A blast from the past here we take a look at anti flag which is one of The Pioneers and punk rock music growing up in listening to punk rock anti flag has always been one of those groups that have been in my albums to listen to they always stood up for freedom and for justice beliefs to be honest anti flag is one of those bands that go into history the mark its spot in the punk rock world.
To see the lease it‘s very shocking to know that such a great band is breaking up and it‘s not for any typical reason it‘s actually more of a controversial reason. Let‘s take the breakdown on what‘s happening and a little bit of their history.
American punk rock activist group Anti-Flag has broken up. On July 19, 2023, AntiFlag shocked their fans and the broader world by announcing their breakup on Patreon.
The group did not discuss the reasons for their breakup.
Anti-Flag is no more. Claims of sexual assault In an explosive podcast interview, a lady called Kristina Sarhadi accused the „lead singer“ of Anti-Flag of sexual assault. Netizens believe Sarhadi is referring to Anti-Flag‘s main vocalist, Justin Sane, even though the therapist and social worker merely used the term „lead singer“ and did not identify any names.
So yet, Anti-Flag has said nothing in response to Kristina Sarhadi‘s allegations.
Roots of Anti-Flag Attitudes
American punk rock band Anti-Flag were noted for their socially aware and politically driven songs. In 1988, Justin Sane (vocals/ guitar) and Pat Thetic (drums) got together in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and created the band. Although the band‘s roster has changed multiple times over the years, Justin Sane and Pat Thetic have been constants.
Anti-Flag established a devoted fanbase among punks with the publication

of their 1996 EP „Die for the Government“ and numerous more self-released albums and EPs. War, imperialism, corporate greed, injustice, and social justice are common themes in their songs.
A-F Records signed Anti-Flag in 1998, and the band released their album „Their System Doesn‘t Work for You,“ further solidifying their status as a politically driven punk band. They continued to gain popularity and notoriety on a global scale with the publication of albums like „A New Kind of Army“ (1999) and „Underground Network“ (2001) in the years that followed.
In 2003, Anti-Flag joined forces with RCA Records and released their first full-length, „The Terror State.“ They felt the big label atmosphere didn‘t mesh with their values and DIY mentality, so they left and reverted to their independent beginnings.
Anti-Flag released albums
and went on extended tours throughout the 2000s and 2010s, all the while championing social justice, progressive causes, and speaking out against injustice wherever they saw it. During this time, they released many critically acclaimed albums, including „For Blood and Empire“ (2006), „The People or the Gun“ (2009), and „American Spring“ (2015).
The music of Anti-Flag has frequently found common cause with political and social movements such as anti-war demonstrations, LGBTQ+ rights campaigns, and environmental reasons. They have been vocal opponents of the foreign policies of the United States government and have given money to groups like Amnesty International and Greenpeace.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT
As a popular punk heavyweight for the previous three decades, The Offspring’s latest album, Let The Bad Times Roll, may come as a surprise to many of their fans. The strength of their back catalog is largely responsible for this, since it contains songs that are both classics and evocative of their respective eras. Any rock fan worth their ratty T-shirt is familiar with Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) and Come Out and Play, with its spring-loaded comedy and weird Eastern-inflected riff, respectively. Punk music saw a renaissance in the 1990s, and many consider albums like Kill the President and Get it Right to be turning points in the genre’s history.
As a matter of fact, the Offspring may trace their roots back far further than that. Manic Subsidal, a band established in 1984, overcame being named the “worst band” in a high school talent event to hit it big with their third studio album “Smash” 10 years later. Lead singer/scientist Dexter Holland and guitarist Kevin ‘Noodles’ Wasserman have been the only constants in the band from its inception. Greg K, the band’s first bassist, resigned in 2018 and was replaced by Todd Morse, while Pete Parada is the band’s fourth drummer. The Offspring have never strayed from their core qualities of enormous energy, acute humor, and emotional honesty, which makes them just as listenable and likeable now as they were when they were angry young men.
in Kids arent alright offspring making a song about not liking their hometowns, this unusually gloomy Americana track goes more into the misery of small-town suburbia than almost any of The Offspring’s peers have.
Dexter’s old friends are portrayed as having a drug addiction, car accident, or nervous breakdown in the film, and we wonder, along with the singer, “How can one little street take so many lives?” In the years since they, too, must deal with the traumas of youth whose clean edges are worn away by the ever-swirling sands of time, The Kids Aren’t Alright has had the greatest impact on The Offspring’s fanbase.
another best song that has come to light is A straight-faced blast from the heart from The Offspring, Gone Away is their strongest work. Dealing with the memory of Dexter’s girlfriend, who died in a car accident, there is a pain and openness here that is above and beyond. ‘Heaven’s so far away / And it stings / Yeah it stings now / The world is so cold / Now that you’ve gone away. another classic is Keeping in mind that “the institution of parental discretion is supposed to clean out any sense of innuendo or sarcasm from the lyrics that might make you think” is the tongue-in-cheek Disclaimer on Ixnay On The Hombre , featuring former Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra. The Offspring’s The Meaning Of Life, released shortly afterwards, demonstrates that they adhere strongly to the “if it offends you, just don’t listen to it” philosophy. It’s one of their most expansive and (suitably) positive compositions, propelled by high-octane riffs and bursts of whoa-oh-ohs. With a supercharged wheelchair racing across the desert and a monkey dangling from a tree with Dexter, the music video directed by Kevin Kerslake is a fantastic complement to the song.
A MUST SEE MOVIE FOR ALL AGES
Due to Barbie’s enormous popularity, many people are eager to see this movie so that they can relive fond memories and appreciate the lasting impact Barbie has made.

The movie’s apparent driving force Who could have guessed that the most anticipated film of the summer would revolve around the iconic doll Barbie?
Margot: a lot of pink, a lot of pink Barbie Land is where I met the starstudded cast, and we were in no risk of a water mishap, so safe look at that look at that exactly I’m completely fine you’re like Chris Angel or something.
anyway, I’m not exactly a water ninja. Barbie and Ken, the iconic dolls that have ruled the world of children for 60 years, are played by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in the new film “Baby Driver.” “Can I come to your house tonight sure I don’t have anything big planned just a giant blowout party with all the barbies and planned choreography and a bespoke song you should stop by?”
Many individuals around the world adore Barbie, but some don’t. How did you determine which people fell into which camp?
I think that’s what made this project so exciting, and why we wanted to make a Barbie movie in the first place; not only is Barbie a household name around the world, but the prospect of having audiences’ preconceived notions about the film’s protagonist color their experience of it with equal parts trepidation and anticipation.
To what extent did Barbie play a role in your formative years?
The way my children play with their barbies is really involved—they give them names other than “Barbie,” they give them elaborate backstories, and they even wash their hair and dress them up. I have to admit, I was never a Barbie boy.
Given the variety of roles you’ve performed, did you find yourself hesitant to work with Oscar-nominated filmmaker Greta Gerwig on this film, which is known for its bold visuals and message that challenges stereotypes

with Greta and Margo was just too amazing to pass up. My reluctance stemmed from my uncertainty about my own strength, but I knew I had
to put my faith in them anyhow. To what extent did the true narrative of men and women in your position and authority inspire you to create this film? This is why I insisted Greta take this action.
movie I believe that in the hands of most other people, a film like “Barbie: The Movie” would stay superficial; however, I anticipated that Greta would have much to say and would act as a “trojan horse” for many serious themes inside an otherwise lighthearted setting.
I mean, it’s great to see the barbies, but it’s also interesting to see how the manufacturers framed the scene in their advertisements. I guess it’s not ideal to play a supporting role.

As I was driving here, I was thinking about how much of an emotional investment we all have in Barbie because she has always served as a blank canvas onto which we have projected our hopes and dreams and because she has been and continues to be a best friend to so many people—including me, even though I despised humans as a child.
It’s not only that the movie is surprising; when I saw this script, I thought, “This is genius, and they’re never going to let us make it.” I feel like Greta pushes it in ways I didn’t think they’d let us, and a huge part of it was recognizing the things that viewers find troubling about Bobby and the things that viewers find endearing about Barbie.
and to be able to do both while also having a conversation about where the world is at the moment and then also being acknowledging like this long 60-plus year history it’s just a lot of things to do at once and she does it so deftly and ultimately the whole experience is still fun like it’s just so fun and weirdly emotional and at the end of it all you’re not even really thinking about a doll. Honestly, I didn’t think we’d be able to make it because the Mattel CEO is a main character and Mattel itself is a character; I didn’t think they’d agree to this, and there were a lot of jokes in there that I didn’t think we’d get away with. but they did, and that’s the brilliance of it; I didn’t have a particularly strong reaction to Barbie as a kid, and I didn’t feel like I belonged in the Barbie universe. But when Greta said she wanted me to read the script, I said yes, of course, because Greta and Margot are so smart and interesting and have incredible points of view. They took Barbie and discussed the pros and cons of her cultural impact, including how she began as a revolution but has since lost some of her initial revolutionary
fervor, and how to update her for the modern era so that she continues to serve as an inspiration to young women who may not have seen themselves reflected in her as a role model.
How would you define ken?
It’s funny because when we were prepping for this movie, two of our wonderful producers, one of whom is also my husband, would start talking about like Bitcoin or something like Greta and I’d be like they’re being such cans they talk about golf we’re like stop being cans so it’s hard to define what takes a can but it can also be they can also be big can energy and that’s a good thing whereas Ryan says kenergy kenergy
I think Ken is just kind of there for me, you know I think it’s a great accessory but that’s what I loved about you know right as imagining of barbies that the cans are just supplemental care just to these barbies what barbies can do everything cancer there to kind of support and don’t necessarily have their own story and I think that’s not necessarily a negative thing I think it’s incredibly strong for men to be in supportive roles and to support the greatness that
Ever be charged or that you know you got to just let the kids go at it and kind of define it let them beach it all out there are no beaches and beaches all beach offs I think that yeah I think you should ask Ken this honestly because I was the president was a little too busy to deal with that in particular what are the most pressing problems that President Barbie is facing right now is perfect so it’s really just
maintaining the order of perfection the compliments are absolutely perfect.
I didn’t, but I saw my sister and her friends do some stuff with those barbies, and I think we all did; they’re just imagination, and a way of expressing your inner desires and things that you’re exploring about yourself and the world; they’re like a very it’s a good tool for children to have; and you guys are so funny, it was also a ton of aggression too, like my sister had a Barbie that was my size, and I don’t know what that’s around my size You know, instead of a small you know that existed, there was a literals your size Barbie, and it was just like, instead of being lonely because she had no friends, she could use it as aggression because everyone else was miniature. Speaking of humans being weird, that’s something we said at the beginning, and by the way, we’re like, I think that’s why we’re so weird. They told the doll-makers, “We made it, but it’s not our fault; it’s a doll’s fault.” The doll-makers then became angry and yelled, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, we’re not going oh here are the things that we should do better in the world.”

for the shoes so they would come off so that I could get my feet out of them and I was holding on to like a bar but that’s it I wasn’t like a harness or anything like that I just like walked up kind of held on to the bar above camera stepped down wow yeah and you were a dancer right I did ballet when I was a kid so but i i i hate it i i always try and do my own inserts like i don’t like when i watch a movie and i know it’s not my hands i hate that so much i always say the director like please let me do all my own things i don’t i don’t like knowing that i didn’t do it
Greta Gerwig, the director and co-writer of Barbie, linked Barbie and Ken to Adam and Eve. “Barbie was the first,” she said. “Ken was created after Barbie in order to strengthen Barbie’s position in our eyes and in the world.” That type of origin narrative is diametrically opposed to the Genesis creation tale.” The passage drew notice in part because Gerwig has previously explored theological issues in her writing, most notably in Lady Bird, in which Sister Sarah Joan seeks advice from philosopher and mystic Simone Weil. The Genesis parallel, on the other hand, seems like a joke, at least when made to plastic dolls. According to the Bible, God creates Adam from the dust of the earth, then knocks him out, removes his rib, and turns it into Eve, the first woman. They dwell in the Garden of Eden, a wonderful world. While it isn’t technically the tale of Barbie — a lovely and frequently gaspingly funny film, by the way — Gerwig wasn’t joking when she mentioned the creation myth in the Vogue interview. Barbie is a remarkably insightful exploration of one interpretation of the text and its meaning, as well as the significance of Barbies as cultural

objects, the gender battles, and feminism in general. You know, the usual blockbuster fare. The Barbie brand isn’t the kind to be explored in cinema or philosophy. However, in the hands of Gerwig and Baumbach, it is as sneaky and subversive as a movie can be while still being produced by one of its targets (toy manufacturer Mattel, which the movie relentlessly tweaks over discontinued Barbies and Kens) and distributed by another (Warner Bros. Discovery, which gets one expertly barbed zinger). It’s like a candy store for movie buffs, with references to everything from the psychedelic dream ballets of the 1950s and ‘60s to Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey. If the movie does well financially, Mattel may attempt to replicate its success with other intellectual properties, but it’s hard to imagine that any of them will be as smart and not simply corporate pandering as Barbie.

ALBUM & STYLE
THE BARBIE MOVIE IS GREAT, AND ITS STAR-STUDDED SOUNDTRACK IS ALREADY POPULAR, BUT DOES BARBIE: THE ALBUM OFFER THE SUMMER’S BEST SONG?
BY RACHEL ANDREWS ■ PHOTOS BY GETTY IMAGES
THE ALBUM THAT MAKES YOU DANCE
What could be better than a movie about favoriteeveryone’s doll, complete with musi- cal numbers, dance fights, and a sung narration by Lizzo?
Lizzo’s portrayal of Barbie, who has always been more than a toy, sets the tone perfectly for Greta Gerwig’s comedy.
Unlike other types of film music, which often serve to set the tone or gener- ate hits for the film, the songs in musi- cals serve to further the story and explain the charac- ters’ feelings.
Barbie’s musical selections: There’s little doubt that songs like “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa and “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish will be radio staples and tear jerkers, re- spectively, on The Album.
The Barbie score enhances and pro- pels Greta Gerwig’s fascinating universe.
Ryan Gosling, who portrays “Just Ken,” shines brightlyparticularly during his rendition of “I’m Just Ken.”
It’s evident that Mark Ronson, who produced the origi- nal tracks, worked closely with Gerwig to include references to the doll and the issue surrounding Mattel.
They walk the tightrope between meta-commentary on selling out and in- novation with ease.
The soundtrack delivers the goods, including songs from Charli XCX, HAIM, Sam Smith, Ava Max, Tame Impala, Lizzo, and more. It also includes the songs “Barbie World” (performed by Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj), “What Was I Made For” (per- formed by Billie Eilish), “Dance the Night Away” (performed by Dua Lipa),
“Angel” (performed by PinkPantheress), and “I’m Just Ken” (performed by Ryan Gosling and Slash), all of which were released separately. Mark Ronson oversaw the production of everything.
While millennials and perhaps some Gen Zers may be too young to enjoy Ken, they can surely ap- preciate this soundtrack.

I play Madame leota who is the if you’ve been on the attraction she’s the woman trapped in the crystal ball at the beginning who says welcome foolish mortals into this ghost realm and she’s been trapped in there for very long time and she is released from it by this young medium who is what I would refer to as a Star Wars since Disney owns Star Wars a Star Wars connect the dot paduan learner young Harriet who is a medium yes and my character is learning how to tap into her powers she’s been playing a role of yes I can do this and she does have some powers and she’s very like boisterous about it but she’s not confident in it until she is guided by the great Madame leota who’s someone she’s looked up to for her whole life and when she loves it could to a kind of fashioning stuff and I just love that they bond together in this beautiful way of sisterhood
talk about your experiences with the theme park attraction prior to doing the film
well I’m the old person I’m older than everybody and I’ve clearly been to that park 40 times I’ve been on this attraction at least 40 times over many decades and there’s something magical about Disney there’s magic in the attractions there’s magic in the cast members the world outside of Disneyland is hard everybody works hard it’s a it’s a it’s a tough life for most people and what Walt Disney created this magical place for people to like forget their woes and walk into this magic Kingdom really still holds as it did back then it holds today yeah and for me I mean I just remember always wanting to get on the Haunted Mansion attraction because it was where there was most air conditioner also where you get to see the most magic I always wondered like how did they n

get that Lady is that in there is that a TV in there is there are they really using holograms like how did they get these things to float around like this like what are they doing this must be magic I wonder does Disney know God and they just do this stuff together I don’t know like I my imagination is off the chain especially when I was a kid because I didn’t understand how they was able to do this and at first I thought maybe it was real ghost in there and you know now I’m a little older I don’t necessarily believe in ghosts and all of that I do believe in demons though and they make me eat candy and I don’t want to but they make me anyways I love that right what attracted each of you to want to be in this film I simply was just thrilled to be able to play this iconic part that’s been part of this ride of for since 1969 I mean we I remember being a little kid seeing her inside that crystal ball so for me it was a no brainer I was thrilled and I got to with people like Tiffany and and Rosario and lekeith and Danny and Owen Justin made this incredible beautiful sets and costumes
so for me it was just very easy and for me it was I always always always wanted to be in something Disney but to be in Haunted Mansion is even better because that’s the right always go to I remember one time I went to Disneyland and the ride was broke down excuse me the attraction wasn’t working that day I was furious and me and my friends were trying to figure out how to break in we tried we got in trouble lesson learned never try to break in to a Disney attraction if they say it’s shut down it’s shut down you don’t want to sit in that office you do not want to sit in your office 15 down past that though and I wasn’t banned from the place so I’m glad lesson learned Man of the cloth there in New Orleans and he’s a little bit of a salesman where you’re not quite sure if everything he’s saying is accurate and what exactly his background is but he kind of helps put together the team that you know does battle with these ghosts my experience with the theme park attraction was zero I’ve never been on the ride but it it sounds like I’m making it but I’m going tonight and
I’m looking forward to seeing how it matches up to you know my memory of making the movie I think it was talking with Justin the director and just really kind of enjoying our conversations and you know is kind of how open he seemed to kind of coming up with stuff well it was great I think that’s going to be one of the pleasures hopefully for people seeing the movie is kind of all the you know the it’s a great cast that Justin put together and then you know for me personally working you know getting the chance to kind of work and become friends with Danny DeVito I really liked I think it was you know what Justin and this is kind of you know something that you kind of hope for with the director is that they kind of give you sort of a sense that you know that obviously they’re steering the ship but that they’re sort of supportive of you know ideas and open to things that you think might be able to make the scene better or have ideas themselves and so that’s how Justin was

I’m Natsume as MASKING on drums. Reo Kurachi as PAREO on keyboard. I’m Risa Tsumugi as CHU2 as DJ.
FUSION: Let’s start off with the first question; you are a female rock band, talk to me a little bit about your history how you formed as a group?
R.A.S: Raychell (Ba.&Vo.) : At the beginning of 2018, Natsume, Reo Kurachi and I formed a backing band in the Garupa Live and Garupa Party! at Tokyo Big Sight. Three of us created a temporary band, called, “THE THIRD (Beta),” as the third live-action music group in the franchise after Poppin’ Party and Roselia. When we started, we had a different support on guitar back then. Our first live
concert, known as “THE THIRD(Beta)” First Live, Kohara was introduced as the band’s permanent guitarist. For our Second live show, DJ Risa joined the band, and that’s when we became a five piece, and we formally renamed to, “RAISE A SUILEN.”
FUSION: How did you choose your band name?

Raychell (Ba.&Vo) Our band name, “RAISE A SUILEN” means, “The beautiful, natural bamboo roller blinds that are used as an interior item at the temple or shrine to adjust the lighting and keep the privacy (Mi-su).” Then when we roll up the bamboo blind, we show ourselves up front to the world. Our career started as a backing band, so we wanted the meaning of the name to mean that we came from the
back of the stage, to the front of the stage.
FUSION: Can you talk about some of your influences? I’m sure each member has different tastes in music; can you share some of your influences and what kind of music you listen to?
Riko(Gt.): I’ve been inspired by many vocalists. I like listening to many different songs by

those vocalists; in particular, I listen to Miku Hatsune often.
Risa (DJ) : I had never done live performances before this band. There was a producer when I started this band, RAS, and he advised me to watch and learn from a band called “Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas,” for their stage performance. I often watched that band and they inspired me a lot, and I really respect what
they do. Raychell (Ba.&Vo.): I originally debuted as a solo singer. I liked listening to R&B at the time, like Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Alicia Key and many other artists. I had never sung rock music before, but now I sing rock songs! My singing style has ballads at the roots. Now, we’ve become, “RAISE A SUILEN,” and I sing rock music in this band. I sing with a powerful and

strong vocal style. I am also a bass vocalist; I watched and learned from “Suzi Quatro” how to sing better.
Natsume (Dr.): I started playing the drums when I was in high school. First of all, I didn’t often listen to songs from overseas, but I was shocked when I heard Marylin Mason’s music. From that point, I started listening to heavy music like heavy metal and rock. I like listening to Mötley Crüe, KISS and Megadeth. In particular, who inspired me the most as a drummer was Tommy Lee from Mötley Crüe.
Reo (key): As a keyboardist, I was inspired by Minami from Las Vegas and Masayuki Hiizumi. I watched and learned from their performances many times.
FUSION: What are some of your inspirations, and what keeps you motivated as music artists?
Reo(Key.): Each member of RAISE A SUILEN has a role of character, and we are getting inspiration from our different characters. Our characters are in a game called Galiver; in the game, our characters play out different stories, so we also get inspired from the game setting. Our songs are provided to us from Elements
Garden. Elements Garden produces various versions of songs and there is more inspiration and new song ideas coming from within us. We put these inspirations and different styles into our performance on stage.
Natsume (Dr.): Personally, I think live performances are significant for me. Everytime we receive a new song, we create a new style of performance. So I always watch many other artists’ performances. I keep motivating myself to learn and train from other artists.
Raychell (Ba.&Vo.): I always think about what RAISE A SUILEN’s performance is like at live shows. I think about how my character, LAYER, would sing and perform with a new song on stage. I also imagine how our audience will react towards new songs, and that’s how I stay motivated at the concerts.
Risa (DJ): My biggest motivation is performing our live concerts. The time period of the pandemic restrictions was so long, and at that time, the audience couldn’t use their voices. Recently, the conditions have returned to normal. A few weeks ago, we had a live performance and the audience did a call and response during our concert.
Riko(Gt.) : My motivation is putting my love into the songs. Not only the band, but also loving our songs is what keeps me motivated.
FUSION: Can you talk about the challenges that you all face together as a group, and how you overcome those challenges?
Raychell (Ba.&Vo.): We currently participate in a band project called Poppin’Party, and there are seven bands currently, and more new bands sometimes get added to the band project. We think about who we are and what we like when we see the new bands coming in. When we think about what makes us unique; we do headbanging and foot stomping, and we perform in a physically aggressive way. Our challenge is how we can keep progressing as a rock band with each new song.
FUSION: If there is one concert venue that you would like to perform, which would it be and why?
Natsume (Dr.) : We would love to have a performance at Tokyo Dome and we also want to go abroad again!
FUSION: You are now working on new music, can you talk a little bit about the new release?
Risa (DJ) : We are about to release our 11th single. We’ve been releasing standard rock songs with RAISE A SUILEN, but this 11th single sounds like we go back to the origin of RAISE A SUILEN, with a hard rock song. I also sang the rap part of this song. It was the fastest we’ve made a song. Check it out!
FUSION: You’ve been on tours around the world before, but more specifically, you’ve traveled to Los Angeles in the past. How was your experience, and what do you look forward to when you’re overseas?
Riko(Gt.) : We went to Los Angeles around 2018 or 2019. It was the first time for us to see the reaction of the audience in LA. At the time, we were still starting as a band, so we were nervous to see the audience’s reaction. The fans’ reactions were very good, and we made so many fun memories with them. We want to go back to LA again if we have the opportunity.
FUSION: Can we expect you to do another tour in America this year or maybe next year?
Reo(Key): YES! We really want to do a world tour!! Not only one place, but we also we to go to many places! We are looking forward to seeing all the fans on the North American tour!
FUSION: What was the best concert you’ve seen, and why?
At RO-KYU-BU!’s final live show. RO-KYU-BU! was a unit made up of cartoon characters that sang and danced like us. I had a memorable experience at their final live show at Saitama Super Arena.
Natsume(Dr.) I like Mötley Crüe. I went to Saitama Super Arena to watch their performance when they came to Japan. Tommy Lee played the drums, turning around 360 degrees while he performed. But at the time, his performance was stopped suddenly, so I would love to go see him perform again! I’ve also never seen Marilyn Manson’s concert, so I want to see him perform, too!
Raychell (Ba.&Vo.) : Last year, Lady Gaga came to Japan to do her tour at Seibu Dome. I went to see her live and I was very impressed.
FUSION: How would you go about energizing a tired audience?
Risa (DJ): Our music helps fans forget their tiredness! Raychell tells fans, “your heads are still attached to your necks, you need to do more headbanging, trying to go home with a sore neck!” If someone told you that, you would forget if you were tired! Our concerts are meant for those who feel particulary tired. Please come and see our performance and get energized again!
FUSION: Question 15: What’s the best show or tour you’ve ever played, and why was it so special to you?
Raychell (Ba.&Vo.): Our memorial special stage was when we performed at Nippon Budokan. There was a full audience and we played our live performance in the middle of the stadium. We have released many new songs since we last played a Nippon Budokan concert, so we would like to go back again and have a performance including those new songs.
With the 11th single, we return to the roots of RAISE A SUILEN with a strong rock tune. I also performed the rap portion of this tune. It was the quickest song we’d ever written.
FUSION: What are some of your favorite songs to play live?
Riko (Gt.): I have one song that is great to play live, it’s a favorite of both fans and band members. The song is, “Shakunetsu Bonfire!” We have a particular movement for this song. I have the impression that our fans who come and watch our shows might wanna physically move with our songs. We feel our fan’s passion to dance along with the songs, and we also enjoy performing this song.
FUSION: What’s next for the band?
Raychell(Ba.&Vo.): What’s next is that we wanna keep having many more live performances. Our first single is, “R·I·O·T ‘’ and there are some lyrics that go “we possess the world.” We wanna keep flying around the world and have many performances in many countries.
FUSION: In America, many groups like to collaborate together to make music. Are there any chances that you would like to collaborate with other musicians in America, and if
Natsume (Dr.): RAISE A SUILEN is a rock band, but we have a DJ in the band as well. We play our songs with DJ elements. If we have the opportunity, we respect him a lot and would love to collaborate with Zedd!!! We would like our CHU2 and Zedd to make a remix together and have a performance on stage together!
FUSION: How can fans stay up-todate with the band’s activities?
Raychell (Ba.&Vo.): We have our own official website, Instagram, Twitter, and social media accounts, so please follow us on any of those platforms. Each of us also has personal social media accounts. You will get a lot of updates and new information about us from there.
FUSION: You are the featured artist that will decorate the front cover of Fusion for July’s issue! How do you feel about that, and what do you want viewers and fans that are reading this to get out of it?
THE NEW SINGLE NEW SINGLE”N-E-M-E-S-I-S,” IS OUT NOW FOR ALL FANS OF ROCK THIS IS ONE SONG YOU SHOULD BE CHECKING OUT NOW RAISE A SUILEN IS A PROMISING BAND FROM JAPAN WITH MUSIC THAT IS FIRE!!!
issue! How do you feel about that, and what do you want viewers and fans that are reading this to get out of it?
Risa (DJ) : We are so honored to be appearing on the front cover of Fusion magazine! Fusion magazine is not Japanese, it is an American magazine. I don’t think everyone gets to be on the front cover of a magazine in America. We are very honored to be on the cover and personally, July is my birthday month. Capturing us on the front cover of Fusion would be the best birthday gift for me!
FUSION: What message do you want to deliver to all the fans that are reading and watching this?
Raychell (Ba.&Vo.): There will be more people knowing about RAISE A SUILEN through Fusion magazine. Our appearance is between cute and cool, but our music is heavy rock. Please listen to our music and come and watch us perform live on the stage. We would love to see everyone there. We are going to break down the wall and deliver our songs to the world! Please connect with us through our music! We also released our new single”NE-M-E-S-I-S,” on June 28th, along with English versions of, “EXPOSE ‘Burn out!!!,” and, “Takin’ my Heart.” We put our heart into it, please check it out!!
so who would this artist be?
NOTES
FROM THE EDITOR
Working with these musicians, in my opinion, was an honor. I got the chance to chat with each and every one of them, and I can assure you that they are an up-and-coming band that you should absolutely give a chance to hear. If you listen to their new song, “N-E-M-E-S-I-S,” you can get a good idea of what they sound like.
This new song has inspired me, and I’ve been playing it over and over again. What I like about it is that you can hear the heart rock slash metal melodies, and at the same time you have a great lead singer who sings the song very well. Not only that, but you also have fast hip hop vocals. It brought back memories and histologic of when I used to go to heart rock concerts in Los Angeles.
This is one of those songs that you absolutely need to listen to, and if you support them, they will have the opportunity to visit Los Angeles and other parts of the United States. I believe that this is a band that you should keep a close eye on from now on,

BIRTHDAY BASH
let’s focus on this amazing fashion that’s Selena Gomez has it is very stunning and she owns her style her fashion, Everything about her sense of fashion especially on her special day makes total sense. Over the weekend Selena celebrated her 31st birthday Selena wore a strapless mini dress with leather flower pet-
als and to complete her outfit she followed the romantic red theme with a pair of sandals.
What I really love about Selena is that she will wear anything no matter what the critics say she truly is a style fashionista A strapless, flaming red minidress with flower appliqués and fringe was
Selena’s choice of attire. She wore silver hoops, black shield sunglasses, and a matched pair of black stilettos with straps that went up her calves as accessories. After applying a nude lip, golden eyeshadow, and winged liner, Selena pulled her long brown curls back into a seductive updo. She captioned a slideshow of
images from her birthday celebration with the number “31,” which featured celebrities including Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, Karol G., and Sabrina Claudio. After Selena’s party, she and her pals all dressed up in pink and sneaked out to watch the new Barbie movie. In contrast, Selena sported a fuchsia halter-neck
dress, paired it with matching lipstick, and topped it off with a massive pink cocktail ring. Earlier in the day, Selena penned a heartfelt Instagram post in which she shared the numerous ways she was honoring her birthday and expressing gratitude. ACTION 100 STORY 98 A MUST WATCH 97
The sound and everything else about it feels unreal you know, we’ve been thinking about this moment when I was going around and talking to all of the fans, and I just let them know I said look this is we dream about these moments, and it never it never gets old to me I appreciate it I think even more I appreciate it as time has gone on and it’s very special. You know, we’ve been thinking about this moment when I was going around and talking to all of the fans. I still vividly recall the very first time I let go of the handlebars of my bike. If I looked straight down, there was a chance that I may fall off of it. If I did fall off of it, it would be very challenging for me to get back up, even if I was a bit unsteady at the moment.
When I look for that bike I remember I could feel the tire the rear tire I could feel the air in my body is going around saying I just I hope it doesn’t hit me and I look down at the bike to see my distance to make sure that because I wasn’t sure whether I was going to get separation from that motorcycle well we
didn’t quite know what was going to happen I didn’t quite know and with all the prep and training and everything that I did so I just saw the I saw the motorcycle go away and I made sure that I looked up again and my timing is I feel the wall go past me and then it was you know making sure that I go deep enough for the shot because when you see how low I’m getting the lower I got the better the shot was and I knew that so that’s why I was thinking about then I thought when I opened when I opened the shoot I was also not getting dragged into the side of the mountain which on my test jumped that morning you can see I was a little there’s a it’s very delicate because there was there was a squirrel in there and sometimes my it would hit my
shoulder hit my right shoulder I’m opening the shoot doesn’t open directly above me and you can see that I turned into the mountain on that on the PK you can see it so I was thinking about that when I was open I was like I hope I’m going to the mountain again and I have to quickly pull away and then I have to try to make it back to base and then also get on with McEwen and find out how was that shot what are we doing.
In order to film these stunts for Mission: Impossible with Tom, there are no limits, and as a result, we become a little bit more daring with each new stunt. Tom is participating in a sport called speed flying, which is a beautiful and delicate sport but also one of the most dangerous sports in the world.
SHOOTING THE STUNTS
to shoot these stunts for Mission Impossible with Tom there are no limits so we become a little bit more adventurous every time Tom’s doing a sport very few people on this planet dude it’s called speed flying beautiful and delicate sport but it also is one of the most dangerous sports in the world while it may look similar speed flying is not skydiving is fairly predictable speed flying is incredibly unpredictable
We’ve been training for a few years now, and we’re always looking for what’s the most dynamic way to shoot this coming up with the stunt is only one of the technical challenges; the other is putting a camera in the right place to capture the action. It’s a very slim chance that these kinds of crosswinds could put Tom in danger. We’re going to do spirals, and we’re landing Kennedy at an incredible high speed over 80 kilometers per hour
because they are unable to get near to Tom when he is operating the speedway with a helicopter or a drone, we were forced to come up with a gimbal system that could fly alongside Tom. when you are conducting stunts like this, we are at the whim of the weather, which may also be too risky. the winds lowering and flying very near to rocks looks pretty beautiful, and the moments in extreme horror landing Tom had to be flying towards the camera truck, which meant that Tom had to be at the precise mark or else it may result in tragedy. This is definitely an unforgettable experience since it is a .one-of-a-kind adventure

By June of 1986 they played their very last gig at Wembley Stadium having done exactly that. Now for the very first time, told in their own words, the amazing story of how in four years they dominated the charts around the world with timeless and classic pop songs. Hit after hit – Club Tropicana, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, Freedom, I’m Your Man and of course Last Christmas. Their time in the spotlight was white-hot, becoming the very first western pop act to play in China

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Separation
After fizzling out during its original run, Bleach finally made its long-awaited return in 2022, and the show has never been better. Pierrot has pulled out all the stops to make sure the Thousand-Year Blood War feels massive, and the studio has more than achieved its goal. The Separation continues directly from the end of the Fall 2022 cour, with the Soul Society still reeling from the Quincy Clan’s onslaught, and the latter has no intention of allowing the former any time to recover. With immaculate action, quick pacing, and an antagonistic group that comes across as a genuine threat, Bleach’s 2023 entry represents battle shonen anime at its
Story of J. Robert Oppenheimer and the creation of the atomic bomb.

. We’ve been friends for a while, and one of our favorite things to do is tell jokes about our bad dating experiences or our nasty messy girlfriends over dinner. We figured, hey, we’re professional writers, let’s put it in a movie and make the kind of movie we wished we had when we were kids. I’d like to think that at various times in my life I’ve been one of those characters, and I think most people would agree with me. Also, we lucked out tremendously in getting that amazing cast.
we did for our roles and there’s a little bit of each of the actors in real life that you know are kind of the characters with Ashley park you know Audrey kind of like this good girl and presents a certain way but there’s like this fun in a freaking side that’s totally Ashley cherry cola cherry cola I feel like she is like creative unapologetic you know just like this joy of life of fearless and then there’s Steph shoe who is you know on one hand like Oscar nominee Steph shoe
but also you know completely crazy and fear- less and has his hidden side to her that you don’t know and then Sabrina woo who is you know we found and immediately jumped on because we’ve never seen anything like them and I remember Sabrina ‘s audition talking about being in middle school where they feel like they felt like they did it completely fit in and it was heartbreaking and touching and perfect for the role of dead
I because that’s the character of Jedi shooting this movie was crazy with our cast because you would shoot 12 days on set and then they would go back to our hotels and we’re all hotel rooms were all in the same building our cast would keep hanging out with each other like they did not get sick of each other they would go back
and literally be like playing games all night and just like cracking each other up all night and so when we got on set to shoot you know our scenes that you see that chemistry you see that like you know ridiculousness that they built together and I think you’d see it the most oh gosh it all the scenes but in the in the train scene when they are putting drugs in each other in all kinds of different places yeah it was completely crazy you were just like you know clouds blowing every which way and they had the best time raunchy exuberant and real I think the audiences will just love that they had the best time that they laughed their ***** off and also had a good cry
