Serving and Giving Since 2003 Founded in 2003, the Frenship Foundation for Leadership is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to giving back to Frenship ISD. Each year, the Foundation provides monetary support through student scholarships and teacher grants to further enrich student learning.

Thanks to our generous donors, the Frenship Foundation for Leadership awarded $175,000 to Frenship students and staff in 2021.

Event Sponsorships DRIVE 4ORE! LEADERS GOLF TOURNAMENT 4ORE! Golf | May 5, 2022 Since the spring of 2004, the Frenship Foundation has held an annual golf tournament to provide Character Scholarships to Frenship seniors. Join us for a day filled with fun, networking, live music, food, and a chance to meet the Class of 2022 Character Scholarship recipients benefiting from the tournament. Each flight winner will receive a prize, and participants will have the opportunity to compete in the Longest Drive competition, as well as enter to win raffle prizes at the door!

SPECIAL EVENT / BENEFIT CONCERT COMING FALL 2022 From galas to concerts and everything in between, each year since 2013, the Foundation hosts a special event with proceeds directly impacting Frenship teachers through Teacher Grants. These grants help fund materials, technology, supplies, and innovative projects that engage students and spark a passion for learning. Thanks to the sponsors of the 2021 Benefit Concert, the Foundation awarded nearly $80,000 to teachers through grants last fall.

Additional Sponsorship Opportunities CHARACTER SCHOLARSHIPS Awarded in Spring 2022 To date, the Frenship Foundation has awarded hundreds of Frenship seniors with Character Scholarships totaling nearly $900,000. These scholarships are awarded to students based on their leadership, service to others, and exceptional character. In addition to the funds raised through the annual golf tournament, donations may be earmarked directly for the Character Scholarship initiative.

TEACHER GRANTS Awarded in Fall 2022 Each year, the Frenship Foundation awards Frenship teachers with grants that directly impact the classrooms by enhancing education and creating a love for learning.

Teacher Grants help fund program materials, technology, supplies, and innovative projects throughout the District.

Businesses and community partners who sponsor a teacher grant in the amount of $1,000 or higher are invited to join us for the annual Prize Patrol celebration to surprise the teachers receiving grants.

DOUBLE T 97.3 RADIO SPONSORSHIP One of our most popular sponsorship opportunities, the Double T 97.3 sponsorship features co-branded radio commercials on the top sports station in Lubbock. Radio commercials will highlight Frenship Foundation initiatives and will recognize the sponsors as partners and supporters of the Foundation. There are only 12 sponsorship spots available each year, beginning June 30, 2022 - July 1, 2023. Two ads air on a rotation, each with six sponsors listed at the end. FRENSHIP EMPLOYEE EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND The Frenship Employee Emergency Relief Fund (FEERF) is designed to support current Frenship ISD employees who need financial assistance due to an emergency. These emergencies could be the result of reduced hours, spouse’s loss of a job, family illness or death, or other unexpected circumstances. For the 2020-2021 school year, the relief fund assisted seven Frenship families and contributed a total of $12,152.45 through employee payroll deductions and donations. This program has made a difference in the lives of Frenship ISD employees and is a true depiction of the Frenship Way.
