The orchard is in the process of being extended with new varieties of fruit. There will be a three-year programme of thinning the plantations during the winter months and a tidying-up of the woodland edge. We are working in partnership with Tees Rivers Trust on clearing the reeds in the balancing ponds and West Beck. Funds have been allocated for the paths and bike track improvements. Bridges have been repainted.
