Welcome to FXU Activities! From Rugby to Quidditch, Debating to Meditation, Volunteering to Fundraising, and even Green Living, the FXU Activities office has something for you! Your time at university is not entirely about your studies. It’s also about the experience you get outside the lecture theatre. Some of you will have come to university with sports and hobbies, keen to volunteer and fundraise or have a passion for sustainable living, and some of you will be starting anew. But no matter which bracket you fall under, there are plenty of activities for you to get involved in! Over the course of my degree, I took part in many of the activities on offer, and these truly made my university career a brilliant one. By taking part you develop yourself personally, help your mental wellbeing, give yourself skills employers look for and it’s often where you make some of the best friends you will have during your time here. So what’s stopping you?? Have a rummage through this directory to help you find activities that appeal to you! Promise yourself you will join at least one, you will not regret it. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, pop by the FXU and we can help you to get it going. All in all, make sure you make the most of each of your years in Cornwall, and have a fantastic time!
