PUTTING BOOT ON BUCKLE USE FOR ORIGINAL AND SOUL SHELLS 1. To loosen buckles press down the button under the lever and slide the lever towards the tongue (Figure 1A) 2. Place metal end of cable in buckle catch (FIGURE 1B) 3. To tighten each lever, slide the lever away from the tongue

FOR EVOLUTION AND GROWTH SPURT MODELS 1. Hook buckle bail in rack (FIGURE 1C) 2. To tighten each buckle, hook buckle bail in a rack position farther away from the buckle

PUTTING BOOT ON 1. Open buckles, pull tongue forward, slide foot into liner and close tongue. Outer side of liner must wrap over inner side of liner (FIGURE 2A) 2. Align top cable with the top two tongue grooves and latch down top buckle (FIGURE 2B) 3. Tighten middle buckle. Use next two tongue grooves down to align cable 4. Repeat for lower buckle using the bottom two tongue grooves 5. Tighten each lever to achieve optimal fit 6. Thread end of power strap through metal loop and pull tight across tongue, attaching velcro together.

MACRO ADJUSTABLE TOP CABLE If the top cable is too tight or loose, it can be moved to achieve the proper fit 1. Remove liner 2. Where the upper cable connects to the cuff, separate the lower shell and cuff (FIGURE 3A) 3. Use a screwdriver or pliers to pull the cable out of the notch and place back into a different notch (FIGURE 3B, 3C, 3D) 4. Replace liner and check fit

MACRO ADJUSTABLE RACKS All Evolution shells feature macro adjustable racks. If the top, middle, or bottom cable is too loose, it can be moved to achieve the proper fit.

MICRO ADJUSTABLE BUCKLES Buckles on Evolution shells can be micro adjusted by turning the end of the buckle

HEAT MOLDABLE LINERS Full Tilt boots feature heat-moldable Intuition liners which can be custom molded to your foot.Bring them to your local ski boot dealer to be heat molded to your feet. Alternatively, simply wear the boots and over time your body heat will mold them to your feet.

HEAT MOLDING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SHOP USE ONLY Equipment Required • Heat Stacks • 1 pair of Intuition toe caps • 1 pair of thin ski socks or thin black nylon Intuition stockings • A second pair of thin black nylon Intuition stockings Warning • Do not raise temperature above 119 degrees Celsius for molding liners • Do not put wet liners on heat stacks • Heat stacks should not be used as boot dryers • Remove packaging and foot beds before heating liners

Instructions: 1. Remove packaging and foot bed (if necessary) from liner (FIGURE 5A, 5B) 2. Place boots on heating tubes (FIGURE 5C) • For tongue style models, both tubes should be inside liners • For wrap liners, place the shorter tube between

3. Turn on heater and set timer to 10 minutes 4. Prepare customer for boot molding • Put on knee length ski socks • Place a toe cap over the customers toes (FIGURE 5D) • Put on a thin black nylon Intuition stocking (FIGURE 5E, 5F)

5. Mold liners • When timer sounds, insert foot bed (if necessary) and put boots on customer’s feet as quickly as possible •

Buckle up boot snug and secure, but not too tight. It is normal for toe caps to be uncomfortable for the customer during molding

Customer should stand on a 1-2 inch lifter for 10 minutes with knees slightly bent and heels down. A piece of 2x4 lumber works well. It is best to not move around while the liner forms and cools (FIGURE 5G)

6. Assess fit • When liners have cooled, remove boots, stockings, and toe caps. Have customer put on their typical ski socks and assess fit EXTRA TIPS: • Have customer try on boots before heat molding. If the liner initially feels tight, buckle the boot tight to compress foam and create more room. If the liner initially feels loose, buckle the boot somewhat loose to avoid compressing foam • Liners can be reheated and reformed if they do not take proper shape during first forming

INTERCHANGEABLE TONGUES The stiffness of Full Tilt boots can be adjusted by changing tongues. There are a variety of aftermarket tongue flexes available: 4-10 (10 = Stiffest) 1. Pull tongue forward 2. Use pliers, screwdriver, or fingers to pull one side of metal clip out of plastic shell (FIGURE 6A) 3. Remove other side of metal clip and remove tongue 4. Attach new tongue with metal clip

FORWARD LEAN The forward lean can be adjusted on Original and Soul shells by using a thicker or thinner forward lean shim. The boot comes with the standard 2mm thick shim installed.

1. Remove liner and push the rear cuff as far forward as possible 2. Remove the existing shim (FIGURE 7A) 3. Replace shim 4. Replace liner

The forward lean can be changed on Evolution shells by adjusting the forward lean position 1. Loosen the screw with a M4 hex key (FIGURE 7B) 2. Slide the plastic piece up or down to the desired setting. There are three settings available: • 14° forward (FIGURE 7C) • 12° forward (FIGURE 7D) • 10° forward (FIGURE 7E) 3. Tighten the screw

CUFF ALIGNMENT The cuff alignment can be adjusted on Original and Soul shells by using the supplied inserts or by adjusting the lateral cant disc Directions for adjusting medial cuff alignment: 1. Remove the medial cuff screw, medial cuff disc, and insert (FIGURE 8A) 2. Replace with the desired new insert (FIGURE 8B, 8C, 8D) 3. Replace the medial cuff disc and tighten the screw

Directions for adjusting lateral cuff alignment: 1. Loosen lateral cuff screw 2. Rotate lateral cuff disc to desired setting (FIGURE 8E, 8F) 3. Tighten lateral cuff screw 4. The cuff alignment can be adjusted on Evolution shells by rotating the lateral cuff rivet (FIGURE 8G)

OUTSOLE REPLACEMENT If outsoles become worn, the heel or toe/heel can be replaced.

DIRECTIONS FOR CHANGING EVOLUTION: 1. Remove the front two machine screws from toe nut plate (FIGURE 9A, 9B) 2. Remove the six screws from toe and heel outsoles 3. Remove the outsoles and replace with new ones 4. Re-attach the two machine screws to the toe nut plate (Note: sometimes nut plate will push into shell.

It may be necessary to realign the nut plate with front toe holes.)

5. Re-attach the six screws to the toe and heel outsoles

DIRECTIONS FOR CHANGING ORIGINAL AND SOUL: 1. Remove two and nine screws respectively from toe and/or heel outsole (FIGURE 9C) 2. Remove the outsoles and replace with new ones 3. Re-attach all screws to toe and heel outsoles

AFTERMARKET CUSTOMIZATION Unlike any other ski boot on the market, we sell every part of this boot aftermarket for your convenience and personal customization. Many parts are even offered in multiple sizes to provide you with the ability to gain an even more precise fit, including multiple cable lengths.

MAINTENANCE/STORAGE • The outer shell can be cleaned with mild soap and water if necessary • Do not use solvents on plastic shell • Allow boots to dry before storing • Store indoors in a dry environment away from direct sunlight

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION • Full Tilt ski boots are designed only for skiing. Full Tilt does not condone the use of the boots for any purpose other than skiing • Maintain your equipment so that it functions properly during use • Ensure toe and heel outsoles are not worn before use. Excessive outsole wear could negatively affect binding function • Remove foreign materials (snow, ice, dirt, rocks, etc.) from outsoles before stepping into bindings • Ensure buckles and power straps are closed while skiing • Your skis, boots, and bindings operate as a system.

Mounting and adjustment by a qualified technician is required so the system functions properly • Failure to comply with these instructions could compromise the safety and performance of your equipment

WARNING Skiing is a hazardous sport with inherent and other risks of injury that must be appreciated and accepted. Please use caution and ski at your own risk and pursuant to all rules and regulations in force at the area or resort at which you are skiing.

No ski boot will protect you in all situations, even if used/worn appropriately. In addition, the proper release of your ski—binding—boot system cannot be predicted and 100% guaranteed in every situation that could lead to injury or death. When you are about to ski, always check to ensure that your boots are properly closed and that your bindings have been adjusted correctly.
