THURMONT
COLORFEST is Back for 2021! 2020 will certainly be remembered for many life-changing adaptations and cancelations of events due to Covid-19. Thurmont’s Colorfest was no exception, and for the first time in fifty-six years the Colorfest did not happen due to the pandemic. While thousands of festivals were canceled nationally, Colorfest is special and is unlike these other events and festivals that were canceled in 2020. So, what makes Colorfest so unique and special? Colorfest attracts over 100,000 visitors each year making Colorfest one of the largest two-day festivals in the state of Maryland, and is one of the largest outdoor craft shows on the East Coast! That sets Colorfest apart from other events or festivals! This year the Colorfest is back and anxiously awaiting the 100,000 plus who attend each year and enjoy close to 800 vendors with an amazing variety of crafts, art, jewelry, unique household items, delicious food, and much more.
