This sense of connection with others doesn’t necessarily come with a membership card or a checked box on a form but, instead, by the opportunity to show up, as you truly are, and be welcomed, loved, and celebrated. Whether they’re connections for a season or for a lifetime, we were made to walk alongside one another in community. These connections may be seen in classrooms, playgrounds, or even on a bus to serve at Habitat. We’re hopeful that FUMCR is a place where anyone may “find their people” and go into the world making a difference together.
Belonging in wo What a blessing to come together in worship each week, both in person and online. This sacred time invites life-long Methodists to join those who are newer to the Christian faith while we all learn,
orship t o gether sing, pray, and explore together. As we embark on a new year, we’re ever mindful that worship continues to extend far beyond the walls of our church and sometimes far beyond Sunday morning.
Belonging thr ough serving t o gether John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, challenged many to “do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can….” We continue to live out those words today. While passionately serving people with Christ, we aspire to make a positive impact on the lives of our neighbors while building strong relationships along the way.

Learning is for a lifetime! We believe in the power of asking questions, seeking experiences, and learning from one another. From our youngest children to our senior adults, we’re blessed by the opportunities to grow deeper in our faith while exploring what it means to belong to ourselves, our community, and to God.

Our celebrations come in packages both big and small - from baptisms, Easter egg hunts, and first Bibles to confirmations, graduations, and beyond. We celebrate these moments together that are deeply rooted in a love for God and a love for one another.
