This publication offers an overview of scholarly activities and creative works from Fredonia’s faculty over the last 12 months. The quality of the work highlighted in this publication is a clear demonstration of the commitment of the faculty at SUNY Fredonia to advancing teaching, research, creativity, innovation, and service. Fredonia faculty also continue to engage students in their scholarly work and in professional conferences, which offers a distinction to Fredonia degree programs and opportunities to our students for experiential learning and professional growth that would otherwise not be available. I am thankful for this excellent work and the high level of commitment to fulfilling the mission of the university. While faculty research, scholarship, and creative activity can be seen simply by walking through campus labs, studios, and practice spaces, it's all the more impressive to see it memorialized in the pages of this publication.

Fredonia students benefit most from the work that our faculty create, as it engages them in their majors and programs, and helps them to develop the critical thinking and creative energy they'll need to be successful global citizens.
