After Care
Fuchsia Green produce a personalised After care handbook for guidance. We can also recommend garden maintenence companies to assist you.
Plans.
Fuchsia Green do everything we can to communicate our ideas clearly, so you understand how you garden will look and feel. Three dimensional visuals are standard, accompanied by 2 dimensional scaled drawings, moodboards and in person meetings to present proposals on screen with printed documents for you to keep.
A typical design process will include sketch proposals, perspective views, revisions, Masterplan, material specification, as well as lighting and planting plans.
The design process usually takes around 6-8 weeks from survey to receiving a contractor estimate. Often there is a waiting time between your first contact and when we can start the project. Also a lead time before the contractor can start to build your garden. So its advisable to start the process in plenty of time if you have a completion date in mind.
Budget.
Your available budget is an important part of the brief and design process to ensure you have realistic expectations for your investment . Before we start a project its important to have clear communication regarding your budget and we will advise to our best ability from the outset.
Budgets to realise our designs start at £20,000+ for small gardens and courtyards, £40,000+ for the average size plot and rising for large gardens, long wish lists and difficult site access or conditions.
Contractor estimates are fixed for 6 months. Although its a good idea to have a contingency available for extra services, inflation of material costs or unexpected problems that could not have been predicted before demolition or clearance had started.
