EVALUATING MYSELF IN THE LIGHT OF THE BEAUTITUDES (MATTHEW 5:3-12)

ARE YOU BLESSED? “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

1. ARE YOU HUMBLE? _____________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

2. ARE YOU REPENTANT? __________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.”

3. ARE YOU MEEK? ________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.”

4. DO YOU HUNGER AND THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS? _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”

5. ARE YOU MERCIFUL? ___________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”

6. ARE YOU PURE IN HEART? ______________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.”

7. ARE YOU A PEACEMAKER? ______________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________

“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of God.”

8. ARE YOU BEING PERSECUTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS? _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you, because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in Heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
