This portolfio documents some of my interior design work during my undergrad academic career at the Savannah College of Art and Design. The projects included were created during my sophomore and junior year and demonstrate continual growth in my skillset and development as a designer.
Throughout the course of my academic journey, as showcased within this portfolio, I have learned to hand-draft and render, as well as digitally model with the use of Autocad, Sketchup, Rhino and Revit. I have also gained creative thinking strategies for imagining a concept, completeing the schematic process, and further crafting design development.
My education has provided me well rounded experience, having had practice designing for a variety of mock clients within a resdential setting, as well as hospitality, retail and workplace.
I am currently working on my senior Capstone project and am excited to further improve my skills and knowledge throughout all areas of the interior design field.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
HOSPITALITY
The objective of this collaborative luxury design project was to create a Michelin Star Restaurant with an attatched Bistro and boutique retail space on the coast of Marseilles, France. The project components included selecting a famous chef and cuisine and conducting research in order to develop a concept.
MEDITERRANEAN MOSAIC
developing the concept
Embodying a contemporary interpretation of the Mediterranean’s timeless allure, combining rustic French charm and the vibrant spirit of Spain, the concept offers a unique fusion experience. Imbued with the sophistication of French and Spanish cuisine, Mediterranean mosaic will draw inspiration from the beautiful scenery of both regions. The space will embody a rich, culturally-influenced aesthetics, with crisp whites, neutrals, various shades of purple and touches of bronze, referencing the sun-drenched coastlines and vibrant scenes of the Mediterranean. The use of sleek furnishings, complemented by luxurious and natural materials such as velvet, stone, wood, and mosaic tile patterns will create a lavish ambiance. The interplay of light, mixed texture, and carefully curated art will create an immersive experience in the restaurant for every guest.

The floor plan I created for this Spanish-French fusion bistro and bar began with a few bubble diagrams developed from and Adjacency Matrix. Those bubbles then became blocks with relative scale. The general idea of the block diagram was later combined with the concept of Mosaic to come up with the unique shape of the bar and the layout of the surrounding tables to fit together like a puzzle piece.
The perspective rendering of this bistro were created directly in Revit. I personally modeled the bar, tables, mirror panels and ceiling elements including string lights.
The bar equipment, chairs and lighting fixtures were all pre-made Revit families sourced from the internet. After applying materiality through Revit, I ran it through the rendering feature while strategically adjusting setting to achieve the desired outcome. I then completed the renderings in Adobe Photoshop, adding bottles, plants and adjusting lighting.

The perspective rendering of this Michelin star Spanish-French Fusion dining experience was modeled and rendered in Revit by my teammate. My particular contribution to the design of this space was the ideation for the incorporation of concept as well as the name and logo of the restaurant.
Along with my teammates, we collaborated on developing the floor plan and organizing a layout based on the dining experience we created.
Furthermore, I assisted in materials and FF&E sourcing for this design as well as the color palette and imagery of our concept.
The perspective rendering of this spice shop was modeled in Revit by my teammate. My contribution to this design was the ideation for the incorporation of concept. The store name, Melanges Bajo el Sol, combining both languages of the assigned cuisine, Spanish and French translates to a mix under the sun, beautifully encapsulating the idea for the retail space. The nsame and logo were particularly one of my contributions.

WORKPLACE
The objective of this studio project was to create an office space in the professor provided building in Orlando. The company assigned to me was OpenTable, the Restaurant
Reservation App. The tasks were to complete brand research in order to create a concept for the two story design.
Inviting Connection
developing the concept
Opentable is a company based on the idea of connecting a restaurant and its customer. The goal of the brand is to fascilitate a guest’s experience and provide and assortment of options in a convenient way. the new office will communicate the concept of INVITING CONNECTION by utilizing an assortment of warm colors and comforting textures that will encourage employees to constantly move throughout the space. The large collaboration spaces will be invitingly vibrant and well lit, taking inspiration from the type restaurant experience that the company promotes.

the schematic process
Step 1: Bubble diagramming
The first step to space planning, after establishing adjacency diagrams is to create loose bubble diagrams. I create as many different ones as possible to generate a variety of space plans as possible. I then choose the one that works best and is in line with my adjacency diagram and matrix.
Step 2: Block Diagramming
After selecting the best bubble diagram, I develop a block diagram in order to establish a more accurate size and shape represantation of each programmed space. Loose block diagrams help to re-evaluate the effeectiveness of the original bubble diagram and will lead to the final floor plan.
Step 3: Final Revit Plan
The final plan developed in revit shows an understanding of wall thickness and placement. Prototypicals and ADA requirements are taken into consideration as well as a clearn path of circulation. Knowledge of dimensioning is demonstrated.
Concept Application: The idea was to create a plan resemling the three images and parti diagrams picked from my concept imagery. I wanted to make an open space allowing for connection with an assorment of areas.

RETAIL
The objective of this project, completed in my second Interior Design Studio was to redesign a local refillery retail space in Savannah. We were provided with the 1,800 sq.ft. building and were required to do a site visit as well as client interview with the owner of Litefoot Company.
Bar of Sustainability
developing the concept
Throughout history, bars were a place that would function as a community center for people of all demographics. It was a social experience that created a space for people to discuss news and have important conversations. The original purpose of a bar aligns with the intention of this design, to create an environment where people will learn, educate and share together in an engaging way.
The design of the refillery will incorporate double sided furnishings to provoke conversation while utilizing elements to draw clients to the central Bar of the space. A reocurring presence of natural and rustic materials will reinforce the connection to a classic bar as well as the idea of nature and sustainability.
Brand Goal: A refillery encourages customers their own recycled containers with its personal and home The objective is to encourage educate about sustainability process.
