Hippodrome in Kyiv

In the place of the old hippodrome in Kyiv, that was built in 1962-69, is designed the new one. A new function is being added to the building - large entertaiment zone. The aim was to design building that can be used not only for watching the racecourse. For that all comunication and restaurant is placed in one block, that allows to use building even if stands are closed. Hippodrome is designed for 3200 viewers.

Cardboard Workshop
creation a pavillion from cardboard team-work
During workshop, several teams explored the features of cardboard, its strength, how it works in different structures. As a result, our team created a pavilion from 67 triangle module, which we recreated in natural size on the SienceExpo in Kyiv.

Memorial in Hmilnik
student project by the request of main architect of Hmilnik
In memory of the people, who died during Holodomor 1932-33 in Ukraine this memorial complex was designed. It consists of “cemetery” area, where citizens can honor the memory of victims who were never been buried during that horror times; and “mound” area, stepping in which visitors can get more close experience to the soil and its force and vitality. It gives us source for living and in it we come back after death.
