October 20th & 27th - LS Choirs sang the “National Anthem” at a Varsity football game & Pep Rally November 10th - Choir department sang at the NRH Veterans Day Celebration at City Hall November 17th - Grandparents Day Highlights include: PK singing “This Little Light of Mine”, K continued the tradition and played “Blessed Assurance” on the bells, 1 & 2 grades combined to sing “Sing”, 3/4/5 grades combined to sing “What A Wonderful World”, ALL Choir combined to sing “God Bless the USA” November 30th - Choirs performed at Christmas Cafe highlights include: 5th Grade Choir singing “Jingle Bells”, Honor Choir singing “A Perfect Winter Day”, MS Choir sang “Holly Jolly Christmas” and even played kazoos, Mixed Choir sang “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and All choirs combined to sing “Silent Night” to close the choir block December 15th - MS Choir sang at LS chapel

November 11th - Select 5th & 6th Grade Choir members represented FWC at the TPSMEA North Children’s Honor Choir Concert 7th Grade Choir member, Alexis Kelly, made history and became the first FWC choir member to audition for and make the TPSMEA North MS Honor Choir

Cardinal Belles

Your award-winning Cardinal Belles enjoyed a successful football season in the second quarter of the school year! The Belles shared the floor with many special guests, including Cardinal Belle of the Day Hattie Smith, who joined the Belles on the pep rally floor and football field, and the incredible drill team dads made their annual appearance on Senior Night! The Belles honored seven seniors for their hard work and dedication to the team. In addition to the Friday Night Lights, these dancers have enjoyed their new practice equipment generously donated during last year’s auction (ballet barres and mirrors). Finally, these ladies kicked off the holiday season with a festive performance at the Fine Arts Christmas Café!

These dancers have worked hard this quarter and are looking forward to the exciting events in the 2024 semester, including competition, basketball season, and Spring Show!

Cardinal Guard

FWC Cardinal Guard was awarded Outstanding Colorguard at the TPSMEA State Marching Contest for their performance in the marching show Aurora!

So proud of our fall marching guard members and all their hard work to perform their show so beautifully this season!

We concluded marching season celebrating our Senior Guard Members!!!

The Cardinal Guard is preparing for the Winterguard competition season with December choreo clinics! Their indoor show will feature the swing music of Michael Bublé! Winterguard will compete at 3 shows locally with North Texas Colorguard Assoc., as well as at State and National Championships with Marching Auxiliaries! The Winterguard will also be traveling to compete in the Winter Park Festival in Colorado in April!

FWC Cardinal Guard hosted our 1st Community Spin Clinic in November! 21 students & directors from 5 schools enjoyed an amazing day of dancing, spinning, and learning on campus!
