We’ve been giving grants to help the environment for over 70 years. We help to fund school nature areas, woodland creation, access projects, events that provide opportunities for people to discover something new about the natural environment, wildlife ponds and...well, you tell us! We’ve awarded over 600 grants totalling over £1 Million to help enhance and safeguard the landscape, environment and Cumbria’s cultural heritage. We support constituted community groups, charities, not for profit organisations and schools. We can fund small scale projects and works that will conserve and enhance the landscape as well as events and activities that connect people with it and aid their enjoyment of it.
