If you spend any time on my Facebook page you have probably noticed lots of pictures of great views, jawdropping scenery and other ‘happy snaps’. These show some of the benefits of living a life of freedom.

For many of us though, life is not all about lazing beside a pool or lying on a beach. And while everyone wants to do these things some of the time, many of us also want to contribute. For some, freedom lets us make an impact on the world Contribution (ie serving others or giving back to the world), is one of the primary factors that increases our feeling of fulfilment as humans. It’s ironic that although we spend many hours dreaming of sandy beaches (insert your favourite dream here), often once we get there we can only do it for so long before becoming bored or restless.

Some of you may be thinking ‘nope, I’ll never get bored of lying on a beach all day’. However if you are anything like me, you can only do nothing for so long before you begin to itch for something more.

As I said – contribution and serving others generally leads to greater fulfilment.

Freedom and making an impact on the World All of this brings me to one of the major reasons I believe living a free life is so important. I firmly believe that only if we feel completely free can we serve others to the extent of our potential. Think about it for a moment: If you are stuck in a job that you hate, then all you think about is how much you hate your job.

If you have a 2-hour commute every day, then all you think about is how much you hate the train/tube/car.

If you have no money and are struggling to make ends meet, then all you can think about is how to pay the next bill.

If you have a good job but it bores you, then your mind will automatically go into a tired and bored state all

of the time.

In any of the above circumstances (and there are several other examples), you are in no position to start making an impact on the world. You are in no position to start thinking how you can serve others.

When you make changes to your life and create a free lifestyle, you suddenly have much more time, energy and money to invest in projects to help others. You are at liberty to think about the contribution you want to make, because you are not constrained by a tired, stressed, fear-driven mind.

You can think about how you want to serve the world, and you can actually go and do it (you have the time, the money and the mental energy).

Freedom is the ultimate goal That’s why freedom is (I believe) the ultimate goal. When you are completely free you can be so much more effective, so much more useful than when you are constrained.

And of course it’s a virtuous cycle – increased freedom leads to more happiness, which leads to greater service to others, which leads to more business, which leads to more money, which leads to more time, which leads to more freedom etc!

So it doesn’t matter why you desire freedom – it may be to sit on the beach and ski 3 months of the year. It may be so you can spend more time with your kids. It may be to build a huge business, serve millions of people and impact the world.

It doesn’t matter what the reason is. The important point is that being free is a state of mind and being which then becomes a jumping-off point for so many others adventures and achievements in life.

The Internet Lifestyle You may be thinking: “yeah Andy all this talk of freedom and serving others is great, but where do I start? I’m stuck in a rut, I have a job I hate and I have bills to pay”.

The answer is the internet. Get started part-time if you need to keep the job for now ( find out more here).

The internet gives everyone the opportunity to build their own business and their own brand. Anybody can build an online business; either by creating and selling your own products, or selling the products of someone else (affiliate marketing). You can run your business from ANYWHERE, provided you have a computer and internet connection.

The further into online business you get, the more you master it, the more money you begin to make, and the more time freedom you develop. This in turn allows you to create your own products or services, which then make your business and brand even bigger.

I got started in online business through the Six Figure Mentors, and I haven’t looked back. I have the ability now to serve the world on my terms, and help those that want to do what I have done (other freedom-hunters!).

So, whatever your reason is for wanting greater freedom; whether it is lying on a beach or making an impact on the world, I URGE you to take action and get started in online business NOW. Don’t waste time – your future freedom and happiness depends on it
