La comida mexicana es junto con la francesa, Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Y para los que no tenemos la suerte de surcar el océano, desembarcar en la Ciudad de México y degustar sus famosos platos encontramos en Madrid el DF Bar. Situado en la calle Larra desde 2016, DF es un restaurante que contiene en su amplia carta las recetas mexicanas más tradicionales. Desde los entrantes más elaborados hasta las Tortas, su plato estrella. Éstas se elaboran con un trozo de pan a la plancha que se parte en dos y se rellena con diferentes ingredientes, y cuentan con una gran variedad para todos los gustos. Otro de sus puntos fuertes son los Tacos Mexicanos, famosísimos en su país de origen, los cuales constan de una pequeña tortilla, que suele ser de maíz, y que contiene dentro diferentes alimentos como cerdo o pollo. A la hora de hablar de las bebidas destacan el Mezcal (una bebida elaborada a partir de la destilación del corazón del maguey) y, cómo no, las Margaritas, ese brebaje tan típico mexicano con toques de tequila, sal y lima o limón que no deja indiferente a nadie. Por último, los postres como el exquisito Brownie casero de chocolate y un Panqué con salsa de cajeta y tequila para poner el broche de oro en este mexicano en pleno centro de Madrid. Todo un sinfín de sabores que se unen en este local para dar forma y encandilar hasta al paladar más exigente , de la mano de Doña Guille, su chef más Mexicana. Mexican food is, along with French, has been declared World Heritage, and for those of us who are not fortunate enough to cross the ocean, disembark in Mexico City, and taste its famous dishes, we have the DF Bar, right here in Madrid. Located on Calle Larra since 2013, DF is a restaurant whose extensive menu lists the most traditional Mexican recipes. From the most elaborate starters, to its tortas, its signature dish. These specialties are made with a piece of bread that is split in two and filled with different ingredients. They are served cold or hot, and there are a wide variety, to suit all tastes. Another highlight are its tacos, famous back in their country of origin; a small tortilla, usually of corn, stuffed with different delights, such as pork, or chicken. When it comes to drinks, we must mention the mezcal (a drink made from a distillation of the heart of the agave plant) and, of course, the margaritas, that typical Mexican concoction with touches of tequila, salt and lime or lemon that everyone loves. Finally, there are desserts, such as the exquisite homemade chocolate brownie, or the pancake with cajeta syrup and tequila, for a sweet finale at this slice of Mexico right in the heart of Madrid. La Fundación Canal acoge por primera vez en Madrid la colección completa de carteles de Toulouse-Lautrec. La muestra incluye los 33 carteles que el pintor postimpresionista realizó. Estas obras constituyen una de las dos únicas colecciones completas de sus carteles existentes en el mundo junto con la de la Biblioteca Nacional de París. Junto a estas ilustraciones, se exhibe otra treintena de piezas de otros autores de la época, como Alphonse Mucha, Jules Cheret o Theophile-Alexandre Steinlen, entre otros. El conjunto nos permite observar la manera de entender la vida moderna, los placeres, la escena cultural o el consumo que marcaron este periodo vibrante y hedonista. ESTE ES UN PAÍS LIBRE Y SI NO TE GUSTA VETE A COREA DEL NORTE Íñigo Guardamino es un miembro de la generación de dramaturgos y dramaturgas que marcan la pauta del teatro contemporáneo. Tras sus éxitos anteriores, ahora vuelve a la cartelera este misil teatral capaz de hacer saltar por los aires cualquier tipo de convencionalismo. En este montaje de Guardamino, como en todos los que salen de su cerebro genial y trastocado, accedemos a esa parte tan personal y oscura de su universo, donde comparte con nosotros su forma de ver el mundo, sus preocupaciones y temores sobre una sociedad enferma cuya sanación está lejos de alcanzarse. Este es un país libre y si no te gusta vete a Corea del Norte es un trabajo que pretende ahondar en nuestras contradicciones, plantear preguntas incómodas sobre nuestra sociedad y los males que nos aquejan. Sobre nuestra ‘libertad’... ¿De verdad creo que vivo en un país de libertades? ¿De verdad me tengo que comer esta mierda de realidad que me rodea? ¿Es el capitalismo en su versión neoliberal la única solución para poder gestionar un país? Estas son algunas de las preguntas que nos suscita la obra protagonizada por Natalia Díaz, Sara Moraleda y Rodrigo Sáenz de Heredia. Pero a pesar de este apocalipsis al que parece que nos vemos abocados, Guardamino, gracias a su ingenio mordaz, siempre sabe sacarnos la mayor de las carcajadas posibles. Te ríes de tu mierda, sí, pero te ríes al fin y al cabo.
Íñigo Guardamino is a member of a generation of dramatists and playwrights setting trends in contemporary theater. After his previous hits, this theatrical grenade hits the stage, poised to blow all conventionalism to smithereens. In this work by Guardamino, as in all those that emerge from his brilliant but troubled mind, we are exposed to a personal and dark part of his universe through which he shares with us his way of viewing the world, his anxieties, and fears about a sick society that is far from being cured. This is a Free Country and If You Don't Like It Go to North Korea is a work that aims to reflect on and delve into our contradictions, posing uncomfortable questions about our society and the ills that afflict us. About our "freedom" ... do I really believe that I live in a free country? Do I really have to eat this crappy reality that surrounds me? Is neoliberal capitalism the only option to run a country? These are some of the questions posed by the work, starring Natalia Díaz, Sara Moraleda and Rodrigo Sáenz de Heredia. Despite this apocalypse to which we seem to be doomed, Guardamino, thanks to his biting wit, always knows how to make us laugh anyway. You laugh at your shit... but you do laugh.

Muñeca de porcelana es la primera producción que se hace en el mundo después del estreno absoluto que el 4 de diciembre de 2015 se hizo en el Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre de Broadway de la obra original, China Doll, protagonizada por Al Pacino y que el autor David Mamet escribió para él. Un millonario le acaba de comprar un avión a su joven prometida como regalo de boda. Su intención es jubilarse y dedicarse enteramente a ella. Durante su último día en la oficina antes de reunirse, instruye a su joven ayudante para poder atender sus negocios desde la distancia. Pero justo antes de salir recibe una llamada de última hora que deseará no haber recibido nunca. Esta versión española está dirigida por Juan Carlos Rubio, teniendo esta vez a José Sacristán como protagonista junto a Javier Godino. Después de Razas, Mamet ha creado una intensa y emocionante estructura teatral de vibrante ritmo que mezcla temas recurrentes como el poder de la política, la economía y los medios de comunicación, con otros nuevos como la lealtad y las dificultades del ser humano para romper con su pasado. Una espiral de sucesos que, en menos de 24 horas, modificarán para siempre el desnudo de sus protagonistas. Y posiblemente nuestra visión de la cara oculta de los dueños del mundo. This China Doll is the first staging in the world after its premiere on December 4, 2015 at the Broadway Gerald Schoenfeld Theater. The original China Doll starred Al Pacino and was written by playwright David Mamet with him in mind. A millionaire has just bought a plane for his young fiancée as a wedding gift. His intention is to retire and devote himself entirely to her. During his last day at the office, before meeting with her, he gives his young assistant instructions, so that he can keep tabs on his business while he is away. A spiral of events ensues that, in less than 24 hours, will forever change the lives of its protagonists; and, possibly, our view of the hidden face of the world's magnates. This new show is slated to run from March 28 to May 27 at the Teatro Bellas Artes in Madrid.

Cada año, con la llegada de la Luna de Nisán, la que según el calendario judío marca el inicio de la Pascua, Algeciras se transforma. Durante una semana, sus calles y plazas se convierten en un mosaico formado por sonidos, imágenes, colores, arte, fe, devoción, sentimiento e historia. Todo esto y mucho más representan la Semana Santa de Algeciras, distinta cada año porque así lo quieren sus gentes. Trece desfiles procesionales, desde el Domingo de Ramos hasta el de Resurrección, ponen al alcance de todos la Pasión, Muerte y Resurrección de Cristo, haciendo de estos días momentos mágicos. Desde el Lunes Santo, con el acompañamiento del Tercio Duque de Alba, el esplendoroso Viernes Santo, con cuatro pasos procesionales recorriendo la ciudad, hasta las miles de personas que el

Each year, with the arrival of the Moon of Nisan, which, according to the Jewish calendar, marks the start of Easter, Algeciras transforms: for a week its streets and squares become a mosaic full of sounds, images, colours, art, faith, devotion, sentiment and history. Holy Week in Algeciras is all this and much more, a bit different every year, because its people want it that way. Durante el 2017 la pasarela recibió más de 100.000 visitantes In 2017 the bridge drew more than 100,000 visitors El corazón de hierro, conocido como el Puente Colgante, fue el primer transbordador construido en el mundo que este año celebra su 125 aniversario, enmarcado además en el Año Europeo del Patrimonio Cultural 2018. En la Noble Villa de Portugalete descansa desde 1893 esta joya arquitectónica, para la que se han programado durante el año una amplia agenda de actividades culturales y turísticas. Este puente consiguió unir Getxo con Portugalete, dos pequeñas localidades balnearias del País Vasco, sin necesidad de interrumpir la navegación del que era uno de los puertos fluviales con más activo tráfico naval de Europa en el siglo XIX. El diseño fue obra de Alberto Palacio Elissague, conocido también por su participación en la construcción del Palacio de Cristal del Parque del Retiro de Madrid. Mantiene su servicio ininterrumpido a lo largo de los 365 días del año, las 24 horas, y es uno de los iconos turísticos de Euskadi.

Del mismo modo también ofrece la posibilidad de alquilar sus espacios para eventos y actividades para quienes busquen emociones fuertes como la escalada al cielo o el rappel. Terrazas sobre la zona de embarque permiten vivir al visitante una experiencia única y contemplar unas vistas extraordinarias de la Ría y los municipios colindantes. Actualmente quiere servir de ejemplo para la homologación y reconocimiento de otros siete puentes colgantes que existen en Francia, Inglaterra, Alemania y Argentina. Por este motivo, en la agenda de actividades de 2018, el Puente Bizkaia será el anfitrión, en julio, del Congreso de Puentes Transbordadores en el Mundo. The iron structure known as the Hanging Bridge was the
first of its kind in the world, a transporter bridge, and this year celebrates its 125th anniversary, also forming part of the European Cultural Heritage Year. Since 1893 this architectonic gem has towered over the city of Portugalete, with a wide agenda of cultural and tourist activities slated in relation to the bridge throughout the year. This bridge connects Getxo with Portugalete, two small towns in the Basque Country, without interrupting navigation on what was once one of Europe’s busiest river ports, in the 19th century. It was designed by Alberto Palacio Elissague, also known for his participation in the construction of the Crystal Palace at the Retiro Park in Madrid. It offers uninterrupted service 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day, and is one of the Basque Country's tourism icons. It also offers the possibility of rentals for events and activities, like adrenaline seekers interesting in climbing to the top of it, or rappelling. Terraces on the boarding area allow the
visitor to enjoy a unique experience and take in extraordinary views of the estuary and surrounding municipalities. Officials are striving for it to serve as an example for the certification and recognition of seven other such transporter bridges, in France, England, Germany and Argentina. Hence, on the 2018 lineup of activities the Vizcaya Bridge will host the International Congress of Transporter Bridges, in July. La Semana Santa de Orihuela es una de las manifestaciones religioso-culturales más relevantes de España la cual fue declarada de Interés Turístico Internacional en 2010. Una de las procesiones más sobrecogedoras es la que se vive el Jueves Santo. En “La Procesión del Santísimo Cristo del Silencio” se pueden ver dos largas filas de cofrades caminando entre la multitud en el más absoluto silencio. Se trata de La Hermandad Penitencial del Silencio, que tiene su origen en 1940. Dentro de las tradiciones religiosas resalta otra procesión: la del “Santo Entierro de Cristo”, el Sábado Santo y es probablemente la procesión de mayor singularidad de Orihuela. Remonta sus orígenes a principios del siglo XVII cuando el Gobierno de la ciudad decide nombrar al “Caballero Cubierto”. Este cargo honorí-

fico anual supone, a quien lo ostenta, el privilegio de portar un pendón negro con el lema de la ciudad, e ir vestido con frac y chistera, la cual podrá llevar en todo el recorrido. Se trata de una procesión de luto oficial en la que participa todo el gobierno municipal. Del mismo modo, “La Diablesa”, consiste en una cruz situada sobre un globo terráqueo, flanqueado éste por un esqueleto a un lado y por un diablo con pechos, al otro. Esta representación, única en el mundo, es un tema recurrente todos los años en los noticiarios del país. Es, en definitiva, la Semana Santa de Orihuela, una experiencia única. Su realismo no solo conmueve sino envuelve a cualquiera que lo contemple. Orihuela's Holy Week is one of Spain’s most important religious-cultural manifesta-
tions, having been declared of International Tourism Interest in 2010. One of the most enthralling processions is that held on Holy Thursday. In "The Procession of the Holy Christ of Silence" one can behold two long lines of penitents walking through the crowd in absolute silence; the group in question is La Hermandad Penitencial del Silencio, dating from 1940. Within these religious traditions another procession stands out: that of the Santo Entierro de Cristo, on Holy Saturday, probably constituting Orihuela's most unique procession. It traces its origins back to the beginning of the 17th century, when the town hall decided to appoint a "Covered Knight". This annual honorary position entails, for those who hold it, the privilege of carrying a black banner bearing the motto of
the city and donning a tuxedo and top hat along the entire route. This is a procession of official mourning in which the entire municipal government participates. La Diablesa (She-Devil) meanwhile, features a cross on a globe, flanked by a skeleton on one side and a devil with breasts on the other. This event and its imagery, unique in the world, is a topic regularly covered by national media. It is, in short, the Holy Week of Orihuela, a unique experience. Its realism is not only moving, but enraptures all those who experience it.

Es dejarse llevar por el sonido de los tambores y cornetas, mezclados con el silencio, que atraen cada año un mayor número de visitantes. La Semana Santa de Teruel, declarada de Interés Turístico Nacional, es uno de los principales atractivos turísticos de la ciudad. El éxito de esta tradición se debe a la implicación de todos los turolenses, a través de la Junta de Hermandades y Cofradías de la Semana Santa de Teruel. También el Viernes Santo se celebra la Procesión de la Hermandad de Jesús Atado a la Columna y Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, que durante las primeras horas de la mañana se dirige hasta el centro penitenciario para solicitar el indulto de un preso, en una ceremonia cargada de tradición y simbolismo. Los actos finalizan el martes de Pascua con una jornada campestre que data de la Reconquista: el Sermón de las Tortillas. La Semana Santa de Teruel logra sobrecoger todos los corazones de quienes la contemplan. Experiencing Teruel's Holy week means walking its streets, behol-

The Good Friday Procession is of special note for its solemni-
ty, the length of the route, and its duration, with involvement by all the brotherhoods, with thirteen floats and their bands, featuring horns and drums. Good Friday also features the Procession of the Brotherhood of Jesus Tied to the Column and Our Lady of Hope, which during the early hours of the morning heads to the prison to seek pardon for a prisoner, in a ceremony rich in tradition and symbolism. The acts wind down on Easter Tuesday with a countryside event dating from the years of the Reconquest: El Sermón de las Tortillas. Desde la bulliciosa e infantil salida del Colegio Hermano Gárate de la Procesión de Las Palmas al sobrecogedor silencio con el que el Muñidor indica la salida del Jesús de Las Penas el Martes Santo. De la devoción que sienten en el Barrio de Los Ángeles por María Santísima de la Salud, a la vistosidad de la Hermandad de la Flagelación. Una Pasión que no hay que perderse. Peculiaridades dignas de ver y recordar en la Semana Mayor de Arcos Particularities worth seeing and remembering from Arcos’s biggest festival En Arcos de la Frontera se suele decir... "Ya huele a Semana Santa”, y realmente es así; al amanecer, las calles huelen a limpio, a la cal que empapa las fachadas de las casas. Por la tarde a incienso y cera de las iglesias que celebran sus santos oficios y al caer la noche, a madera antigua y desempolvada de los pasos que las hermandades recuperan para empezar los ensayos con costaleros devotos. Pero durante toda la jornada, huele a primavera incipiente camino de la luna llena. Declarada de Interés Turístico, este “drama sacro” que se repite año tras año, es realmente distinto al de otros lugares, y ello, no sólo por el singular escenario que la recoge, haciéndola íntima y colorista, sino por su historia. Esa incorporación del pueblo, con su folklore per-

sonal al rito religioso de la Semana Santa, reviviendo siglos y siglos de trágica belleza. Peculiaridades, dignas en la Semana Mayor de Arcos y que despiertan la curiosidad del visitante, son los “armaos”, la versión arcense de la guardia romana encargada de custodiar al Nazareno, y las “saetas”, un canto religioso de carácter flamenco, que se entona al paso de la imágenes y que van dirigidas al corazón de los fieles. Actualmente, son diez las hermandades de penitencia que realizan salida procesional en la ciudad durante estas fechas tan señaladas. In Arcos de la Frontera it is often said... Declared of Touristic Interest, this "sacred drama" repeated year after year is truly different from those in other places, not only thanks to the unique setting surrounding it, making it intimate and colorful, but also because of its history. And there is an incorporation of the people, with their personal folklore related the to religious ritual of Holy Week, reliving centuries and centuries of tragic beauty.
Peculiarities worthy of Arcos's big week, and that pique visitors' curiosity include its armaos, the city's version of the Roman guard, in charge of guarding the Nazarene; and its saetas: flamenco-like religious songs sung as the floats are carried by, to touch the hearts of the faithful. There are currently ten penitent brotherhoods that march in the city during this important week.

In a territory as small as Formentera, the line between a cultural and natural element is blurred. To celebrate the European Year of Cultural Heritage, it has presented a new Heritage Catalogue, and uploaded to its VisitFormentera channel new aerial videos where one can view the island’s mills and lighthouses from an unusual perspective. The launch of a Formentera 365 application is also planned, allowing visitors to plan their trip to the island.
In May there is a great variety of cultural and athletic events, to run, swim and compete in this very unique setting. La perfecta unión entre devoción, tradición y patrimonio The perfect combination of devotion, tradition and heritage Ponferrada, capital del Bierzo, constituye una de las etapas principales del Camino de Santiago a su paso por la provincia de León. A los pies del rio Sil encontramos el castillo de los Templarios, en cuyas faldas se guarda el casco antiguo de la ciudad. Imprescindible llegar a la Calle del Reloj donde se levanta su torre sobre una de las puertas del antiguo recinto amurallado. Junto a ésta se sitúa el Convento de las Madres Concepcionistas con la imagen de la Purísima Concepción. Parte de estos monumentos tienen especial importancia durante la Semana Santa declarada de Interés Turístico Nacional y única en la región. Son cinco los actos de la Pasión que se muestran en la capital berciana durante toda la semana. En primer lugar, una tradición ancestral, la salida del Lambrión Chupancandiles. Se trata de un nazareno vestido con túnica negra y a golpe de campana anunciando por las calles una semana antes la proximidad de la Semana Santa.

El Domingo de Ramos, al anochecer, militares del ejército de tierra proceden al traslado al Castillo de los Templarios del Cristo de la Esperanza mientras que el Lunes Santo se celebra el Vía Crucis con los pasos de una réplica del Cristo de la Fortaleza. El Jueves Santo, la alcaldesa recibe la llave del Santísimo Sacramento para su custodia hasta el día siguiente, donde en la madrugada de Viernes Santo, cofrades de la Real Hermandad de Jesús Nazareno, conocidos como “corredores”, recorren la ciudad con sus clarines y timbales con un toque ritual cuyo origen se remonta a primera música conocida de Ponferrada. Los dos últimos actos son el sábado con la procesión de la Soledad y el Domingo de Resurrección, en la que se quitará el luto a la Virgen, patrona de Ponferrada y del Bierzo, también conocida como “La Morenica”. A must is a visit to the Calle del Reloj, where a tower stands over one of the old walled enclosure' gateways. Some of these monuments take on special importance during the Holy Week, declared of National Touristic Interest and unique in the region. There are five acts commemorating the Passion that take place during the week. Con origen a finales del siglo XV, en la ciudad hacen estación de penitencia más de catorce hermandades. Los palacios, las casas señoriales y la belleza de su casco histórico, sirven de marco perfecto para el fervor con el que los vecinos viven la fiesta. La primavera es una época muy agradable para visitar Écija, ya que es el momento en que florecen los naranjos inundando de un exquisito olor a azahar sus calles y plazas. En ocasiones se mezcla con el incienso de los pasos de las distintas hermandades, una experiencia inolvidable para los sentidos.

En la ciudad astigitana se asentaron desde tiempos remotos la mayoría de las comunidades religiosas de la cristiandad, y todavía están asentadas algunas comunidades como las Dominicas, en el Convento de Santa Florentina, que elaboran una exquisita repostería artesanal con recetas muy antiguas transmitidas de generación en generación, como los bizcochos marroquíes, pestiños, tortas de almendra, delicias de almendra y batata, etc., que se pueden adquirir a través del torno. Pero la Semana Santa en Écija también es artesanía, ya que muchas de estas obras forman parte del rico patrimonio artístico de la ciudad. Actualmente, esta tradición continúa, existiendo aquí grandes profesionales artesanos de ebanistería, forja, bordados y escultura. its baroque air and the beauty of its pasos, or floats, whose carved statues, by major artists like Juan de Mesa, Montes de Oca, and Gaspar del Águila, span centuries of history. Its origins dating back to the 15th century, more than fourteen brotherhoods of penitents march during its Easter Week. Some of its floats stand out for maintaining, to different degrees, the Ecija style, which, in contrast to the Seville style, are borne on the shoulders by men dressed in tunics and hoods. The images are placed on high stands or platforms featuring square designs, and their verticality is striking. The city’s palaces and manors and the beauty of its historic center are the perfect backdrop for the passion with which its residents thrill to this tradition. Spring is a very pleasant time to visit Écija, as it is when the orange trees are in bloom, flooding the streets and promenades with the exquisite scent of orange blossom. Sometimes this aroma mixes with the in-
cense wafting from the different brotherhoods' floats, an unforgettable delight for the senses. Since time immemorial, most of the different Christian communities set down roots in Écija, and today one can still enjoy homemade pastries, with recipes handed down from generation to generation, like their Moroccan sponge cakes, pestiños (deep fried, sugar-frosted dough), and almond cakes, among others. But Easter in Ecija is also about crafts, with many of these works forming part of the city's rich artistic heritage. This tradition continues at this time, with its outstanding professional cabinetmakers, embroiderers, smiths and sculptors.

XV, momento en que la ciudad fue tomada por las tropas cristianas encabezadas por los Reyes Católicos. l tercer viernes de febrero, la ciudad de Teruel se convierte en una auténtica villa medieval repleta de puestos artesanos y tabernas para conmemorar la historia de Los amantes de Teruel. En el siglo XIII, dos jóvenes de Teruel llamados Isabel de Segura y Diego de Marcilla se aman desde niños, pero al no disponer él de herencia, su enlace parece imposible. Consigue un plazo de cinco años, para hacer fortuna en la guerra, pero a su vuelta, Isabel está casada con Pedro de Azagra. Isabel había cedido a casarse tras el falso anuncio de la muerte de Diego. El amante acude al encuentro con Isabel, quiere pedirle un beso antes de marchar, pero ésta se lo niega por pertenenecer a otro hombre. Diego no puede soportarlo y cae muerto. Al día siguiente en el funeral, Isabel de Segura está allí, iba a darle a su amado el beso que anteriormente le negó. En ese instante ella también cae fulminada. La tradición cuenta que ambos murieron por amor, por eso fueron enterrados juntos y así han permanecido hasta hoy.
From 3rd weekend of February the city of Teruel transforms into a genuine medieval village packed with stalls of artisans and taverns to commemorate the story of the lovers from Teruel. In the 13th century there were two young people from Teruel, Isabel de Segura and Diego de Marcilla, who had loved each other ever since childhood, but his lack of any inheritance seem to make the match an impossible one. He is given five years in which to earn his fortune, at war, but when he returns Isabel has married Pedro de Azagra after receiving erroneous news of Diego's demise. Her suitor goes to Isabel and asks her for a kiss before leaving, which she denies him, as she now belongs to another man. Unable to bear this, Diego drops dead. The next day at the funeral Isabel de Segura is about to give her beloved the kiss that she previously refused him, but just then she too drops dead. Legend has it that they both died of broken hearts, so they were buried together and have remained so ever since.

Por las plazas y calles, unos cuatrocientos participantes representan la historia casi a tiempo real. Durante estos días la capital turolense se llena de conciertos, animación, teatro y multitud de actividades para todas las edades que han convertido a Las Bodas de Isabel en un gran atractivo turístico. In February the entire city and nearly one hundred thousand visitors, tripling the local population, flood the streets of Teruel, everyone clad in 13th century garb. In the squares and streets about four hundred participants act out the story, almost in real time. During these days the capital of Teruel is filled with concerts, performances, theater, and a whole series of activities for all ages, which have turned “Isabel’s Weddings” into a major tourist attraction. El foco de luz cenital parece potenciar todo su esplendor. Los reflejos polícromos del haz de luz rebotan en una explosión de color dentro de las facetas de corte brillante. Tanto que casi nublan la vista y es imposible mirarlo fijamente sin marearse. La alarma de proximidad momentáneamente desactivada. Quizá el primer error y el origen de toda la tragedia que está a punto de desencadenarse. La exposición cierra hoy y afortunadamente no se ha registrado ni un solo incidente. Sólo necesita un segundo; apoyar la ficha para escribir los datos después de un duro día de trabajo. Sólo necesita un pequeño espacio para poder escribir cómodamente. Sólo eso. Sólo tiene que mover el gigantesco diamante unos milímetros. Mira lentamente alrededor. Nadie se dará cuenta. Extiende la mano con la ficha sobre el plinto. El diamante comienza a deslizarse con una inercia propia. Se resbala vertiginosamente. La mirada incrédula, los ojos desorbitados. Los brazos que se alargan y no llegan nunca. Las falanges enhiestas. Las yemas de los dedos que una milésima de segundo antes quizá hubiesen llegado a tiempo a cogerlo. Siempre tarde. - Clin…clin…clin…clin… Clon! El tiempo se congela. La fatalidad resuena con un estruendoso silencio. La pausa es eterna. Los ojos desorbitados, la cara desencajada, la desesperación a flor de piel, la impotencia mayúscula. Todo eso se congela en un único instante. Todo se vuelve blanco y negro. Los ojos de incredulidad acompañaron un suspiro. - ¡¡NO ME LO PUEDO CREER!! La pausa eterna se rompe. El vigilante desanda sus pasos, cansado. Exactamente la misma cadencia, exactamente las mismas pisadas hasta la entrada de la sala. Se detiene. Otra pausa. Vuelve a avanzar, mira a un lado y otro, la misma mirada, los mismos pasos. Otra vez el pedestal, otra vez el diamante gigantesco, otra vez el cansancio que nubla el sentido (común), otra vez la fatalidad, otra vez los ojos incrédulos, la cara desencajada, los brazos que no llegan nunca. Los segundos que se hacen siglos. - Clin…clin…clin…clin… Clon! La incredulidad inicial cede ante una carcajada que resuena por encima del estruendoso silencio.
