Job desc: Junior Interior Designer
HLM Architects
Project: Luxury retirement village in Milton Keynes.
My role: Visualization.
Software used: ArchiCad & Twinmotion (with path tracer).
I had the opportunity to be involved in this project quite late in its development. I was tasked to translate a rough Photoshop sketch into a 3D visual for review using Twinmotion. This project has allowed me to explore new rendering software and further strengthen my visualization skills.

Zoning - layout - circulation
Aside from doing visuals, I was tasked with creating different layout iterations to mostly office spaces, taking into account zoning and circulation. All furniture shown have been modeled / sized accordingly to match with dimensions listed by the manufacturer.

Given the smaller size of the design firm, I was able to contribute more to the project and be more involved with the process. This project has given me experience to work with clients first hand, complete a scheme from start to finish, and work collaboratively with the interiors team.

Project: Proposed seafood restaurant

Project: OASIS is a conceptual Indonesian seafood restaurant located in Sheffield train station.
The existing ground level is to be lowered by 2M to make it level with the train tracks, creating more vertical space.
Project: oasis final year project
More emphasis was put on detail for this final project. Planning was very important to maximize space use and making it as efficient as possible. Simple construction diagrams were created to illustrate how different parts go together.
The brief for this project was to create an original design loosely based on early concept ideas and make it our own. The approach was to create a coworking space for employees with an atrium for group activities. The space is open to the public for food & beverages after office hours.
