#101 4 U ADVENTURE CAMP I (4-year-olds, Pre-K only) June 5–16 8:30–11:30 a.m. $275 #102 4 U ADVENTURE CAMP II (4-year-olds, Pre-K only) June 5–16 12:30–3:30 p.m. $275 A barrel of fun just for 4-year-olds! Experienced FWCD primary teachers lead students in crafts, poems, stories and songs centered on a farm theme. Children learn about many different animals as they play and create through a variety of fun and educational projects. Camp I and Camp II offer the same curriculum. Enrollment is limited. Students must be 4 prior to June 5, 2017. Instructor: Sheri Fuller, FWCD FirstGrade Teacher. Location: Butler Kindergarten Building, Room 108.

Kindergarten Science Camp is a special program that uses curriculum based on the Great Explorations in Math and Science (GEMS) research program from the University of California, Berkeley. Children explore the world of science with all the fun of summer camp! Camp I and Camp II offer the same curriculum. The activities are focused around four thematic units: “Up in a Tree” and “Ladybug Fly Away Home” for week one; the second week focuses on “Buzzing a Hive” and “Ant Homes Underground.” Science concepts of ecology, life cycles and animal social behavior are explored through exciting stories, active role-playing and creative projects. Instructor: Barbara Meyers, FWCD Lower School Science Teacher. Location: Butler Kindergarten Building, Room 103. #105 STEM!: SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATH FOR KIDS (Grades K–2) June 19–23 9 a.m.–noon $265 In this weeklong course, students engage, build, construct and create. Each day, students investigate, brainstorm, plan stages, build, test and present their projects. Teams work together and learn cooperative learning structures as they make their fun, inventive projects. Instructor: Lisa Davenport, FWCD Kindergarten Teacher.
