Damos la bienvenida a la marca que aterriza en Madrid desplegando argumentos de peso para que sea opción tanto de placer como de negocio. Y por supuesto con una oferta gastronómica cuidada para disfrutar en sus dos espacios. No lo dudes y sumérgete en un interiorismo que comparte filosofía con una cocina sana y divertida. The Posies, Ilegales y Miss Caffeina son algunos artistas confirmados para el Festimad 2M 2016. Uno de los festivales con mayor capacidad de renovación que se ha convertido en un ciclo con programación repartida en diversos escenarios de Madrid. Este año, bajo el lema #BiodiversidadMusical¸ el Festimad 2M nos ofrecerá, hasta el 8 de mayo múltiples conciertos, algunos de ellos para menores dentro del “Festimad Sí Menor”. The Posies, Ilegales and Miss Caffeina are some of the artists confirmed for Festimad 2M 2016. One of the festivals best at reinventing itself has become an entire series, with shows dotting various locations around Madrid. This year, under the slogan #BiodiversidadMusical¸ the Festimad 2M concert series will feature multiple concerts until May 8, some of them for children as part of "Festimad Sí Menor." Julia Margaret Cameron, la dama negra de la fotografía artística, amiga de artistas e intelectuales como Charles Darwin y su sobrina-nieta, la escritora Virginia Woolf, es una de las grandes pioneras del arte de la imagen estática del siglo XIX. Bajo el lema ‘Ayúdanos a ayudarles’ organizado por la ONG Asociación Palestino Andalusí para la Infancia (APAINF), más de 60 expositores con todo tipo de productos se han unido por una buena causa, todos los fondos que se recauden irán destinados a traer a España y costear las operaciones oculares y auditivas de un grupo de niños palestinos que se encuentran en un campo de refugiados de Líbano. With the slogan "Help us to help them," organized by the NGO APAINF (Palestinian/Andalusian Association for Children), more than 60 exhibitors with all kinds of products have united for a good cause. All funds raised will be used to bring a group of Palestinian children, from a refugee camp in Lebanon, to Spain and pay for the vital eye and ear operations they need.

Esta obra es un retrato sobre la sociedad española y sobre nuestras creencias ante nuestro sistema judicial. Una apuesta de la compañía Avanti Teatro, ideada por Luis Felipe Blasco Vilches (quien explícitamente se inspiró en ‘Doce hombres sin piedad’ y que sigue las pautas dramáticas el célebre texto original de Reginald Rose), dirigida por Andrés Lima y con la actuación de Cuca Escribano, artífices de este gran proyecto teatral. This work is a portrait of Spanish society and our beliefs about our judicial system. A project by the company Avanti Theater, devised by Luis Felipe Blasco Vilches (explicitly inspired by Twelve Angry Men and following the dramatic patterns in the original text by Reginald Rose), directed by Andrés Lima and featuring Cuca Escribano, the architects of this major theatrical effort.

EL CUARTO JINETE Podríamos decir que estamos ante una distopía, “la distopía de un mundo colapsado y sin recursos, cuyos escasos valores residen en una élite que ha logrado sobrevivir a las adversidades”. Así habla de esta obra Carlos Be, un texto de Gustavo Van Lee que el también autor y director catalán ha hecho suya para poner en escena la historia de Jan y Ludvík, interpretados por José Ygarza y Manuel Moya. La acción se sitúa en un futuro apocalíptico demasiado próximo, en el que estos dos hombres se baten en duelo por sus principios. Jan opina que nada le ata a un mundo que ya no reconoce y Ludvík cree que aún hay mucho por hacer, cree en un porvenir por el que merece la pena apostar. El conformismo, el abatimiento, la desidia, frente al imperativo de la acción y a la esperanza. La ambición se enfrenta al amor y a la amistad en este thriller futurista que tiene un desenlace tan real y humano que nos puede escocer, porque nos enfrenta como humanidad con nuestros propios límites.

We might say that we are dealing here with the dystopia "of a collapsed world without resources, what little is left being held by an elite that has managed to survive adversity." This is Carlos Be's take on this text by Gustavo Van Lee, which the fellow Catalonian director and author made his own to stage the story of Jan and Ludvík, played by José Manuel Ygarza and Manuel Moya. The action takes place in an all-too-proximate apocalyptic future, in which these two men fight for their respective principles: Jan believes that nothing binds him to a world that he no longer recognizes, while Ludvík believes there is still much that can be done, and that there is a future worth fighting for. Conformism, defeatism and apathy vs. a spirit of action and hope. Ambition clashes with love and friendship in this futuristic thriller with a very real and human outcome, and which can sting our consciences, as it spurs us to face our own limits as people.

Esto sólo si cabe: Señalar que la dirección artística del montaje corre a cargo de un debutante en el teatro llamado Manuel Albarrán, un experto en el trabajo con el metal y el cuero afincado en Estados Unidos que ha creado vestuario para películas y vídeo clips de Angelina Jolie, Beyonce, Madonna, Rihanna o Lady Gaga.

A worthy sidenote: the work's artistic director was a newcomer to the theater, Manuel Albarrán, an expert in creations with metal and leather who lives in the United States and has done wardrobe work for the movies and music videos, for the likes of Angelina Jolie, Beyonce, Madonna, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

AFTERWORK *una obra en la que nada ni nadie es lo que parece Fredo, Rober y Dani, empleados de una multinacional, se reúnen cada tarde en Afterwork, el bar de moda al que acuden oficinistas de la zona financiera con sus trajes elegantes y sus afiladas lenguas. Entre cerveza y cerveza, Fredo y Dani le cuentan a Rober un nuevo proyecto vital, una idea que cambiará sus vidas y la de muchos de los que los rodean, la opción definitiva para salir de los grises despachos en los que se agostan. A medida que transcurre la conversación, sin embargo, comienzan a surgir dudas porque todos parecen tener algo que ocultar. MIRÓ Y EL OBJETO *el asesinato de la pintura Esta exposición monográfica, la primera muestra dedicada al objeto en la producción de Joan Miró, analiza cómo el artista representa los objetos en sus cuadros y cómo incorpora gradualmente el objeto físico en la pintura mediante el uso del collage. En muchos aspectos, este proceso significó, a finales de la década de 1920, un desafío frontal a las artes plásticas, lo que él mismo definiría como el «asesinato de la pintura». Miró y el objeto consta de unas 130 obras, incluyendo pinturas, collages, objetos, cerámicas y esculturas procedentes de la Fundación Miró y se enriquece de importantes colecciones, tanto públicas como privadas, de Europa y de América, todas ellas seleccionadas individualmente según un riguroso criterio científico. Esta selección demuestra que Joan Miró fue mucho más que un pintor, que experimentó con un extenso abanico de materiales artísticos e ideas poco convencionales y que, a través del proceso de desafiar la pintura y de adherirse al nuevo concepto del objeto, propició un cambio transcendental en nuestra percepción del arte. This single-theme exhibition, the first dedicated to objects in the work of Joan Miró, analyzes how the artist depicted objects in his paintings and gradually incorporated physical objects into them through the use of collage. In many respects, this process entailed, in the late 1920s, a head-on defiance of artistic tradition, which he himself defined as the "murder of painting". "Miró and the object" consists of about 130 works, including paintings, collages, objects, ceramics and sculptures from the Miró Foundation, drawing upon important collections, both public and private, in Europe and America, all individually selected based on a rigorous scientific approach. This assortment demonstrates that Joan Miró was much more than a painter who experimented with a wide range of artistic materials and unconventional ideas. Rather, through the process of challenging painting and embracing a new concept of the object, he spawned momentous changes in our whole perception of Art. Jointly organized by the "la Caixa" Bank Foundation and the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, and curated by William Jeffett, chief curator at the Salvador Dalí Museum in Saint Petersburg (Florida), the exhibition can be seen until May 22 at the CaixaForum Madrid.

l Sinodal de Aguilafuente es un libro emblemático de la cultura española, por ser el primer libro impreso en España en 1472. En la localidad que lleva su nombre, Aguilafuente (en la provincia de Segovia), se representa anualmente desde el año 2003 la obra teatral del Sinodal en la iglesia de Santa María, para reivindicar el trascendental hecho de la introducción de la imprenta en España y la apertura a la modernidad. Año tras año se fueron ampliando las actividades, que han movilizado a todo un pueblo en torno a un libro. Porque el “Sinodal” no pretende ser una fiesta más para atraer turismo, es un acontecimiento cultural en sí mismo, aúna cultura con entretenimiento.

El Sinodal de Aguilafuente is a landmark work in Spanish history, as the first to be printed in the country, in 1472. In the town that bears its name, Aguilafuente (in the province of Segovia), an annual work of theatre has been performed ever since 2003 evoking the Synod, at the Iglesia de Santa María, to mark the momentous milestone of the introduction of printing to Spain and its opening up to modernity. Year after year, over the course of history, the activities surrounding this celebration have expanded, with the book bringing the entire community together. Because the Sinodal does not aim to constitute just one more festival to attract more tourism, but rather a cultural event in itself, combining culture with entertainment.

The opening ceremony in which actors, men and women donning period garb, receive the bishop, who arrives under a palio (canopy), followed by a proclamation and medieval dances. Then the retinue and group of medieval musicians accompany the bishop on his way to the church where the Synod is to be held. 2 REPRESENTACIÓN DEL SINODO. Recreación en la iglesia de Santa María de una sesión del Sínodo celebrado en esta misma iglesia de Aguilafuente durante la cual, con el complemento de luz y sonido, el espectador se siente transportado a 1472. A reenactment, in the Church of St. Mary, of a session of the Synod held in this same Aguilafuente church, complete with light and sound features, as the visitor is transported back to 1472. 3 TEATRO DE CALLE Y AMBIENTE DE LA LOCALIDAD. Paula Bressel Ilustradora Terminando mis estudios el London College of Fashion (Universidad de Artes de Londres), he colaborado con varias publicaciones y trabajo en multitud de proyectos que pueden variar desde murales, apuntes a acuarela y boli o caricaturas. Me gusta mezclar las técnicas tradicionales con las posibilidades de la tecnología y me motivan los proyectos que me supongan un reto y me hagan crecer. Creo en que la diferencia entre algo bueno o malo recae en los pequeños detalles. Amane de la belleza en cualquier forma y extremadamente sensible, me gusta más observar que ser observada.
