Greater Des Moines Partnership

Each summer, the Greater Des Moines Partnership provides programming for interns in the Greater Des Moines region to learn, grow professionally and network. The DSM Intern Connection program features opportunities for interns and college-aged students to connect with community leaders and executives and learn about what makes the region unique and truly the place to be. These events are free to attend and interns from all industries are encouraged to attend:

Young Professional Panel, July 11

Representatives from several Young Professionals groups within the region talk about the transition from college to career, skill development and answer questions about being a young professional in Greater Des Moines. Interested parties can register here.

DSM USA Intern Bash, July 13

Interns will have the opportunity to join their peers and network with young professionals and company representatives at Big Grove Brewery & Taproom from 5 – 7 p.m. Interested parties can register here.

What Young Professionals Should Know about Benefits, July 25

Interns will have the opportunity to hear from experts on how to navigate benefits, including health plans, 401k/IRA, life insurance and annuities. Interested parties can register here. Social at the Iowa Cubs Game, Aug. 1
