The design is always an unknown territory for me, I have to explore it thoroughly over and over again to see the connections. The process as a whole is a great adventure, a long journey, and at the end of it, the best feeling is to arrive.

TURN
Entry for the Toyota Logistic Design Competition
SEMESTER: 3rd semester, BA2, autumn semester, 2021
COURSE: Industrial Design I.
LECTURER: István Keszei
The aim of the course is to prepare for the 2022 Toyota Logistic Design Competition. Our task was to rethink innovative developments in urban micro-logistics.
TURN is a parcel delivery service that relies on the existing tram infrastructure to replace freight vehicles, which are mainly used to transport personal or small parcels. This reduces the congestion of car traffic in the city centre. The parcel delivery system will be anchored to the tram to deliver parcels to their destination by continuously shuttling between different stops. The parcel is picked up on the platform and tracked via a mobile app.

On the platform, the user has 7 minutes to load and unload a parcel from the terminal before returning to the carrier.

Tracking is made easy with a mobile app. An instant connection is established.

The terminal is made of stainless steel, making it weatherproof and safe.
Delivery without packaging
Ethylene -vinyl- acetate (EVA)
This sponge material is flexible and lightweight. It is highly durable, waterproof and UV resistant.

The outer ring ensures rotary movement.

The door can be operated with a digital pressure sensor panel. Easy to operate, user-friendly, clean interfaces.

NALU
Cooperation with plywood manufacturer Multipraktik

SEMESTER: Semester 4, BA2, Spring Semester, 2022
COURSE: Experimental Design 2.

LECTURER: András Kerékgyártó
PHOTOGRAPHER: Máté Lakos
The aim of the course is to design a potential product based on the potential uses of the material produced by the manufacturer. Nalu is an excellent home or workplace filing assistant. The elements of the unit can be removed and inserted into the rails of the double track base structure, making it easy to personalise with its variable elements. Its clean yet striking use of materials and colours makes it a stylish addition to the overall look of the space.
The core of Multipraktik’s plywood product range is the production of pinpong bats. The raw material produced by the company offers a wealth of possibilities, combining the many species and colours of wood used. The assignment gave us the opportunity not only to design objects and designs, but also to create material combinations. Thanks to the openness of the manufacturer, we were able to gain an insight into the workings of the workshop, thus gaining a great deal of experience.

THENAR PROTECTOR
Device for triggering the thenar muscle
SEMESTER: 2th Semester, BA2, Spring Semester, 2022
COURSE: Service and system 1.
LECTURER: István Keszei
The target group of the grip and squeezing device designed by me was the elderly and people with hand problems. My objective was to exclude the thenar, the thumb muscle found in the hand, which is responsible for the clamping capacity of our mark. This muscle significantly loses its performance capacity through injuries or aging processes, which is a problem on every day. With my concept, i reflect on overcoming this problem.

The tool needs further development in the future, but the problem is real. As someone with arthritis, I find it difficult to use my thumb to exert force, so I can experience the problem first hand. Throughout the extensive research, the target group has grown. The muscle performance of older people over 65 years of age declines by more than 50% over time. In addition to muscle weakening, the tensile strength of the tendons also weakens. This makes it increasingly difficult to hold, grip and hold on. When the thenar protector is used, the load on the fingers is reduced by raising the palm, i.e. the gripping surface. It relieves the load, facilitates grip and holding, and can be personalised.

YUMI

Designing the urban micromobility of the future in a team effort.
SEMESTER: Semester 5, BA3, Autumn Semester, 2022
COURSE: Service and System II - Micromobility
CONSULTANT: András Húnfalvi, Dániel Ruppert
CO-DESIGNER: Zsófia Mátravölgyi
Design of a personal transport vehicle for 2030 for a city of your choice, with a maximum surface area of two square metres and a maximum of three wheels.
YUMi is a micromobile transport device for children, which offers a shared transport option for children and their parents in the city of Budapest envisioned for 2030. The vehicle is designed to involve preschool children in transport. The adult and the child’s vehicle are connected by software, and the concept is the control of both vehicles is in the hands of the parent.

The seat’s tilted shape allows children between 4 and 7 years of age to use the vehicle comfortably.

RECEPTION DESK
for an electronics manufacturing company
SEMESTER: Semester 5, BA3, Autumn Semester, 2022
COURSE: Industrial Design II - Design
LECTURER: Dániel Lakos
The course involved designing a reception desk for an imaginary company. I designed a reception desk for an electronics manufacturer. We were able to identify the most characteristic features of the company, even through the range of products it offers. The reception desk aims to represent the complex work of the company. In this case, the structure of a complex system, which is made up of a number of small units that form a whole. The final form is thus a complex spatial element reminiscent of the internal structure of a microchip, which creates an impression that is both startling and elegant.

LUFI CHAIR
Chair rehabilitation in 6 weeks
SEMESTER: Semester 5, BA3, Autumn Semester, 2022
COURSE: Industrial design II - Chair rehabilitation 5.0

LECTURER: István Juhász, András Kerékgyártó
PHOTOGRAPHER: Máté Lakos
Chair rehabilitation is a six-week course aimed at rehabilitating the „budapest’ chair. We participated in an intensive, workshopcentred design process. During the design of the LUFI chair, my aim was to counterbalance the rigid, angular frame with a more airy, lightweight design. Imitating balloons as a gag, they give the chair as a whole a slightly fairytale-like feel, while also accentuating the frame.

THE MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES USED TO MAKE THE „BALLOONS”

1. 10mm - steel tube
threaded, turned
2. 32 mm - beech wood tool handle turned, drilled
3. modell balloons
fixed to the internal structure by a special technique
4. m8 cylindrical head screw

FREND
Designing a sports partner
SEMESTER: Semester 6, BA3, Spring Semester, 2023
COURSE: Integrated design
LECTURER: Fanni Csernátony, István Juhász
PHOTOGRAPHER: Me
The FREND allows you to move more freely with your dog. This harness, which can be attached to the upper and lower arms, allows you to use your hands freely when walking or running with your dog. And the additional waist harness provides extra security.
