Snack provided. October 15: PARENT’S DAY OUT-- SUPER SATURDAY, THREE SESSIONS: > 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ($16 per child), lunch provided (11:30 a.m.) > 1 to 5 p.m. ($16 per child), snack provided (3 p.m.) > 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ($32 per child), lunch and snack provided. Register and pay by October 7. Care will be provided at the Child Development Center I, Bldg. 4024. All children must be registered with CYSS to receive services. For more information call 361-7713. Army Family Covenant benefits are available for Families of Deployed Soldiers, Wounded Soldiers or Fallen Soldiers.

October 11: CUDDLE CURE CLASS 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Child Development Center I, Building 4024 Learn how to soothe your fussy baby in five minutes or less. This two hour class is recommended for anyone who has interest in the well being of infants from birth to 3 months of age. Limited free child care available. This is a partnership with ACS and CYSS. October 15: COMMUNITY CPR AND FIRST AID 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Youth Center, Bldg. 4109 This class will cover infant, child and adult CPR/AED with First Aid techniques. Participants will receive American Heart Association certifications for successful completion of this program. Please bring your lunch with you. For more information, call 361-7713. October 26: PARENT YOUTH ACTION COUNCIL MEETING 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Youth Center, Bldg. 4109 Have your voice heard. Be part of the committee and help change what’s going on in the community. This session will cover winter break acitivies. October 27: THINKING HEALTHY DURING THE HOLIDAYS 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Child Development Center I, Building 4024 This community workshop focuses on identifying some of temptations faced during the holiday season and ways to keep healthy and fit. Participants will receive holiday recipe cards and hand outs. Limited free child care is available however pre-registration is required by October 19. ROMP & STOMP WITH CYSS AND ACS: This month’s focus- Services available at Fort Wainwright You and your child are welcome to join the fun and make new friends! Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Last Frontier Community Activity Center, Bldg. 1044. Transportation is available to and from Northern Lights Inn, call 361-7713 for more information.
