Fall 2016 Special Edition: New Season of Celebrations! FUMC AUDIO-VIDEO TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES

• How is it with your soul? • How are you growing in your spiritual life? • How are you serving others? • How are you sharing the “Good News?”

As many of you are aware, Bishop McAlilly has challenged all Memphis Conference congregations to not only be mindful of, but to actively work toward “taking the church outside our walls” and into our communities. We are very excited that our church leadership has taken on that challenge! A critical step for FUMC is to upgrade our video & sound systems in both the Sanctuary and Clayton Hall!

This Special Edition of the newsletter provides opportunities for ways to nurture your soul; join a new Bible study or class, build relationships and to participate, invite and serve others.

The Church Council, The Finance Team and the Trustees have approved a plan that will get rid of our very out-dated and patched 1980s/’90s video technology and completely overhaul the systems in both Clayton Hall and the Sanctuary.

Please take time to read about FUMC ministries and pray about how you might grow and serve in a new way in your Christian faith!

First Awakening in Clayton Hall will continue to be visually driven on the screens; these upgrades will improve the imagery and the sound as well as allow for recordings of the service. The updates to the Sanctuary will greatly improve the sound system and add a visual component that will truly enhance the Traditional Worship experience. Please

by Robert Curlin

know that the Traditional Service will stay "traditional." We will still use hymnals for songs and various liturgies; videos will be used occasionally to enhance worship and improve communications. Another benefit of our upgraded equipment is the ability to live-stream video and to originate or receive webinars from Clayton Hall. This will be a great benefit for Annual Conference, District Meetings, Downtown Rotary, Youth Week, special events, guest speakers, etc. In a world now driven by handheld electronic devices, it is imperative that we keep up by being able to generate programming, videos and other elements that help expand our outreach, grow our membership, and "reach outside our walls". FUMC is very fortunate that our forward thinking leadership has voted to provide us with a state-of-the-art production package. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful facilities! The addition of these AV upgrades will allow Jackson First to continue to be a powerful vessel in Downtown Jackson, the District, and the conference!

First Edition August 22, 2016

Take Time To Listen by Lisa Harper Associate Pastor

As the Fall season approaches, we are reminded of God’s transforming power, Lisa Harper revealed in the splendor of autumn leaves, creating ever-changing beauty in landscapes and fields. How may our lives reflect a readiness for change; a willingness and desire to do whatever it takes to live more faithfully? September ushers in new opportunities at Jackson FUMC for exploring worship arts, Bible and discipleship studies, theological discussions, building friendships, sharing meals, intergenerational activities, marriage enrichment, spiritual discernment, and warm fellowship. We are prayerfully anticipating a holy time of creativity, discovery, hospitality, and spiritual renewal! May this season stir within us an eagerness… an earnest commitment to encourage and actively care for one another amidst life’s uncertainties, joys, transitions, heartaches, health concerns, grief and loss. In only a short time, since I began ministry here, I have witnessed the generous, genuine care and lovingkindness of this church inside, and outside the walls. Thank you for your kindness and generosity to me. Let’s take a moment to reflect on a passage from Isaiah 55:1a,2b: (NIV) “Come, all who are thirsty, come to the waters; Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good… Give ear and come to me; Hear me, that your soul may live.” In this Scripture passage, the Israelites were encouraged to come to God for spiritual nourishment, allowing God’s word to sustain them day by day. What difference could it make in our lives if we took time to listen… • To prayerfully read the Scriptures? • Participate in a discipleship or small group study? • Mission outreach? • Join in congregational care ministries? • How might we respond to God’s sustaining grace for us, by offering grace to others? As we come together as a church family in the days and months ahead, may we undergird one another in our faith journeys, finding rest and hope in God’s unchanging, everlasting, gracefilled love! “Hear me, that your soul may live.” – Isaiah 55:2b

did Jesus most frequently and consistently say and do during his public ministry that would be instructive for us? We Have a Story to Tell... Children’s Ministry

by Jenni Thorn Director of Children’s Ministry

2016 has proven to be an exciting year in the Children’s Ministry at FUMC! So far this year: • 400 people attended the Easter Egg Hunt at Andrews Chapel • 50 parents attended a Parent Forum in April • 52 kids attended Music Day Camp (50% do NOT attend FUMC) • 120 kids attended VBS (62% do NOT attend FUMC) • 67 attended Blessing of the Backpacks • 56 kids enrolled in Kids at First Parents Day Out (73% do NOT attend FUMC) • 42 kids registered for Worship Arts for Kids (24% do NOT attend FUMC) The Children’s Ministry Team, in partnership with the Youth Council and others, is hard at work planning “Home Grown Parenting Workshop” for October 22. This will be a wonderful outreach for parents of all ages from throughout our community. The keynote speaker, Christina Embree, Director of Children & Family Ministry at Nicholasville UMC, Lexington, Kentucky, will share with parents how to make discipleship in the home more effective. We will have breakout sessions on parenting at each age level (infant through high school), social media and the home, and more. Please join us for this event as a participant or as a volunteer. More information may be found on our website. Worship Arts for Kids (WAK) is a new initiative to get children more involved in worship. Parents select two track times for their child to participate in for the semester: rhythm, tone chimes, Angel choir, Agape choir, liturgical dance, guitar, audio/visual, and creative crafting. Volunteers are needed to help prepare dinner for the kids, help with rhythm, and Angel choir (preschool thru 1st grade). WAK meets the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month.

The Children’s Ministry and Nursery areas received a face lift this year, as well. If you have not seen the newly decorated classrooms, please stop by. The kids would LOVE to show you the new tree house in the 2nd and 3rd grade room or the new pallet couch in the 4th and 5th grade room. Why a Ministry? Isn’t basic babysitting enough? Throughout the Bible, God shows His love and concern for the little ones. The Bible states that Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” (Matthew 19:14) This is why we take ministry to children very seriously. We hope to provide care for children while teaching them timeless biblical truths vital to life. We understand by so ministering to them, we minister to the parents as well. The Children’s Ministry at FUMC would be nothing without an amazing team of volunteers. They truly are a team and believe in building relationships, teaching scriptural truths and enjoying a time of fellowship within the classroom. If you would like more information about joining this team, please contact Jenni Thorn, Director of Children’s Ministry at jthorn@ jacksonfumc.org.

Youth Ministry

by Christian Hesling Youth Pastor From Youth Week to St. Louis; Jackson Generals to Redneck Island; the end of the summer has been an incredible whirlwind! There is no other way that I would prefer to start off here at Jackson First United Methodist Church. My name is Christian Hesling and it is a pleasure to be serving as the youth pastor. It is through my graduate program that I found Jackson First – I consider it quite the privilege to join the ranks here in downtown Jackson. (continued on page 7)

First Edition August 22, 2016 (Youth Ministry, continued from page 5) As the church enters into a new season, so does the youth ministry! This fall will carry with it much of the usual youth events. Details on page 9. Amidst the regular routine, however, myself, a handful of church members, councils, and leaders are prayerfully using this season to discern God’s direction for the future of this youth ministry. This fall we will be re-casting the vision for the youth ministry and with this new vision we will create new programs and restructure existing programs. While much of this is unsolidified at the moment, we know that God is doing incredible things and we anticipate His hand moving in powerful ways in this next season. Please be sure to follow our ministry so that you may become aware of all that we are doing, and all that God is doing. Contact me at chesling@jacksonfumc.org or check out our Facebook page, facebook.com/ TheCurrentUMY for more information. Blessings and peace to you!

Ministry to Adults 55+

by Pam Jaco Director of Older Adult Ministries

“The first half of life is largely based on finding our identity and the second half of Life is building on it. Just as the body cannot live without food, so the soul cannot live without meaning.” Richard Rohr, Falling Upward Ministry to Adults 55 and above 1. Older adults share wisdom, faith, values and gifts with succeeding generations. 2. Older adults need opportunities to laugh and play. This is a holistic ministry. 3. Aging is an opportunity to grow closer to God – making disciples doesn’t stop as people age. 4. Events are for everyone – singles and couples. Our activities are open to anyone age 55 and older regardless of their church membership. Opportunities are developed to reach out as well as in. 5. Aging and growing older opens the door to new possibilities and to living a life of significance.

page 7

6. As we age, we have harvested life experiences and a humility that sees service as the natural result of continued inner growth. Older adults find ways to serve every day.

23rd for which Jackson FUMC is hosting 135 churches in our conference; Thanksgiving Dinner, November 16; Carols and Candles Reception, December 18.

Mission: ARISE2Read Jackson

by Linda Austin Director, ARISE2Read Jackson

“Almost one fourth of Jackson’s population lives in poverty, and 73 percent of students in JMCSS are economically disadvantaged. This means, on average, these students are three grade levels behind their peers in affluent communities. ‘The link between poverty and academic failure, delinquency, violence, and crime,’ according to the Department of Justice, ‘is welded to reading failure.’ Simply put, “two thirds of students who cannot read proficiently by the end of the 4th grade will end up in jail or on welfare.” I’ve decided the educational achievement gap is my target. I can help change that, and I’d like you to join me. “ ARISE2Read Jackson is seeking volunteers to give one hour a week to help a child learn to read. ARISE2Read supports JMCSS’s literacy initiative, Team Read, a fun, interactive and easy way to teach sight words to second graders. Team Read is effective: last year, with the help of 525 volunteers, students increased sight word recognition 103 percent; more significantly, however, students who were coached twice a week increased 291 percent! We need more volunteers; we need you! Coaching begins after Labor Day. Our mission is to “Save a child to save a family to save a city.” The Body of Christ working together for a common goal can change this city. Will you help? Questions? PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY: KNITTING/CROCHETING GROUP: 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Light lunch provided.

Mission: WINGS

by Sharon Matthews WINGS Tutor/Mentor

We are deeply grateful for Elsie Harris, who planted the first seed for prayer shawl ministries at Jackson FUMC, over fourteen years ago! Her vision and dedication for providing congregational care through prayer shawl ministries has brought healing, comfort, and hope to many in our church family, and beyond.

WINGS (Witness In God’s Sanctuary) is a Tutoring/Mentoring Ministry of First United Methodist Church. We are proudly beginning our 9th year of partnering with Arlington Elementary School to find kids who would benefit from additional help and guidance throughout their school year. WINGS looks for kids who are supported by a parent, grandparent or guardian and who are receptive to spending time with an adult who truly cares about them and wants to see them succeed in school and in life. Our goal is to enhance their learning experience and to introduce our kids to the church and to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. We meet on Wednesdays during the school year. Our church bus picks up the children and brings them to FUMC. Our program is from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. with some gym time when they first arrive, tutoring one-on-one for 45 minutes and a 15 minute devotional. The tutors and kids participate in the Wednesday Evening Fellowship Dinner and the kids are also given the opportunity to stay for the Kingdom Kids program from 6:00-7:00. This year WINGS begins on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. WINGS appreciates the church’s support of this worthwhile ministry. If you know of a child who might benefit from this program, please let us know or if you would like to know more about being a part of WINGS, You’re invited to come and visit to see for yourself. We would love to have more tutor/mentors so that we can have more children in our program. Contact Sharon Matthews, 731-343-0043 or sharonmatthews43@yahoo.com

Youth News Open to 7th-12th graders

Christian Hesling, Youth Pastor (chesling@jacksonfumc.org) Search for “The Current UMY” on Facebook

This fall at The Current we have a lot going on that you do not want to miss! Every week we have a couple of great opportunities for the youth to meet together for a variety of purposes. On Sunday Mornings, 10-10:50 a.m., we have Sunday School classes following the First Awakening Service upstairs in the youth center. During this time, the middle school will meet together and the high school will meet together and they will participate in Bible Study and discussions led by adult volunteers. This is a great time for students to engage with peers their age about relevant and important topics pertaining to life and faith. On Sunday Evenings, 5-7 p.m., the 6th grade confirmation class will be meeting while the 7th-12th graders come together for small groups. The 6th grade confirmation class will be led by Kelly Nye and Inge Poole. This is an opportunity for any and all 6th graders to learn about the United Methodist tradition while they engage in dialogue about what that means for their lives and their faith. The 7th-12th graders will then come together to divide up into their own small groups. This will be an opportunity for them to converse about their day-to-day lives and how their faith plays a part in that. This is a great opportunity for students to get to know each other while they grow in their walk with Christ together.

Wednesday evenings, 5:30-7 p.m., we will be having Bible Study! This fall we are privileged to have two curriculums that we will be covering. First we will be studying “John; The Gospel of Light and Life.” This study will take us through the Gospel of John, an imperative book for the guidance of students in their faith. Secondly, we will be delving deep as we take on conversations that engage our struggles; “#Struggles; Following Jesus in a Selfie-Centered World” is a study that we will embark on later on this fall. This is bound to be a great and challenging series as it will lead us to discern what our struggles are in this life and how we can overcome them to follow Jesus. On top of all of these great meetings we will also be having a See You At The Pole meeting in September, a Fall Festival in October, a hopping Christmas party in December, and much more in-between! We are incredibly excited for this fall in the youth ministry and would love it if you and your students joined us! To find out more information or if you have any questions pertaining to anything youth ministry related, please contact Christian Hesling at chesling@jacksonfumc.org or visit www.facebook.com/TheCurrentUMY.

the different locales of his son’s (Dana M. Groff, III) and family who live in Collierville, TN and his daughter’s (Caroline Roberts) family who live on Coastal Maine. His youth and early inspiration are mirrored through his works of the “rustic landscapes of West TN, the powerful coastal vistas of upper New England and the tropical fauna of Florida’s west coast.”

Member Spotlight: Dana Groff

by Bobbie Mays Director of Communications

Artist by Design Dana M. Groff, Jr. was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Three days after his birth, he was adopted into his new family. While there is no known origin for his love of art, his interest was sparked at the young age of three when he first picked up a pencil and discovered… ”Wow! I can draw!” His talent continued to develop and when in high school, he entered a competition with a pen and ink rendering of the University of South Florida. He refined his painting techniques while attending Lambuth University receiving a BA degree in Fine Arts in 1973. He considered pursuing a master’s degree in art, but marriage altered those plans and he went to work for his father’s aluminum manufacturing firm in Tampa as the PR manager for seventeen years. During those years, he continued to paint and exhibit his work through art shows in the Tampa Bay area. In 1985, Dana opened his own art gallery in South Tampa. It closed within the same year due to “a bad location and high rent.” Not to be discouraged... he continued as a freelance artist showing his works in other galleries. In 1995, he started the Groff Studio as a sidebar occupation while working at a number of diversified jobs in Central FL and later in West TN. Dana worked as an assistant director of an art gallery in Naples, FL for a short period and in the 1990’s as a photographer/reporter for the Collierville Herald for more than three years. Some of Dana’s paintings are influenced by

Dana describes his renderings as contemporary realism. He prefers to call his work “freestyle”. He notes that he is not an abstract painter and states, “Objective visual art is all that I have ever known... and it’s always been my own eclectic brand.” Dana feels very blessed “with an inheriant knowledge and skill from a generous God.” The artist has an affinity for the power and beauty of creation and at 67, still considers himself a “student of discovery.” Photography is always important for his research and study. Dana uses a variety of mediums for his numerous paintings that have been exhibited since 1970 in several art shows, festivals, cultural arts centers and competitions in Florida, Tennessee, and Maine. A New Life in Jackson, TN On April 30, 2011 Dana and Amy (Eickhoff) Groff were married and while shuffling between their two residences, moved in 2013 from the Memphis area to Jackson where his college education began. Forty years earlier, at Lambuth University, Dana befriended the late Andy Eickhoff. Andy met Amy at Lambuth and they were married until he passed away. Amy and Andy’s daughters are Amanda Jackson and Audra Eickhoff. Amy, a long-time member of Jackson FUMC and Dana are both active servants of Christ. Amy, who sings in the Sanctuary Choir, Jubilate Ensemble and plays handbells is also an accomplished pianist who shares that talent when needed in church. Dana, who is a gifted teacher, has also served in that role in the Family Life Forum Sunday School class as well as leading studies occasionally for Wednesday evening classes. He also serves on an usher team for the 11 a.m. Sunday service. In addition to his Methodist ties, Dana grew up in a Presbyterian church, attended an

Episcopalian Day School in FL and attended Bellevue Baptist in Memphis. ... “I’ve made the rounds. The Gospel message is pretty much the same. It’s the people in the pews that are different.” Dana and Amy find great joy in their seven grandchildren ranging from 14 months to 15 years. Dana has a younger sister, Phyllis Groff, living in Ocala, FL. Amy’s passion for teaching continues as she is a substitute teacher in the JMCSS. Dana, who is semiretired will always have a penchant in life as an artist. He continues to receive honors with his latest recognition for the 2016 Jackson Visual Art Association (JVAA) Best of Show at City Hall. Two examples of his works as pictured in this story are “Berries in a Revere Bowl” and “Relic”. Another is his charcoal sketch of Jesus Christ titled, “I Am the Way” in the hallway from the Sanctuary to Clayton Hall. “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” - John 14:6 “Experiences mold you…using what you have been given as a talent” is part of God’s calling. Dana continues to share his amazing God-given talents, taking to heart one of his favorite scriptures: “Neglect not the gift that is in thee...” - I Tim. 4:14

The Parable of the Watermelon Seed

by Susan Crocker

Remember the school assignment, “What I did on my summer vacation?” That came to mind last week when John and I went on a week long bike ride in Michigan, complete with tent camping. Yes, and I don’t camp. To say it was “out of my comfort zone” would be a huge understatement, yet we did it. Sitting on a bike seat 7 hours a day leaves you a lot of time to think (mainly about breathing and sore seat). Many times the road was flat and you just spun along…but then you’d see the hill coming up in front of you in the distance. One such hill was called “Watermelon Hill”. It had a 14% up grade and was pure torture. The reason it is known as watermelon hill, because at the top, two women pass out watermelon slices to the riders as they take a break. I had been worried about that hill for days… how I was going to make it to the top? Day 3 was the day I’d tackle the hill. Spinning along fast on the flat road was great, until I rounded the bend and saw Watermelon Hill looming in the distance. There were riders in front of me and behind me, so all you can do is downshift and get on with it. Pretty soon my lungs were burning and my legs were exhausted, but I was almost at the top. Just about the time I thought I’d have to stop and walk, I could hear cheering from other riders at the top of the hill. They had finished, but walked down a bit, so they could encourage everyone after them to make it up the hill. I thought about that hill, and all the others to follow, on that ride a lot. Whenever it rained or got tough, someone would ride along and chat or just shout out your name and encourage you along. Isn’t that what we do for each other, and isn’t that what Jesus does for us? We pray for each other, we take meals, we drive carpool for our families, we visit the hospital or take flowers to a shut-in. Jesus loves us and encourages us and wants us to be his disciples. Women’s ministry is there to cheer you on and help you deepen your spiritual life. I know Jesus is at the top of Watermelon Hill… I can hear him, “Come on now, don’t stop - you’ve got this. I’m waiting at the top for you!”

A Report from the Finance Committee The following is a report on the operating budget as of July 31, 2016. This time of year is typical for our expenses to be ahead of our revenue, and based on past history, the budget should balance by year-end.

Dear FUMC Friends, What a wonderful send-off you gave to Cecil and me as we began a new journey to Nashville! We are so grateful for your many kind words of affirmation and encouragement that you shared with us. FUMC Jackson will always hold a special place in our hearts. You truly provided a place of acceptance, nurture, and many opportunities for ministry for each of us. We hold each of you as dear friends and companions on our journey of faith. Thank you for the gift card to Lowe’s. We have certainly been able to use that. No home ever comes exactly the way you would like and your gift is enabling us to add some storage shelving to the house. I’m saving a bit for some mums to beautify the yard in a month or so. You are always welcome here. Our new address is 951 Morning Road; Cane Ridge, TN 37013. We also have a new phone number 615-819-2074. When you are near, give us a call! Please know that our prayers are with you. We pray that God will help you to see His vision for FUMC and the Holy Spirit will empower you to become a mighty witness for Him in Jackson and the surrounding area. We look forward to visiting with you as we return to Jackson for various activities. Affectionately, Cecil and Tharon Kirk

Choir time! It’s fall and kickoff time for choir rehearsals to begin. After several weeks of ‘no rehearsals’ choirs are set to resume their Fall schedules: Sanctuary Choir, music leaders for the 11:00 worship services in the sanctuary, will begin fall rehearsals at their regular time, 7:00 pm, on August 17 in the choir room located in the lower level of the building. New anthems, as well as older familiar anthems, are to be rehearsed, along with service music to enhance worship services. All interested singers (no auditions required) are encouraged to join for these rehearsals which last until 8:30 each Wednesday evening. Christmas Music preparation will begin on the first Wednesday following Labor Day, September 7, and will be the first part of each Wednesday’s rehearsal time. Singers who wish to participate in Christmas are encouraged to do so. Prime Ringers, our handbell choir, begins its rehearsal at 6:00 pm the first Wednesday following Labor Day, September 7. New Ringers are needed to complete our five octave handbell choir.

If you are interested, but have never rung handbells, see Margaret for some beginning instructions on ringing. Handbell choir rehearsal room is located in the lower level across from Sanctuary Choir rehearsal room. See the Childrens’ Ministry page for information on Childrens’ Worship Arts for the Fall. A great program of activities is being planned. Wanda Scanlon is looking for persons who would like to form a liturgical dance troupe. See Wanda, or Jenni Thorn for more information on this new offering in our worship arts ministry. First Awakening, our 8:55 a.m. contemporary worship service, is also in need of musicians, both singers and instrumentalists, to rehearse and lead this service. See Dale Dodd for more information about rehearsal place and time.

Worship is at the heart of ministry at FUMC. Find your place in helping to lead in one of our worship services!

Louisiana Flooding – What you can do to help Our friends in Louisiana need our prayers and our help. They are in a state of emergency due to massive flooding. Some areas have received more than 25 inches of rain since Friday and the flooding continues. So far, 6 people have died and 20,000 have had to be rescued. Over 10,000 people are in temporary shelters. We also know that there is ongoing flooding in Mississippi. Within the United Methodist connection, we currently are responding to 150 disasters in 38 states. We lift all those affected in our prayers. In the midst of a disaster, we wonder what we can best do from afar. Our initial response is to want to be there, in person, to help. This often is not best for those who live there and are in the middle of a crisis. The recovery in Louisiana and Mississippi will be long and we will have future opportunities to send teams to be onsite. Until that time, below are recommendations for immediate assistance that our conference Disaster Response Coordinators, Angela Overstreet (angela.overstreet@tnumc.org), in the Tennessee Conference, and Rev. Robert Craig (robert.reelfoot@gmail.com), in the Memphis Conference, have forwarded to me.

Thank you for your prayers and your help. May God have mercy on those affected by this devastating flood. In the Memphis Conference, bring these items to: Memphis Conference Office, 24 Corporate Blvd, Jackson, TN 38305 Phone: 731-664-8480 Contact: Robert Craig, robert.reelfoot@ gmail.com, 731-583-9970, Ext 101 Please also check the Memphis Conference website for district drop off locations and deadlines to be posted as soon as confirmed. Pray for Louisiana Bishop Cynthia Fierro Harvey, resident bishop of the Louisiana Conference and guest speaker at the Memphis Conference service of ordination in June, asks that we continue to pray: Pray for those still trapped by rising waters… Pray for those yet to be affected… Pray for the first responders who have left their own flood ravaged homes to rescue others… Pray for the children who have difficult questions with difficult answers… Pray for our government officials; may they get the rest they need… Pray for our churches; may they respond with the grace of Jesus Christ.

How You Can Help Prepare and Send the Following Items: • Flood Cleaning Buckets* • 25 foot Extension Cords • Flat Bill Shovels • Box Fans

by Bishop Bill McAlilly Send Funds for Supplies Financial Donations may be sent directly to: Louisiana Conference of the UMC, 527 North Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802 Please indicate that funds are for: August floods 2016. Please DO NOT send other items and DO NOT deploy volunteers to that area. Currently, there is no space to store nonrequested items and certainly nowhere to house volunteers! The Louisiana Conference Disaster Response Coordinator will do an assessment of needs and will communicate to us when our Early Response Teams can come to Louisiana to assist. IMPORTANT: They will only accept properly trained volunteers AND our teams must be invited by the Louisiana Conference before being deployed. You can be prepared to respond by encouraging volunteers to participate in UMCOR approved disaster response training. Registrations are now being accepted for Tennessee Conference Early Response Team Training in September at Cedar Crest Camp. Also, Recertification for those already trained will be offered on that Saturday.
