Ile de Beauté, island of beauty,
the French nickname for Corsica.
— Two weeks of experience, in the month of April 2009, left a rough but colorful impression behind on my retina. The nuances in the green caused by fragrant maquis, chestnut trees, meadows, pine and the emerald green mountain lakes, the many differences in yellow and red hues in the rocks with their irregular shapes.
The island is a summary of the mainland. Because, where can you drive your car from the snow-rich mountains to the beach, where cows graze on the edge of the sea? —
