From your first tour to your last dance, our experienced team is dedicated to making your wedding vision a reality. As a private club first and foremost we limit the number of outside weddings we do every year ensuring every couple, the wedding parting and guest receive our full attention and our Hospitality reimagined program that our members experience every day. The night of your wedding the club is closed, no dinners, no events, our full attention is your wedding and only your wedding.
We are well known for our award-winning culinary program on the island. Everything we do is thoughtfully crafted and presented with an artisan approach presented. Menu tastings and flexible options ensure your reception reflects your personal style and tastes. From the time they enter our “Wow Factor” cocktail hour your guest will be talking after fact about the food and the total experience
We offer valet parking, refined interiors, and thoughtful amenities that ensure your guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout the event. Our ballroom comfortably accommodates up to 275 guests while maintaining an intimate feel.

We are a hidden gem shared only by word of mouth. As a non-profit business and private member club, Fresh Meadow Country Club cannot advertise, attend bridal expos, or promote through traditional marketing. Yet year after year, our wedding calendar fills with the most dynamic endorsement there is, word of mouth and personal recommendations of those who experience a Wedding at Fresh Meadow Wedding, whether as a guest or a host.

When Can I Schedule a Viewing of the Property?
Viewings are available by appointment only. To schedule a tour, please contact the Club at 516.482.7300.
A $5,000 deposit will reserve your preferred date. If another client expresses interest in the same date, you will receive the first right of refusal.
Should you decide not to proceed with signing, the date will be offered to the other party, and your deposit may be transferred to another available date.
To fully secure your event date, a signed contract is required. Additionally, 50 percent of the estimated total cost is due 90 days prior to your event.
Our venue comfortably accommodates up to 250/275 guests only. Our wedding guest minimum is 180 guests unless arranged otherwise with the General Manager, as certain times of the year and dates may offer some flexibility.
Final payment is due five business days prior to your event.
The guaranteed guest count is the number of attendees you expect at your event, that is in the contract. A final number should it exceed, the contracted number that does not go over our maximum capacity must be submitted via email no later than eight days prior to your event date.
Your final invoice will be based on this final count, and payment is due five business days prior to the event.
Any additional charges related to extra guests, enhancements, last-minute changes, or damage to club property will be invoiced following the event.
Taxes and gratuities are the only items not included in the package; pricing all else is, however, no service fees or admin fees, room charges, our price is all inclusive.
Valet parking is complimentary for your event. Gratuities for valet staff are at the discretion of each guest.
How Much Time Is Allotted for a Wedding and Reception?
We offer a half-hour ceremony, a one-hour cocktail reception, and a four-hour dinner reception.
When Can Vendors Arrive to Set Up and Decorate?
Vendors will receive our “Rules at a Glance” packet to ensure adherence to our standards. Fresh Meadow is a private member club, not a catering hall, and all guidelines must be followed.
For Saturday weddings, vendors may typically arrive Friday evening after 5 PM and again Saturday morning starting at 6 AM. All vehicles and equipment must be cleared from the terrace area by 8:30 PM on Saturday; no vehicles after 8:30 PM.
Any and all equipment by vendors and set up must be removed after the wedding is over.
Can I Bring My Own Vendors, Such as Entertainment, Florists, or Photographers?
Yes, you are welcome to use your preferred vendors, provided they can supply insurance documentation and references. We are also happy to offer a list of trusted vendors familiar with our venue and service expectations. We also have a relationship with Great Neck Inn, a mile away from the club.
What Is the Size of the Dance Floor?
Our standard dance floor is 24’ x 24’. Alternative sizes are available depending on your guest count and room layout.
Are Linen Choices Available?
We provide a selection of black, white, and ivory linens, along with a wide variety of solid-colored linen napkins. Specialty linens may be arranged for an additional fee.
What Size Are the Banquet Tables?
Our round banquet tables are 72 inches in diameter and can seat up to 10–12 guests, we have smaller tables and also over rectangle table seating as well. We also provide 36-inch high and low cocktail tables.
Can Guests Choose Between Entrées?
For plated dinners, you may offer guests up to two entrée options in advance. Additionally, we provide a vegetarian or chicken option the night of the event for those who prefer alternatives to the main selections.
Dual plates featuring meat and seafood are also available, streamlining service and allowing more time for celebration.
A third entrée choice may be offered for an additional $15/$20 per guest.
Are Menu Tastings Available?
Yes, menu tastings are available for contracted bookings and are held on Friday evenings before our member dinner service. Tastings are not offered on Saturdays or Sundays and are limited to six guests.
The tasting includes three salads, four main plates, and a sample of passed mini desserts. Please note this is a tasting experience, not a full meal.
Requests must be made at least 21 days in advance and are subject to availability. We recommend scheduling your tasting four to six weeks prior to your event.
Is there a Ceremony Fee?
The ceremony is held on our terrace with a beautiful view. There is no charge for the Terrace
At times people have choose to have the ceremony inside the ball room there is a set fee for this as the work involved to break down the ceremony and be ready for the reception is quite a task.
Are After Parties Available?
We can provide an after party from 12am to 1am only in our living room. It is a $3,500 charge and includes after-party food and open bar. Music is not provided by the club.
What Is Your Policy on Leftover Food?
In adherence to food safety and health regulations, all food must remain on the club premises.
Are Martinis or Shots Included in the Bar Package?
Basic gin and vodka martinis are included. Shots are permitted.
Do You Offer Children’s Meals?
Yes, we offer meals for children 12 years old and under.
Are Vendor Meals Available?
Vendor meals are available upon request. Most vendors require meals, which include a hot plated entrée and nonalcoholic beverages at a cost of $75 per vendor.
