The College of Music proudly invites you to the 2025–26 season— celebrating 125 years of music, excellence, and community. What began in 1900 with just one initial teacher of vocal and instrumental music has grown into one of the nation’s premier music institutions. This milestone year honors our rich legacy while spotlighting the bold, diverse voices shaping our future.
Our celebratory season features a historic performance by the University Symphony Orchestra, presenting an all-women ensemble in tribute to our founding orchestra and its storied tradition as a women’s college. You’ll also experience dynamic performances by our outstanding students, renowned faculty, and guest artists from around the globe, including Grammy-winning pianist Helen Sung with the Honors Jazz Combo, the Akropolis Reed Quintet, and Kendell Marvel.
From Respighi’s Pines of Rome to Massenet’s Cendrillon to choral festivals, there’s something for every listener. Become a member of the University Musical Associates to support the next generation of musicians and be part of this historic season.
Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the next 125 years of music at FSU!
Our Concert Series is a great way to begin your FSU music experience as we feature our professionallevel ensembles throughout the season. Join us for an evening of inspired performances of choral, orchestral or wind music or get your jazz fix with our big bands and combo nights.
