Wine Tasting – Near the Cafe Area

Explore their award-winning selection of wines crafted from grapes grown at their vineyard in Nun Monkton, nestled between York and Harrogate. This is a perfect opportunity for discerning wine lovers to savour exceptional flavours and a chance to purchase a bottle or two.

INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS – BACK OF THE HALL

Run by a talented group of artists exhibiting at the fair, these engaging, hands-on workshops are designed for all ages and abilities. From drawing and painting to paper-cutting, create something special to take home, guided by our skilled artists.

Join Steve as he demonstrates the “Alla Prima” wet-onwet oil painting technique, illustrating how to quickly and effectively build the foundational structure of a stunning landscape painting.

See Hannah demonstrate resin pouring to create a decorative art piece.

15:00 – 16:00 Toby Staunton (Stand E4)

Discover the beauty of Japanese sumi ink as Toby handcrafts rich, dynamic scenes. This live art demo will showcase his latest work in a series of seasonal paintings, making its debut at the art fair.

The UK’s child poverty rate is at its highest level in over 20 years. In Yorkshire, nearly 1 in every 3 children live in poverty. Yorkshire Children’s Charity exists to “make things better” for these children. From large-scale school transformation projects to special days out and family grants, our work creates tangible and meaningful improvements for children across our county, empowering them to have the most fulfilling future possible.
