The nature of Jatki has changed already in the XIX century, when the meat has been replaced by pottery and other trade. In the 90s the monument to slaughter animals was placed here. After entering into Jatki we can see sculptures of duck, goat, pig and a cock. In this way the artists wanted to honor the slaughtered animals.
