EDUCATION

Kaywon University of Art and Design

Seoul, Korea / 2016-2018 / Communication Design

WHY 2 DEGREES?

I realized that a design degree alone might not be enough to make a meaningful impact on the world. To equip myself with essential life skills and innovative mindset, I embarked on a unique educational journey pursuing a degree called LEINN.

Mondragon University

Bilbao, Spain / 2018-2022 / LEINN International

The Evergreen State College (EXCHANGE)

Olympia, USA / 2020 / Business Administration

To study a degree in a new foreign country every year was undoubtedly challenging. However, I developed exceptional adaptability, learning to navigate unfamiliar surroundings, cultures, and academic systems.

Xingwei College (EXCHANGE)

Shanghai, China / 2018 / Liberal arts

This decision has enriched my knowledge and perspective, enabling me to approach design and team-entrepreneurship with a holistic and innovative mindset.

LEINN INTERNATIONAL?

https://leinninternational.travellinguniversity.com

LEINN stands for Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation. Leinn is the most radical degree in the world to combat the greatest challenges of our time, the most disruptive, and skill based degree.

It has implemented a tiimiakatemia methodology from Finland. From the first year, we start a company with an international team of 7 different nationalities, developing authentic products and services that impact society with social values, working with clients, and having an invoice and making a profit in order to pass the year, among other objectives.

We were encouraged to take an active role in their education while traveling the world each academical year, learning from experiences and challenges encountered while running our businesses or working on real projects.

GLOBAL CITIZEN

As a global citizen, my journey has taken me across continents, immersing me in varied cultures and work environments. This rich tapestry of experiences has been an unparalleled source of learning and growth for me.

In every country I've had the privilege to visit and work in, I've been bestowed with unique lessons that have shaped my worldview.

Since its inception, the Asan Nanum Foundation is carrying out various programs throughout the society to spread the entrepreneurship that inherited Asan's creative spirit.

CHANGE MAKERS LAB

CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY

Different university studies show evidence of this need being global. On the ongoing socio-economical framework, it is highly urgent to develop empathic, creative, action oriented and collaborative skills on the young generations. Summing up, we need change makers.

University education needs to provide an answer to this reality. The creation of learning and entrepreneurial transversal platforms for different faculties, needs a different approach to it, where youth can be empowered solving up real global challenges and becoming change makers.

AN SPACE WHERE CHANGE MAKERS ARE MADE, NOT INNOVATIONS

Students would attend ChangeMaker Lab with intense curiosity and the motivation to work with different people. Instead of each working on isolated stages and pieces of the projects, the whole team navigates each and every step of the innovation process together, becoming a creative engine through gathering their individual skills. The process enables the students to free instincts, lateral thinking and approach the old problems from a new perspective, becoming part of the new solutions.

PROJECT EXPERIENCES

These are some of the projects I have passionately pursued to gain real-world experience and leverage my skills in understanding market dynamics.

MOTOWER

Project Seoul, Korea / 2017-2018

Project Leader, Product Designer

COEX RE:PLAY exhibition: Innovation Award

Kaywon entrepreneurship support program winner

Motower is a captivating project born during my time at Art University.

It's a board game that ingeniously combines recycled wooden blocks and thoughtful emotion cards, designed to spark meaningful dialogues about feelings and emotions.

The game's brilliance lies in its ability to create a safe and enjoyable space for people to connect on a deeper level. Whether played among friends, family members, or even strangers, Motower serves as a bridge to open up conversations about emotions that are often challenging to express.

Through its interactive and engaging gameplay, Motower encourages empathy, understanding, and emotional well-being. It fosters genuine connections among players, fostering a sense of closeness and shared experiences. Furthermore, the project's commitment to sustainability by using recycled materials aligns with my dedication to responsible design and environmental consciousness. Motower embodies my passion for creativity and its potential to positively impact the world.

FOST

Project Seattle, USA / 2020-2021

Project Leader, Designer

Secured a significant Government Grant of $5000.

Raised over 130% in two crowdfunding campaigns.

FOST was an ambitious project launched in Seattle, aiming to revolutionize vintage fashion with a curated and secure open market clothing app.

Recognizing the lack of positive and trustworthy online shopping options for vintage clothing, our app set out to provide a seamless and delightful experience for fashion enthusiasts. FOST brought together a diverse collection of authentic vintage pieces, fostering a sustainable and environmentally-friendly approach to fashion.

In our journey, we realized that our research yielded a wealth of valuable information about vintage fashion. Recognizing the lack of accessible and curated knowledge in this space, we decided to share our insights with the world.

Thus, we embarked on an exciting new venture – an independent magazine dedicated to vintage clothing. This beautifully curated publication became a treasure trove of information, educating readers about the fascinating world of vintage fashion while solving the problem of limited resources. But we didn't stop there.

To spread our passion for "Good Information," we also created a line of friendly and approachable goods. These products, adorned with vintage-inspired designs and curated tidbits of knowledge, allowed us to connect with people on a personal level and share our love for all things vintage.

With the magazine and "Good Information" line in our arsenal, FOST became not just an app but a vibrant community, fostering sustainable fashion choices and embracing the nostalgic charm of vintage clothing.

WHITE FIG RESORT

Project Seoul, Korea / 2021-2022

Raised over 272% in crowdfunding campaign.

Redefined the habit cycle.

Drawing from a series of impactful coaching experiences, we recognized a prevalent issue among today's youth – a lack of healthy habit guidance. We observed that many young individuals lacked a safe space and the necessary tools (Not dopamine hack) to cultivate their personal development effectively.

In response to this pressing challenge, our passionate project team conceptualized and brought to life 'White Fig Resort.'

Project Leader, Designer

We believe in the power of personalized development, and 'White Fig Resort' serves as a nurturing space where young individuals can access the right resources, support, and mentorship to move confidently towards their dreams and aspirations. Our vision is to enable today's youth to become future leaders, well-equipped with the essential life skills and the resilience to navigate life's challenges.

We made this concept as a resort, we felt it could best reflect our many concepts of what self improvement could be, and it filled a missing niche in the market of self improvement products that didn’t attempt to provide or facilitate this element of the self development experience in a spiritual sense.

Our wish is that they, the user, could sit down at their desk, open our product, and be transported to the resort and the special minutes of the day that they spend in our resort working on themselves. It is their special time.
