WINTER WONDERLAND PATIENT PARTY DRIVE-THRU

Over a hundred cars came by Grant’s Farm filled with our favorite people during the Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru in early December, enjoying treats, toys, and hot chocolate brought right to their windows. Beautiful lights lit up the smiles of our patient families as they said hello and grabbed their goodies. Thanks to the Peter Mayhew Foundation, each child received a high-quality Star Wars toy. Family cars enjoyed the beautiful Grant’s Farm Holiday Lights drive-thru and waved hello to Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

ADOPT-A-FAMILY HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE

180 patients & family members received holiday gifts through Adopt-A-Family.

With the help of 26 volunteers and a few generous donors, holiday wishes came true for 180 parents and kids within 38 patient families. These families received entirely fulfilled wish lists in the 2022 holiday season thanks to the many shoppers, donors, and wrappers in the giving spirit.

Generous donors “adopt” families, sometimes with as many as 6 people to shop for. From toys, gift cards, and special items to necessities like pots and pans and appliances, everyone got their wishes fulfilled.

Volunteers delivered sacks and wagons full of gifts to the families, sometimes driving multiple hours, and, in one unique case, shipping gifts over multiple states when a family made an emergency move. ▪

60 tickets offered to families to attend holiday light experiences, Disney on Ice, and Frozen on Ice.

Patient Holiday Store

Patients unable to leave the hospital shopped for their family members with gifts provided by Friends of Kids with Cancer.

Elf on the Shelf

10 elves spread throughout St. Louis treatment centers with cheerful and fun scenarios for 12 days. Patients receive prizes for finding the elf each day. Over 2,000 prizes given in 2022.

New Year’s Eve Party Kits

45 party kits delivered to patients in the hospital to celebrate the new year.
