Experiences
2019
March - April: Politecnico di Milano, Lars Laboratory (PC) | Internship
The internship at the LARS Laboratory of the Politecnico di Milano was a valuable opportunity to understand how the university’s activities extend beyond academia and into applied research, with laboratories actively involved in the development of concrete projects destined for implementation. During this experience, I worked on case study analysis and collaborated in drafting the project drawings and the presentation that was later shown at the city council. In the final phase of the internship, I contributed to the design of a bird observatory and participated in creating the model of the entire area under study by the research lab.
2023
February - April: Ruatti Studio Architetti, Milan (MI) | Internship
My experience at Studio Ruatti was crucial, as it marked my first opportunity to work in a professional firm. During my internship, I had the chance to assist Arch. Renato Ruatti in designing an expansion for the headquarters of a well-known engineering company. Alongside drafting project proposals, I personally created the graphic drawings for the renovation of a residential building’s façades in Milan, as well as the materials needed for a SCIA building permit application.
November - December: Sisplan s.r.l., Monza (MB) | Collaboration
The collaboration with Sisplan, a well-established Italian company, was an excellent opportunity for me to gain insight into the bureaucratic aspects of urban planning, the focus of my Master’s degree at the Politecnico di Milano. During this brief but fruitful experience, I contributed to drafting and revising GIS maps and technical reports on the current state of the regional transport system in Sardinia, while also assisting the firm in preparing a project proposal for the activation of a public service for 11 Sardinian municipalities.
November - January (2024): Valueconsult s.r.l., Monza (MB) | Collaboration
My time at Valueconsult allowed me to increase my knowledge and develop a passion for interior design and furniture design for large companies. In addition to assisting in the validation of important public works, such as hospital extensions and the restoration of important archaeological sites, I had the opportunity to conduct studies, analyses, and strategies aimed at drawing up a due diligence in order to reduce the costs significantly for the realisation of 80 new points of sale for a popular jewellery brand.
The skills I acquired in terms of craftsmanship and cost management, combined with the experience gained through a series of shop security audits for a prestigious fashion house, led me to a clear decision on the field in which I wish to operate and further consolidated my professional awareness as a designer.
2024
February - November: Studio CSArch, Milano (MI) | Internship
During my experience at CSArch, I was actively involved in the design and project management of various bank branches across Italy. I also worked on preparing documents for building permits, technical reports, and evaluation sheets for compensatory measures. What I value the most, beyond the tasks I perform, is the opportunity to engage with the needs of large companies, particularly in the areas of furniture design, brand identity, and interior design.
November - December: Professional development break
At the end of my professional internship accredited by the Order of Architects of Milan, I chose to dedicate a period to personal and professional growth. I focused this time on consolidating my knowledge and acquiring new skills in key areas such as business, 3D modeling, graphics, and the English language.
2025
February - today: Designer | Freelance
After a year of experience in business consulting, urban planning, and interior design, I decided to complement my work in architecture firms with an independent project focused on furniture design. This led to the creation of DoMonument, a space where I explore the relationship between form, memory, and monumentality on a domestic scale.
