Pe un teren neobişnuit de mare, cu ieşire la două străzi, amplasat într-o zonă centrală cu specific preponderent rezidenţial din Bucureşti, centrul se integrează firesc în context; se ancorează la cele două străzi şi la vecinătăţi cu corpurile de diagnostic şi administrativ, respectiv terapeutic, în timp ce corpul destinat educaţiei se desfăşoară pe axul interior printr-o mişcare care creează curţi şi retrageri nuanţate, necesare activităţilor specifice programului. Bazat pe un concept simplu şi clar, proiectul urmează principiile teoriei design-ului senzorial: planuri curate, limite clare, lumină naturală controlată, zgomot redus, spaţii hipo-senzitive şi hiper-senzitive, camere retrase, spaţii de stimulare scăzută sau crescută, etc. Volumetria fără excese şi expresia reţinută completează impresia de armonie dintre temă şi loc.
On an unusually large land, facing two streets, located in a central, mainly residential area in Bucharest, the center is naturally integrated into the context; it is anchored to the two streets and to the neighborhoods by the diagnostic and administrative, respectively therapeutically buildings, while the body for education unfolds on the inner axis through a movement that creates courts and nuanced withdrawals, necessary for the activities specific to the program. Based on a simple and clear concept, the project follows the principles of sensory design theory: clean layouts, clear boundaries, controlled natural light, reduced noise, hypo-sensory and hyper-sensitive spaces, retreat rooms, low-stimulus or high-stimulus spaces, and so on. The volumetry without excesses and the retained expression adds to the impression of harmony between subject and place.
