For 2014, and following the trend of recent years, we are planning the construction of two new hotels in Barcelona: the H10 Art Gallery, very close to the Passeig de Gràcia, and the H10 Rambla Catalunya, only a few meters’ distance from Plaça Catalunya.

Cuando tenĂ­a 10 aĂąos, sus padres se divorciaron y se mudĂł con su madre y sus hermanos al barrio Silver Lake de Los Ă ngeles, donde pasĂł una infancia feliz pero en ocasiones dura por la falta de recursos econĂłmicos.

Entonces, un representante se interesĂł por ella y se pasĂł todo el verano de casting en casting sin ningĂşn ĂŠxito, hasta que consiguiĂł el papel para la que serĂ­a su primera pelĂ­cula: Los chicos del maĂ­z 5. Campos de terror. “ComprendĂ­ que era una actriz malĂ­sima, pero que me encantaba esta profesiĂłnâ€?, opina.

Su oportunidad llegĂł en 2001 con DĂ­a de entrenamiento, donde interpretĂł a la novia de Denzel Washington, con la que consiguiĂł una nominaciĂłn en los Premios Alma a la Mejor Actriz de Reparto. No serĂ­a hasta 2005 cuando obtuvo su primer galardĂłn: el Capri-Kimbo en el Festival de Cine de Capri. Una treintena de pelĂ­culas completan su filmografĂ­a; tambiĂŠn ha dirigido y escrito el cortometraje California Romanza en 2011, ademĂĄs de producir la cinta Live! Y es que ella experimenta en todos los campos.

ENTREGADA A SU TRABAJO Eva Mendes ha coincidido en dos ocasiones con Will Smith. En 1998 participĂł en el videoclip de la canciĂłn Miami y en 2005 protagonizaron Hitch: especialista en ligues. La latina siempre lo da todo por sus personajes. Para meterse en la piel de Romina, el papel que interpreta en Cruce de caminos, perdiĂł siete kilos y trabajĂł un dĂ­a de camarera para comprender su entorno por completo. La base del jardĂ­n vertical es una estructura metĂĄlica separada de la pared del edificio que evita la humedad y crea una especie de cĂĄmara de aire para que las plantas respiren. The basis of a vertical garden is a metallic structure separated from the building´s wall, avoiding humidity and creating a sort of air chamber that allows plants to breathe. There is also a PVC support panel and felt layers which hold the plants´ roots. It is also a network of pipes with spraying nozzles, fed by a water pump and nutrients in charge of irrigating the whole garden.

InscribiĂł la patente en 1988 como Mur VĂŠgĂŠtal (Pared verde), y su primera creaciĂłn aplaudida por el pĂşblico fue presentada en 1994 en el Festival del JardĂ­n de Chaumont-sur-Loire, el evento sobre paisajismo mĂĄs influyente. A French botanist and landscaper (Paris, 1953), he works for the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), where he specializes in tropical undergrowth plants, although he is known worldwide for inventing vertical gardens. He registered the patent in 1988 as `Mur VÊgÊtal´ (Green Wall), and his first creation to gain recognition from the public was in 1994, during the `Festival del Jardín de Chaumont-sur-Loire´, the most influential landscape fair. Since then, his influence and fine art have travelled the five continents, creating a healthier space in the hearts of cities.

Any adventurous spirit takes this as an opportunity to practice aquatic sports. The target? To attain freedom, release adrenaline and dive into the sea to forget one’s daily routine.

Practicing windsurf requires some preliminary lessons to know how to coordinate the sail with the help of winds. It is a very comprehensive sport, because it increases the body balance, strengthens the arms, the gluteus, the legs and the abdominal muscles, although it is not recommended for those suffering from backache, because the back is the area bearing most of the load.

On the other hand, snorkelling (diving without oxygen cartridges) has become one of the most popular sports in recent years, because it allows one to explore the seabed with only the help of fins, a breather tube and glasses. Snorkelling increases the capacity of one’s lungs and teaches one how to control breathing, while also strengthening arms and legs. When submerging in shallow and calm waters – and on sunny days – there is more visibility. On the other hand, rowing a kayak is faster and requires some ability and enough balance to overcome any wave.
