CAFE TONERICO Minutes from Gokoku Jinja Shrine, a small sign on Keyaki-dori beckons you to a backstreet cafe with a unique tunnel-like entrance. Run by Sayaka Kitagawa and her parents, the interior motif is rural southern France, with interesting objets d'art in every nook. A glass wall lets in ample natural light, but the terrace seats are also comfy. Lunch is available until sold out. The Tonerico Lunch (¥1,420) includes one main, an assortment of six sides, salad, multigrain rice with beans, miso soup, dessert and a drink. Also, try the homemade cheesecake and original herbal tea blend.

The staff at Masaya Bicycle Works are passionate about three things: high-end bicycles, specialty coffee and tasty cafe food. So it’s no surprise to find hip cafes right inside both Masaya stores. 5 Cafe, located next door to Chihaya Station, is a convenient pit stop on the way to Shikanoshima and the up-and-coming Island City neighborhood. The bagels, biscotti and muffins are handmade daily from select natural ingredients. For lunch, try the BLT (¥442) with thick-cut bacon. Or stop by for breakfast and a cappuccino, if your weekend plans are taking you eastward.

腳踏車店家經營販賣的極品咖啡以及提供每日純手工現做的貝果、 義大利咖啡餅乾、馬芬蛋糕等甜點。最初只是想能夠一邊喝著咖 啡一邊欣賞自己最愛的腳踏車，在這樣的想法下在腳踏車店「正屋」 裡，開設了咖啡廳。位於延伸副都心概念的千早站附近，呈現與 天神和博多不同的輕鬆雰圍，挑高的屋頂開放式的空間讓人感到 自在。週末外出時一定要記得來份好吃又方便的碳烤培根三明治 吧（¥442)。

자 전거 가게가 운영하 는 카페이지만 스페셜티커피만 을 사 용하 며 베이글은 두부 가게의 두유와 사탕무로 만든 첨채당, 천연 소금, 통밀을 반죽해 매일 직접 만들고 비스코티, 머핀 등도 엄선된 소재로 직접 만드는 제대로 된 카페. 시카노섬과 아일랜드 시티로 이어지는 부도심 구상에 따라 현재 개발 중인 치하야역 근처에 위치하고 있어 텐진이나 하 카타와 는 또 다른 느긋한 분 위기이며 가게 내부 는 천장이 높아 개방감을 준다. 후쿠오카시 동쪽 구역을 여행할 계획이라면 이곳에서 BLT샌드위치(442엔)를 사서 출발하는 것도 좋을 듯하다. 5 Cafe 千早店 5 Cafe Chihaya 4-15-12 Chihaya, Higashi-ku 11:00~20:00 (Weekends & Hol.: 9:00~). FUKUOKA - THE NOODLE CITY
Located in the retro-chic Sankaku Ichiba near Yakuin Station, Warabe’s specialty is “yakisoba”. Owner Yuji Endo spent over 20 years honing his craft at his popular teppan izakaya in Hiroshima, but re-opened Warabe here in March 2015. Endo uses thin noodles and a slightly sweet sauce, and each serving uses approximately 220 g of veggies. One bite and you’ll see how the thin noodles pair perfectly with the finely chopped cabbage, crunchy bean sprouts and flavorful pork. The sauce, which does not overpower, ties it all together. For Endo, preparation and ingredients are key. He buys his noodles and sauce from Hiroshima and uses Yayoi-brand pork from Hisayama Town. “I don’t think my yakisoba is perfect yet, so I’ll keep trying to make it even better,” confides Endo. Yakisoba may be a simple dish, but doing it right requires dedication like Endo’s. It’s usually packed 童童 in the evenings, so go at lunchtime when 「童童」就在藥院大道旁的「三角市場」裡。在充滿老街 only yakisoba is served and Warabe is at 氛圍的店前用手寫著招牌的「炒麵」。使用比平常的炒麵 還細的麵條，加上偏甜醬料創造獨特的風格，一人份炒 its best! 麵使用的蔬菜量是讓人滿足的 220g。一口吃下去，粗細 剛好的麵條、口感爽脆的野菜、加上份量十足卻又不膩 口的五花肉一起衝擊你的味蕾。不惜重資購入久山町產 的彌生豬、花 5 個小時天然的豬油等等，從細節隨處可 見到對料理的堅持。 「還沒！還沒達到最完美的味道。我 想追求更好吃的炒麵！」- 店長遠藤先生這麼說，來體 會更深奧的炒麵世界吧！

산카쿠 시장 내에 위치한 와라베. 손으로 쓴 ‘야키소바’라는 글자에서 알 수 있듯이 이곳에서 먹어야 하는 간판 메뉴는 야키소바이다. 히로시마에서 20년 이상 철판 이자카야를 경영했던 오너 엔도씨가 후쿠오카시로 자리를 옮겨 가게를 오픈한 것이 2015년 3월. 약 1년 만에 히로시마에서부터 인기 있었던 야키소바가 후쿠오카 사람들의 입맛을 사로잡았다. 일반적인 야키소바보다 가는 면을 사용해 달달한 소스로 마무리하는 독자적인 스타일로 1인분에 들어가는 채소 양은 약 200g. 면 굵기에 맞춰 가늘게 썬 양배추, 아삭아삭한 식감의 숙주, 존재감이 느껴지면서도 크게 튀지 않는 돼지고기 등의 재료가 면과 잘 어우러져있다. 야키소바의 심오한 세계를 히로시마발 와라베에서 느껴보시길!

There are over 20,000 new tuberculosis patients every year in Japan and it affects not only the elderly but younger generations too. If diagnosed early, it can be cured; undiagnosed, untreated cases, however, can spread and even result in death. The main symptoms are coughing, fever, phlegm, phlegm with blood, chest pain, dullness, night sweats and weight loss. If you have had a cough for over two weeks or have any of the above symptoms, please get checked. Fukuoka City offers free chest X-ray examinations for students at Japanese language schools and their families, and people who entered Japan within the last five years and are yet to have been examined.

일본에서는 연간 2만 명 이상의 결핵 환자가 발생하고 있습니다. 젊은 세대에서도 발병하는 등 결핵은 현대인의 병이라고 해도 이상할 것이 없습니다. 조기에 발견했을 경우에는 평소와 같이 생활하면서 통원 치료만 해도 괜찮지만 조치를 취하지 않았을 때에는 주위 사람들에게 병을 옮길 수도 있고 심할 경우 사망에 이르기도 합니다. 결핵의 주된 증상은, 기침, 가래, 발열, 권태감 등으로 일반적인 감기 증상과 비슷합니다. 기침 등이 오래가거나 할 경우(2주 이상)에는 병원을 찾아 진찰을 받는 것이 좋습니다. ※후쿠오카시에서는 일본어 교육시설의 유학생과 유학생 가족 등 입국 5년 이내의 단기 재일 외국인 중 검진기회가 없는 분께 무료로 흉부 X선촬영을 실시하고 있습니다. 이번 기회에 꼭 검진을 받아보시기 바랍니다.

he town of Tanushimaru is famous as the birthplace of Kyoho grapes, known as the “king of grapes”. It’s also where the first vineyards in Japan were opened to tourists. Brewing wine from 100% Tanushimarugrown Kyoho grapes, this is Kyushu’s oldest winery (since 1972), with a winemaking process unique to Japan. Besides Kyoho grapes, they also produce fruit wine from fruits such as blueberries, Amaou strawberries and persimmons picked from neighboring farms. Look for their green signs. � Entry is free; includes some (limited) tasting. � Peek inside the hole in the paper bag to check size and color. Prices vary by season, but generally ¥1,100 ~ ¥2,000/kg. � There are various kinds of grapes, including their famous dark purple Khoyo, green Muscat and others.

HOJOYA FESTIVAL Autumn’s Biggest Festival in Fukuoka

This seven-day festival has a history of over one thousand years, and gives thanks for the blessings of nature. It’s one of Fukuoka’s big three festivals, and draws over one million visitors every year! Watch religious rituals and stage performances, and explore the one-kilometer path to the shrine, which is filled with 500 stalls offering games, tasty snacks (like takoyaki), fresh ginger and more. From Shinto rituals to stage performances to busy street stalls, Hojoya offers the entire Japanese festival experience! 這個感謝大自然恩惠的七日祭典已持續了千年以上的歷史，是福岡三大祭典之一。 每年吸引超過一百萬人次旅客造訪！觀賞宗教儀式和舞台演出，或者探訪到神社前 一公里的路徑，琳琅滿目的 500 個攤位，包含了各種遊戲、美味小吃（像是章魚燒） 、 和生薑等。從莊嚴的神社儀式到忙碌的路邊攤販，在放生會體驗完整的日式祭典！ 하카타를 대표하는 축제 하코자키구 호죠야. 1주일에 걸쳐 본전에서는 여러 의식이 치러지며 경내에서는 각종 행사가 열린다. 만물의 생명을 가엾이 여기고 살생을 경계하며 가을의 결실에 감사하는 이 축제의 기원은 1000년도 더 되었다고. 참배로에는 귀신의 집과 각종 게임, 수확해 바로 출하하는 신선한 생강 등 500여 개의 노점이 들어서며 총 100만 명이 방문한다.
