RUMOUR CONTROL Though it’s confirmed for the ‘other’ console, CD Projekt Red is being coy about bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to PS5, though we’d bet one of our spare augmented right arms it’ll end up on Sony’s new console. It’s hard to imagine Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s avengers won’t be heading to PS5 given the game is planned as a multi-year event. We may start Ms Marvel’s adventure on PS4 but we doubt it will end there. Similarly Ubisoft’s Beyond good and evil 2 looks far too ambitious to be confined to the limitations of current-gen hardware. This galaxy-spanning RPG takes the notion of ‘open world’ gaming very literally; you can venture to many open worlds with your monkey crew.
