JOY CANDELARIA A VIRTUAL GALLERY

JOY CANDELARIA is a nature lover, mother and artist. At a young age she started drawing and exploring art. She admires the variety and beauty of different cultures and tries to include this in her art. She enjoys experimenting with new art mediums and has currently sold many of her new resin ocean pieces. She also does fluid acrylic, rock art, abstract art, jewelry making and function art, like serving boards and coasters. Born and raised in the Central Valley. She is a busy single parent and runs a small family child care business. In high school she was a California Arts Scholar and attended the CSSA Inner sparks for Visual Arts. Her work has been displayed at Woodward park regional library, City Hall, local ArtHop venues. Women’s Art & Music Festival and Taste the Arts Festival. Despite having a set back with her health after high school and not being able to pursue her art career as an animator as she had planned, she has successfully received her Associate in Science for child development, a professional medical assistant certificate and is a licensed child care provider. She has just recently started sharing her art with the public again, thanks to her 12 year old son inspiring and encouraging her to. Her current goal is to simplify her life, pay off her debts and school loans and spread positivity, be it through her art or through her actions.
