GO English Regionals NCSA CAMP MEETING 2023
SEDAVEN ESTATE 22-25 SEPTEMBER
I WILL
EMPOWERED BY HIS SPIRIT

Message of Welcome

Greetings to all the Saints who are attending this joint Camp Meeting of the North East Johannesburg (NEJ), Central South West (CSWJ) and Pretoria English (PE) Regions of the Northern Conference of South Africa. We would like to thank the many who have been involved in the planning and preparation of this Camp Meeting. They have put in hundreds of hours of tireless effort and may the Lord Almighty bless them abundantly. We are very excited to finally be back to a physical Camp Meeting at Sedaven Campgrounds after the COVID years. Although we are saddened by the loss of many of our loved ones who were with us at the last Camp Meeting (due to COVID and other reasons) but we praise God for His never ending mercies and we echo the words of Psalm 136:1 “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever”. We gather this year under the theme “Empowered by His Spirit - I Will Go.” This is such a powerful acknowledgement and confession that unless He empowers us, we cannot go on His mission, we will not go in our own strength because “without Him, we can go nothing”. This time of encampment should give us an opportunity to be with the Lord in prayer, in meditation and in feasting on His word. God has sent His servants to minister to us in the preaching of His word, in music and in various teaching programs planned. May we take full advantage of these services by attending them and engaging as much as we can. Many have come with burdens and many life challenges, and we pray that this Camp Meeting experience will provide us with an encounter with Jesus, the Burden-bearer and we can leave those burdens at the foot of His cross. Many have also come with joyful and grateful hearts and may we praise Him for who He is and what He has done, and continues to do in our lives. We also pray that we will meet old friends as well as make new friends during this time of fellowship. May the God who is able to do more than what we can think or imagine, bless us abundantly and may we leave this camp meeting having grown closer to Him than before.

Theme Song

1) It may not be on the mountain height Or over the stormy sea, It may not be at the battle's f ront My Lord will have need of me. But if, by a still, small voice he calls To paths that I do not know, I'll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in thine:

Chorus

I'll go where you want me to go. I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord, Over mountain or plain or sea; I'll say

2) Perhaps today there are loving words Which Jesus would have me speak; There may be now in the paths of sin Some wand'rer whom I should seek. O Savior, if thou wilt be my guide, Tho dark and rugged the way, My voice shall echo the message sweet: I'll say what you want me to say.

3) There's surely somewhere a lowly place In earth's harvest fields so wide Where I may labor through life's short day For Jesus, the Crucified. So trusting my all to thy tender care, And knowing thou lovest me, I'll do thy will with a heart sincere: I'll be what you want me to be.
