RUN A TOY DRIVE IN YOUR HOME

Toy drives don’t have to be big and fabulous to be successful, but Kelly Beat’s annual open house is just that. For the past 11 years, Kelly and her two kids (seen here) have donated hundreds of toys for the Toy Closet thanks to the support of their family and friends.

Each December, Kelly transforms her entire home to celebrate Christmas— decorating each room with multiple trees in various themes. She puts out food and drinks and invites her friends, family, and their guests, to view the festivities on one special open house day.

To gain entrance, she asks each guest to bring an unwrapped, new toy to donate to Friends. Guests place their gift under their favorite Christmas tree, voting for the most loved decoration. This open house toy drive has been so successful because Kelly incorporates her love of holiday decorating, hosting guests, and a cause she loves so much. Thank you, Kelly and family, for your continued support for over 11 years!

We accept tickets of any quantity for events in and around St. Louis. Can’t use your season tickets? Donate them to us and we’ll find a family who will put them to good use. We take tickets to events and outings throughout Missouri and Illinois, as our patients reside throughout these areas when not in treatment.
