WINTER FUNDRAISING EVENTS
12 Bars Of Charity
This annual holiday pub crawl is an incredible opportunity to support local charities like Friends while having a blast with family and friends. The event, organized by our young professionals group, Young Friends of Kids with Cancer, was highly attended by St. Louis’ young adults in support of Friends.

This year was successful in raising $43,298 with 2,623 attendees representing Friends of Kids with Cancer.
Each year, the event designates a charity with a special color sweatshirt, free with every ticket purchase. Those wearing white sweatshirts showed their support of Friends of Kids with Cancer while bar crawling across St. Louis, drink cozies in hand.
Karen Saettele, Vice President of the Young Friends board, has organized our participation in 12 Bars of Charity for the last 2 years. She volunteered at the event prior to organizing and says she always had a great time as a volunteer.
Karen cites Emily Savage as the person who spearheads 12 Bars of Charity each year for St. Louis, and says Emily does everything in her power to get the most money back in the hands of the charities. Karen says that Emily is very supportive and helpful to Young Friends throughout the whole planning process.
THIS EVENT RAISED OVER $ 43,000!
“Our volunteers have so much fun during the sweatshirt distribution process and enjoy a great day and evening supporting their favorite charity,” Karen says.
Thank you to Young Friends of Kids with Cancer for a record-breaking year and for raising awareness with young adults in our communities. ▪

20th Annual Trivia Night
Twenty years of trivia and it just gets better and better! On the night of Friday, January 20th, over 500 attendees came out to support Friends of Kids with Cancer and compete in the 20th Annual Timewarp Trivia Night.

Professional comedian, Joe Marlotti, hosted the night, providing comedic quips and perfect pacing.
THIS EVENT RAISED OVER $ 29,000!
In this blast from the past, a guest dressed as Napoleon won Best Dressed, with George Washington a close second.
With special games like balloon pop, heads or tails, and sales from mulligans, raffles, and liquor pull, we raised a lot of money to support our kids and families.
We couldn’t have done it without our amazing volunteers and generous sponsors.
A special thank you to our title sponsor Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, as well as bar sponsors Bob and Diane Kopitsky, and Dave Sinclair Buick GMC. ▪
