Mark Adams Successful Entrepreneur Mark Adams holds a B.B.A degree in Marketing from Texas State University. When Mark Adams, co-founder of Sozo Global, Inc. started his career – he hit the ground running, and has yet to slow down. Within such Fortune 500 companies as Xerox and Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Adams established himself as a top sales producer early in his career.

He then spent the next 12 years of at Bostik Adhesives where he served in senior management, sales, and strategic business development roles on an international scale.

In 1997, Mark Adams then served as served as Global Sales Director for Bostik and General Manager of Bostik’s joint venture company, Nitta-Findley in Osaka, Japan and later purchased a minority interest in Ward Adhesives, Inc., and served as General Manager, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. While in these roles, Mark Adams led the company to unprecedented growth in sales and net income.

Mark Adams moved on to a more entrepreneurial role and is the founder of Advocate, MD Financial Group, Inc., a leading Texas-based medical liability insurance holding company, and currently serves as its chairman, president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Adams also serves as chairman of the board of Advocate, MD Insurance of the Southwest, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

Mark Adams is also a founding partner in several other companies including the Endowment Development Group, a Houston- based life insurance company specializing in placing large multi-million dollar life insurance policies throughout the U.S. market. Mark Adams also co-founded the Murphy Adams Restaurant Group in 2007, which owns and operates Mama Fu’s, a successful Pan Asian restaurant chain with locations across the southeastern United States.

In 2009, Mark Adams founded Sozo Global, Inc., - a fast growing direct sales nutritional products company. Sozo Global is a company that focuses on health and well-being, with a proprietary product derived from the Coffee Berry. Mark Adam’s role with Sozo Global has positioned them as a very successful direct sales company, which in turn has earned them a membership with the Direct Selling Association.

As a testament to his ingenuity, Mark Adams was named the winner of the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Central Texas in 2008.

Additionally, Mark Adams is an advisory board member for the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University r. He also serves as director for X-Pel, Inc., KLD Energy Technologies, Powerstations, LLC, School U, LLC, Monitium, LLC and Affordable Housing Development Fund, and as a manager of Belize Grocery, LLC, Belize Casino Village, LLC, and Top Partners, LLC.

Mark Adams also serves as chief executive officer of ETMG (Employers Test Management Group), LLC. Mr. Adams holds a B.B.A degree in Marketing from Texas State University and currently serves on the board of directors of five organizations including privately held and non-profit organizations.
