Exploratory study of accessibility assessment in El Salvador’s capital city
The Metropolitan Area of San Salvador (AMSS for its acronym in Spanish) is made up of fourteen municipalities, including San Salvador, which is the capital municipality of El Salvador. This condition has resulted in the consolidation of a large number of urban services and facilities over time for the population of this municipality and outside it. This condition influences the offer of public transport and mobilization with private transport, which makes it an interesting space to analyze the level of accessibility to different urban services.
Given the diversity of approaches, methodologies and techniques intended to measure accessibility, this exploratory study aims to determine which variables are sensitive to the results of the evaluation of the level of accessibility to urban facilities through public transport, but with emphasis on the latter for the specific case of San Salvador.
To this end, this work builds a definition of an accessibility approach and a geographic database, adapted to the Salvadoran reality. A network analysis is developed through geographical information and finally a series of key elements are defined that are presented as a result of assessing the level of accessibility to urban areas.

Designed as a house that allows you to rise from the ground to contemplate the infinite horizon, Timeless House has a narrative of space that allows the interiors to dialogue and integrate with the surrounding landscape. There is no time but an entire experience of contemplation and meditation towards the immensity of an infinite blue sea.
The design contemplates accessible flows that allow all family members to enjoy all the spaces, which have as their main focus communicating the interior space with the sea. Comfort is guaranteed considering the climatic aspects of the area, focusing on the air conditioning of the interior space, taking advantage of natural ventilation and the extraction of hot air through a wind tower system.
