Well, actually Mr Yahoo, any service at all would be an improvement at times! How many of you have seen this notice recently: Unfortunately we are unable to process your request at this time. This error is usually temporary. Please try again later. If you continue to experience this error, it may be caused by one of the following:
You may want to scan your system for spyware and viruses, as they may interfere with your ability to connect to Yahoo!. For detailed information on spyware and virus protection, please visit the Yahoo! Security Center. This problem may be due to unusual network activity coming from your Internet Service Provider. We recommend that you report this problem to them. While this error is usually temporary, if it continues and the above solutions don't resolve your problem, please let us know.
Lots of us are finding these messages frequently at the moment. We need to make sure Yahoo do something about it, so do please let them know! Do you know that membership statistics for all Freegle groups are recorded every week? Top Tip!

Firefox Update: Those who use Firefox are being asked if they would like to update to Firefox 6. Edward has confirmed that this is absolutely fine to do for the mod plug-in, along with the update for the plug-in. You can install them in any order. If you don‟t currently use Firefox, why not try it, if only for your Freegle Group work? The plug-in makes it all so much easier! It was great to see Freegle mentioned in Clearing Out Clutter (July), as I volunteer for our local group - but your readers may not realise that you can get rid of or pick up almost anything as long as it is free and legal. You could also give away toys, mobile phones, computers and even bras. Thanks Jo! Any comment on a blog or article can raise awareness: I recently „collared‟ a local political group meeting next door to the room in which I was rehearsing. When we left, several of them mouthed “Freegle” at me! I‟ve also got Freegle links with the local Green Party and local Estate Agents. Others do far more, I know.
