FTI News The FTI youngsters visit our bees People were amazed, asked about, but also helped diligently; last week, the children of various colleagues visited our bees for the first time together with beekeeper Jürgen. Jürgen, who is himself a father of two sons, dedicated a lot of time for the little ones, but of course also for the big ones (and their many questions). One of the beehives was opened and they had a look into the home of the FTI Group’s bees. Some of the little ones, out of curiosity, turned the hives upside down, but thanks to the protective equipment, they didn’t even get a single sting. Jürgen explained exactly where the brood is, where the honey is, and why a beekeeper sometimes has to feed them. In order to protect the bees from the upcoming cold season, a small board was cut and placed on top of the hive so they keep warm Now our bees are well prepared for the winter!

Greece has ceased to be a high risk area since September 12th, hence another reason to enjoy your holidays in Hellas . FTI is therefore extending the season on Crete and Rhodes, so that selected FTI partner hotels will open again this year beyond the summer season and until the end of November. Employee Milestone by Andrew Micallef

Andrew Micallef has recently joined the Meeting Point International BCC team and gave us the best description of ‘Passion’ for him. “My passion is for storytelling, and that can be about anything and found on an innumerable variety of media. My absolute favourite are cinema and gaming, as they both provide the most immersive storytelling experience. Watching great television shows like Peaky Blinders, or great films like Interstellar, or playing great games like Breath of the Wild are amongst my favourites. The ability stories have to focus your attention and give you something to enjoy and think about in an artful way is incomparable. Stories told by masterful storytellers can stay with you for a lifetime; and when stories are played out in cinematic or in gameplay form, you can immerse yourself in a world or a story fabricated purely by ideas and creativity, whose sole purpose is to entertain and absorb you within itself.”

During the month of September, the FTI Supplier Relations team, collected and donated money to princess Kate who was diagnosed at a very young age with a genetic and rare disease named ‘Tatton Brown Rahmann Syndrome’. We would like to thank all the colleagues who donated, you surely do make the world a better place! Well done people.

A Typical D

Ann Chris Head of Repr 17 years o

Bubbly, fun, energetic, and a mother of two,. This month we met with Ann Christine Tanti who has been Malta since 2003 and working with Meeting Point Malta since 2004.

She is a well believer in prepping anything the night before, including the children lunches, her h breakfast (if duty the next day) and her morning coffee (setting up a timer to her coffee machine, right be wakes up)… I know that’s so organised!! Nothing goes unplanned with her .

Ann is not quite a morning person, so please do not speak to her straight away. Her routine goes by first having a quick check in her E-mail inbox, coffee before saying ‘good morning’ and That is her motivation and boost to start up her day, also the only time she has for herself. When she do she would feel tired all day long! When the scholastic year starts, she also sends her children to schoo little one to the nursery. It is all mentally and that is why she is so positive towards life.

Work…she loves, loves, loves what she do! Being the Head of Representatives here in Malta. When in the tourism industry there is no working hours. She starts once she opens her eyes by checking her em see whether there were any emergency correspondence that had to be solved as soon as possible, o that, she heads to gym as mentioned earlier. If any emergency pops up, she postpones her gym session time. If there are any difficulties she is the first contact person for her team so she needs to be available Even though she is the head of the team, she considers herself as a front liner. She loves being out in meeting all the staff, and our clients. This helps her constantly understand the situation of the whole o and not forget what the actual hands-on work involves. An ongoing learning process is very important fo she always grasps on new things to improve herself and we believe this is what got her to her current r

Weekend is dedicated to her 12 year old daughter Skye Aisha and the little one Neyna Liv , and of cour time because that is also very important. You will not find her staying inside, she has everything sche jam packed fun weekends. During summer it was always beach, beach, beach and during winter more on walks and bike rides.

Her life moto is ‘ALWAYS LIVE YOUR DREAMS, IF YOU CAN’T DREAM ANYMORE AND HAVE NOTH ACHIEVE, IT IS SIMPLY SAD.’
