I am Gabriela Chruisita. For the past three years I have been working and gaining some experience as a communicative and motivated interior designer, specializing in commercial projects.
For me, designing spaces is not only about being relevant - and beyond - to the needs of the people who use them, but it could also be translated as an attempt to establish an identity as a designer. Therefore I am aspired to continue making spaces providing maximality of function while also be enjoyable for people’s senses.

SINILAGI PANGPOL

SINILAGI PANGLIMA POLIM
Initial Design - Construction
F&B | Food & Coffee
Area: 480 sqm | 2 levels
South Jakarta, Indonesia
Completed: November 2024
Sinilagi is located in Panglima Polim, South Jakarta. Being their first branch in the south, they inspired to be relatable with the local lifestyle through the design. We implemented Mid-Century style for the architecture and design element with a touch of modernity and indrustrialism in the furnishings to create a sense of homelike and sophistication.
We use quite a lot of brick and wood as the dominant material, combined with some playful patterns and colors.

MONOLOG GUNAWARMAN
Initial Design - Construction
F&B | Cafe & All Day Breakfast
Area: 450 sqm
South Jakarta, Indonesia
Completed: October 2023
Monolog is one well-known coffee shop that also serves all-day breakfast.
Established in the early 2010s, the majority of their clientele consists of middle-aged individuals. In an effort to attract younger customers, the owner intended to open new branches with a more contemporary and fresh look.
Their new branch in Gunawarman Street was developed with the intention of keeping Monolog’s effortlessness with using wood as finishing material for floor, dropped ceiling, and the majority of the furniture.
More uplifting colors and edgy looking details were also added to the space, with the use of colored wavy tiles and metal texture on some walls, and exposed wood joints on the furniture.

MONOLOG PAKUBUWONO
Construction
F&B | Cafe & All Day Breakfast
Area: 496 sqm
South Jakarta, Indonesia
Completed: December 2023
Since this branch of Monolog is located in ‘Bumi’ Pakubuwono, we wanted to make the space has a more subdued, earthy, and serene style, which is intended to attract families and more mature customers.
To achieve the subdued impression, we bring the façade material indoors using brick tiles on walls.
The earthy look is achieved by using wood for the majority of furnishings as well as the floor and ceiling.
The lighting is also more straightforward with tracklights and a few pendant lights.
The front bar is quite distinctive with its 100x100mm curveedged tile and red grout, upon closer look becomes an intriguing detail.

F&B | Restaurant
Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Bali, Indonesia
2022
Waroeng Tinggi Koffie is a project by JHL Group located in Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Bali.
JHL intended to convert the five-story, deserted structure into a coffee museum on the three lower floors and a restaurant on the top two stories.
Because it is located in one of the most visited tourist destinations that represents Indonesian local history, we wanted to create a classic Indonesianhomey heritage feel into the space, especially the restaurant.
We use quite a lot of rattan and wood as the dominant material. A hint of ChineseIndonesian ancestry can also be seen in certain of the décor and furnishings.

OFFICE GUNAWARMAN
Jakarta, 2022-2023
OFFICE GUNAWARMAN 35
Initial Design - Construction
Private Office
Area: 339 sqm
South Jakarta, Indonesia
Completed: September 2023
Situated on the 3rd floor in the same building as Monolog Gunawarman, Office Gunawarman 35 is the private office of the building owner.
The objective of this office space is to design a cozy work environment with a Modern Chic aesthetic and a few American-Classic details that can be found on some of the wall and ceiling treatments.
White and earthy tones serve as the main colors. Whereas for the material, practically the whole floor is covered in customed wall-to-wall carpet tile, except for some area, we use wood patterned vinyl on the meeting room’s pantry floor, and homogenous tiles on the service area.
The way people work has significantly changed after the pandemic. We translate this into the spatial design of NOBI office, creating an adaptable space by providing flexibility that accommodates diverse needs and functions.
Also, as a company that engages in cryptocurrency as the investment of the future, the office space portrays NOBI in a modern and progressive design.
An open office plan is used to encourage collaboration and create connection between workers. Also using interchangeable partition to create flexibility and adaptability in the function of the space, and at the same time create a sense of privacy when it’s needed.

AXOR JDC

AXOR JDC
Construction
Showroom | Sanitary
Area: 94 sqm
Jakarta Design Center, Central Jakarta, Indonesia
Completed: November 2023
Axor Immersive Gallery is a sub-showroom in Galleria Showroom that is located at Jakarta Design Center. Specializes in designed sanitary by international designers, Axor needs a space that is able to enhance the sophisticated and futuristic style of their products.
The space is set to have a dynamic layout flow that guides customers through the entire experience, using modern futuristic style with curves all over the corner of the walls.
Stretched membrane is used on the ceiling, aside from giving the futuristic feel to the space, it is also to evenly distribute light onto the products.
Inspired by the surrounding environment, we want to bring the outdoor feel to the indoor, blurring the boundaries between both.
Using materials with natural feels, calming color palette, and organic shape, the idea is to create a warm and cozy space that encourages interaction and conversation between people, bringing the sense of luxury when one is at their own home.

Breathing a new soul into the space, we want to create a distinctive character by finding a balance between history and modernity.
Implementing tropical art deco inspired-style with ecletic furnishings and design elements whilst creating a retro whimsical look yet still providing a sense of cozy, comfort, and inclusivity.
There would be a sense of timelessness when experiencing the space, where the old and new blend seamlessly and gracefully together.
We use refined material finishes that express timelessness combined with uplifting color palette, so the space can act as an inclusive place designed for people to enjoy and comfortably have a good time.
