Editor’s Message Happy Holidays Monsters!

Can you believe that its already the last month of the year?! It is officially giving season so this month is the perfect time to be serving your community, your loved ones, and anyone in need. We have plenty of volunteer events and service projects available in our Google Classroom!

As the year comes to a close, I hope that everyone has had an amazing 2023 (filled with Key Club memories :3) and for my seniors, I’m so proud of us for pushing through the college app season!

VP’s Message

Hi monsters!

I hope everyone enjoyed their thanksgiving break and are looking forward to the end of quarter 2 and winter break! I’m really proud of our club as we accumulated over 185 service hours this month! As a club, we’re all proud of everyone putting the effort and consistently doing service.

Something to keep on your radar is our upcoming Interclub with COKC early next year! I really recommend going as there’s a bunch of opportunities to meet new people and do service but especially the raffle rewards.

We’re all grateful for your diligence effort, let’s close out the year strong :)

PB&J Making The PB&J making was really enjoyable! Many different stations were set up which made the process reliable and efficient.

While making the sandwiches it was also a good opportunity to be able to get and know our members. Knowing they were also able to willingly take their time out their day to help really shows the kindness of a Key clubber. Everything was hands on so everybody was doing something. I’m looking forward to more service opportunities just like this. Knowing what we’re doing is helping somebody in need is one of the most enjoyable and valuable parts about Key Club.

6 | Past Events

Service into Sunset DCM The November DCM “Service into Sunset” was so much fun! Despite the cold, the company of our Key Club friends kept us warm into the sunset. One memorable part was the scavenger hunt where we completed tasks such as “do a spirit chant” and “take a selfie with a DLT member,” and the winners earned plushies and candy. Overall, it was such an enjoyable event and I highly recommend attending DCMs to never miss out on opportunities to have fun and bond with others!
