Lean Thinking Lean Thinking

La producción de muebles en Frost-trol está basada en el Pensamiento Lean, un método de organización del trabajo que se centra en la mejora continua y optimización del sistema de producción mediante la eliminación de desperdicios y actividades que no suman ningún tipo de valor al proceso productivo, desde el diseño del producto, pasando por la producción y terminando en el servicio.

El objetivo fundamental del Lean es el de minimizar las pérdidas que se producen en cualquier proceso de fabricación y en utilizar solo aquellos recursos que sean imprescindibles, mejorando la calidad y reduciendo el tiempo de fabricación y costes, enfocando el sistema en las actividades que añaden valor al cliente.

The production of the cabinets in Frost-trol is based on Lean Thinking, a method of organization of work that focuses on the continuous improvement and optimization of the production system by eliminating waste and activities that add no value to the production process, from product design, through production and ending in service.

The main objective of the Lean is to minimize the losses that occur in any manufacturing process and to use only those resources that are essential, improving quality and reducing manufacturing time and costs, focusing the system on the activities that add value to the customer.

Las nuevas tecnologías que de forma incipiente están comenzando a formar parte de nuestras vidas están orientadas a optimizar y perfeccionar los productos que nos envuelven en nuestro día a día, y aunque todavía se encuentren en una fase muy inicial, no cabe duda de que todas estas tecnologías están llamadas a protagonizar una revolución similar a la que generó internet en nuestra sociedad.

En las últimas décadas, el sector del frío, considerado por muchos como una industria invisible, ha reunido innumerables esfuerzos para incrementar el rendimiento energético de los muebles acorde a una normativa cada vez más restrictiva en materia de impacto medio ambiental, ya que al consumo eléctrico de los sistemas de producción de frío se le atribuye la principal responsabilidad del casi 8% de las emisiones totales de gases de efecto invernadero vertidas a la atmósfera.

En una época en la que se encuentra consolidado el conocimiento científico adquirido por centros tecnológicos y grupos de investigación sobre nuevas configuraciones orientadas a mejorar el rendimiento energético de los equipos de producción de frío, es el momento de integrar la inteligencia artificial como herramienta que permita implementar todo el conocimiento adquirido por la comunidad científica en los productos comerciales. Hay que entender que no estamos ante una época de cambios, sino, más bien, ante un cambio de época, y por ello en Frost-trol llevamos un tiempo trabajando en el desarrollo de equipos de refrigeración con capacidad de adaptar su funcionamiento a las condiciones del entorno gracias a la inclusión de cálculos termodinámicos y psicrométricos que permitan que el mueble ajuste su rendimiento energético ante cualquier escenario.

The new technologies that are incipiently starting to be part of our lives are aimed at optimizing and perfecting the products that surround us in our day to day, and although they are still at a very early stage, there is no doubt that all these technologies are called to lead a revolution similar to that generated by the Internet in our society.

In recent decades, the cold sector, regarded by many as an invisible industry, has brought together countless efforts to increase the energy performance of furniture in line with increasingly restrictive environmental impact regulations, as the electricity consumption of cold production systems is attributed the main responsibility of almost 8% of the total greenhouse gas emissions discharged into the atmosphere.

At a time when the scientific knowledge acquired by technology centers and research groups on new configurations aimed at improving the energy performance of cold production equipment is consolidated, it is time to integrate artificial intelligence as a tool that allows to implement all the knowledge acquired by the scientific community in commercial products. We must understand that we are not facing a time of change, but rather in the face of a change of era, and that is why in Frost-trol we have been working for a while in the development of refrigeration equipment with the capacity to adapt its operation to the confections of the environment thanks to the inclusion of thermodynamic and psychometric calculations that allow the furniture to adjust its energy performance in any scenary.

Air curtain DCR En nuestros muebles verticales llevamos años trabajando en la optimización de la cortina de aire para la correcta distribución del flujo, garantizando su verticalidad para reducir al máximo el intercambio térmico entre el interior y el exterior del mueble, aumentando la eficiencia energética, asegurando la temperatura de los productos y su seguridad alimentaria.

Para ello, a lo largo de los últimos años hemos ido evolucionando el diseño de la distribución del flujo de aire del mueble, creando una cortina de aire doble capaz de generar un perfil diferencial de velocidad.

In our vertical cabinets we have been working for years in optimizing the air curtain for the correct distribution of the flow ensuring its verticality to minimize the thermal exchange between the interior and exterior of the cabinet, increasing energy efficiency, ensuring the temperature of the products and their food safety.

To do this, over the last few years we have been evolving the design of the distribution of the air flow of the cabinet, creating a double air curtain capable of generating a differential speed profile.

TYPES OF LED LIGHTING

La optimización del flujo lumínico para una correcta exposición de los productos es uno de los puntos clave en los que hacemos un mayor hincapié durante el proceso de diseño de nuestros muebles.

Optimizing the light flow for a correct exposure of the products is one of the key points in which we place a greater emphasis during the design process of our cabinets.

Actualmente equipamos todos nuestros muebles con iluminación LED integrada, con un tubo mucho más compacto pero que proporciona una mayor cantidad de lúmenes, y un aspecto mucho más homogéneo gracias a la cubierta translúcida que permite difuminar los puntos de luz.

Currently we equip all our cabinets with integrated LED lighting, with a much more compact tube but that provides a greater amount of lumens and a much more homogeneous appearance thanks to the translucent cover that allows to blur the points of light.

Los múltiples tamaños de tubos disponibles actualmente permiten una perfecta adaptación para cualquier altura y modulación de mueble.

The multiple tube sizes currently available allow a perfect fit for any height and cabinet modulation.

LED ON SHELVES

A unique piece has been designed to optimize light flow thanks to the new position of the LED tube, which passes in front of the shelf. This piece has different positions depending on whether the shelf is straight or inclined, allowing to improve the passage of the air curtain. In addition, this piece also allows to place a new price tag much more manageable, designed in an antireflective plastic material.

Hemos trabajado para reducir el tamaño del tubo de iluminación en los montantes de las puertas para que maximizar la visibilidad del producto, mejorando simultáneamente el espectro de luz que se emiten.

The top canopy lighting is placed on the screens with a magneting system that facilitates its assembly. In this case we offer the possibility of adding an additional tube placed in the upper fairing, which allows to emphasize the lighting of the product exposed on the top shelf.

Se ha diseñado una pieza exclusiva para optimizar el flujo lumínico gracias a la nueva posición del tubo LED, que pasa por delante del estante.

Esta pieza tiene diferentes posiciones en función de si el estante está recto o inclinado, permitiendo mejorar el paso de la cortina de aire. Además, esta pieza también permite colocar un nuevo portaprecios mucho más manejable, diseñado en un material plástico antirreflejante.

Como parte fundamental en el diseño de la gama de murales Solid Lines, se ha trabajado en la búsqueda de las puertas más apropiadas maximizando los elementos transparentes y minimizando los marcos, especialmente en el caso de los modelos Full Vision, para potenciar al máximo la correcta visualización del producto expuesto, mejorando considerablemente la experiencia de compra del cliente final, que valora muy positivamente el compromiso del establecimiento que aporta soluciones sostenibles para la reducción del consumo energético.

As a fundamental part of the design of the Solid Lines vertical multidecks range, we have been working on finding the most appropriate doors maximizing transparent elements and minimizing frames, especially in the case of Full Vision models, to maximize the correct display of the exposed product, greatly improving the buying experience of the end customer, which values very positively the commitment of the establishment that provides sustainable solutions for the reduction of energy consumption.

En el rediseño de la gama de murales Solid Lines hemos incorporado la opción de añadir unos ventiladores en la parte inferior, que permiten la circulación del aire, saliendo a través de una rejilla e impactando sobre la puerta mitigan considerablemente los posibles problemas de condensación debidos a una alta humedad en el establecimiento. La incorporación de este sistema de ventilación conlleva un ligero incremento de la altura del mueble.

In the redesign of the Solid Lines vertical cabinet range we have incorporated the option to add fans at the bottom, which allow air to circulate, exiting through a grille and impacting the door considerably mitigate the possible condensation problems due to high humidity in the establishment. The incorporation of this ventilation system leads to a slight increase in the height of the cabinet.

All our doors are formed by a double low emissive glass that allows greater thermal insulation, reducing the exchange of temperature between the inside and outside of the cabinet. The incorporation of the doors helps to reduce energy consumption, ensuring constant temperatures inside the vertical and the feeling of comfort in the aisles for end customers.

Los laterales de los murales cuentan con dos cristales templados separados por un perfil separador desarrollado con material Super Spacer que mejora considerablemente la eficiencia térmica de la pieza.

The vertical multideck’s gable ends have two tempered crystals separated by a separator profile developed with Super Spacer material that greatly improves the thermal efficiency of the part.

El Super Spacer es un perful separador de espuma de silicona estructural de polímero termoendurecible extrudido, con desecantes integrados, al que se le da forma durante el proceso de polimerización. Este material conserva su flexibilidad dentro de un amplio rango de temperaturas, recupera siempre su forma termopolimerizada original contando con un bajo índice de compresión.

The Super Spacer is an extruded thermosetting polymer structural silicone foam separator profile, with integrated desiccants, which is shaped during the polymerization process.

This material retains its flexibility within a wide temperature range, always recovers its original thermopolymerized shape with a low compression index.

Los laterales intermedios se utilizan en la formación de grandes lineales, separando productos expuestos que precisan una temperatura de trabajo diferente. Estos laterales siempre son espejo a las dos caras, incrustando estos dentro de la propia pieza.

Todas las piezas que conforman la zona de exposición del producto en nuestros muebles están recubiertas con pintura Epoxy especialmente diseñada para uso alimentario, ofreciendo la máxima seguridad y certificación para contacto directo o indirecto con alimentos y bebidas, cumpliendo con todas las normativas*1 y ensayos precisos para ello.

The double-glazed gable ends allow a panoramic view of the exposed products. Ideal for finishing linears that are located in a visible part of the store.

MIRROR OPAQUE (PIECE OF GLASS)

These gable ends feature a thermal insulation part injected with an outer veneer cover and a glass on the inside of the cabinet. This allows to increase the feeling of abundance inside the furniture.

The opaque gable ends also feature an injected polyurethane piece covered by an outer veneer cover and an inner part that is painted the same color as the rear fairings, trays and shelves.

INTERMEDIOS

Intermediate gable ends are used in the formation of large linears, separating exposed products that require a different working temperature. These sides are always mirror to the two sides, embedding these within the piece itself.

En todos aquellos modelos de mural y semimural versión ND (sin puertas) ofrecemos la posibilidad de incluir cortinas nocturnas con freno hidráulico o motorizadas. Esta cortina permitirá mantener mejor la temperatura en el interior del mueble durante las horas en las que la tienda esté cerrada.

El TTC es un sistema de control táctil que permite la regulación de los parámetros más habituales en cualquier mueble de refrigeración, pero aportando un toque de modernidad y tecnología, gracias a su integración total dentro de la estructura del mueble.

En la gama Solid Lines de murales hemos incluido la opción de ventilación en el faldón. Los ventiladores que se incorporan evitan la condensación en la parte inferior del depósito, aumentando ligeramente la altura total del mueble.

Es especialmente recomendable incorporar esta opción en aquellos establecimientos con un alto porcentaje de humedad ambiental.

En el caso de que el cliente lo considere oportuno porque va a exponer producto más pesado de lo habitual, ofrecemos la opción de incorporar un sistema de estantes reforzados con lo que se mejora la resistencia de los estantes.

Cuando formamos lineales, utilizamos estas piezas de chapa pintadas en el mismo color exterior del mueble para ocultar el cableado y las tuberías.

Contamos con diferentes tipos de kit de ensamble en función de si el lineal cuenta o no con un mueble de cabecera. En el primer caso, el kit de ensamble es simplemente superior, y en el segundo, superior y lateral.

In all those models of vertical and semivertical multideck without doors, we offer the possibility of including night curtains with hydraulic or motorized brake. This curtain will allow to better maintain the temperature inside the cabinet during the hours when the shop is closed.

The TTC is a touch control system that allows the regulation of the most common parameters of any refrigeration installation, but providing a touch of modernity and technology, thanks to its total integration within the structure of the cabinet.

In the Solid Lines range of verticals we have included the option of ventilation in the botton sheet. The fans that are incorporated prevent condensation at the bottom of the tank, slightly increasing the total height of the cabinet. It is especially advisable to incorporate this option in those establishments with a high percentage of ambient humidity.

In the event that the customer deems it appropriate because it will expose heavier product than usual, we offer the option of incorporating a system of reinforced shelves, thus improving the resistance of the shelves.

When we form linears, we use these sheet metal parts painted in the same outer color of the cabinet to hide wiring and pipes.

We have different types of assembly kit depending on whether or not the linear has a head cabinet In the first case, the assembly kit is simply superior, and in the second, top and side.

En definitiva, les servimos productos que les permitan realizar una instalación sencilla y ágil para poner en marcha la instalación en el menor tiempo posible.

All our cabinets leaves our assembly roads fully equipped according to the requirements provided by our customers. We include in all our models different elements that facilitate the correct assembly of the cabinets and a perfect alignment of the lower and upper stripes. En la última versión de nuestros muebles, hemos incorporado en el proceso de fabricación de los componentes interiores, una placa de ventiladores dividida en varias partes.

Esto permite al personal de mantenimiento acceder fácilmente al interior de estos sin necesidad de, por ejemplo, en el caso de los murales con puertas, desmontar dichas puertas.

Para facilitar la reposición de murales destinados a la exposición y venta de productos lácteos y bebidas, ofrecemos la opción de incluir este sistema FIFO, que permite reducir el tiempo de reposición a la mitad.

In the latest version of our cabinets, we have incorporated in the manufacturing process the interior components, a fan plate divided into several parts. This allows maintenance team to easily access the interior of these without the need, for example, in the case of door vertical multidecks, to disassemble these doors.

Este sistema está disponible para modulaciones múltiplos de 1250, y para modelos con una profundidad de 655mm (estante 450) o de 725mm (estante 550), siendo compatible con cualquier tipo de puerta batiente.

Gracias a la inclinación de los estantes (0º, 4º, 8º, 12º) y el consiguiente deslizamiento de los productos, estos siempre están en la primera posición del estante, lo que favorece la visualización del producto y aumenta las ventas.

Además, este sistema permite una reducción considerable de alimentos obsoletos para ciertas categorías de productos (lácteos) de entorno un 40%.

To facilitate the replacement of vertical multidecks intended for the exhibition and sale of dairy products and beverages, we offer the option to include this FIFO system, which allows to reduce the replacement time by half.

This system is available for multiple modulations of 1250, and for models with a depth of 655mm (shelf 450) or 725mm (shelf 550), being compatible with any type of swing door. El sistema de hipermodularidad está diseñado para realizar combinaciones de estantes de diferentes tamaños y alturas que se adecuen al tamaño del producto expuesto, generando espacios de exposición modernos y originales.

Este sistema se puede utilizar en modulaciones de murales de 1250mm. Los soportes superiores e inferiores permiten colocar 5 cremalleras, dos laterales que son fijas en todas las combinaciones; y otras 3 que están preparadas para colocar los soportes en función del tamaño de los estantes.

Los estantes para este sistema son especiales puesto que tiene un escote para acoplarse a las cremalleras. Los tamaños más habituales son los de 350, 400 y 450mm de profundidad.

The hyper-modularity system is designed to make combinations of shelves of different sizes and heights that adapt to the size of the exposed product, generating modern and original exhibition spaces.

This system can be used in 1250mm vertical multidecks modulations. The upper and lower brackets allow to place 5 zippers, two sides that are fixed in all combinations; and 3 that are ready to place support depending on the size of the shelves.

The shelves for this system are special as it has a neck button to attach to the zippers. The most common sizes are 350, 400 and 450mm deep.

Para ello Frost-trol busca constantemente soluciones con nuevos refrigerantes que permitan cumplir con las normativas a nivel mundial en temas tan importantes como es la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero o la eficiencia energética, el ciclo de vida de los sistemas y equipos.

For this reason, Frost-trol is constantly looking for solutions with new refrigerants that allow compliance with global regulations on such important issues as the emission of greenhouse gases, energy efficiency, the life cycle of systems and equipment.
