Halls Head - Waitlists The student numbers are slowing increasing as shown in the previous slide.
Replace this image with an image relevant to your event
The Halls Head Campus is now a name within the community and we are generating waitlists for the lower years. For example the Kindergarten 2023 intake has taken place and all 20 positions have been accepted. These places went to 13 siblings and 7 new families. There are still 8 families on a waitlist.

The places went to 32 siblings, 17 Old Scholars and 11 new families. There are still 37 families on a waitlist, 9 of these being late sibling applications.

Review of why the numbers have declined Why do students not start or withdraw from FIAS? Points to consider: Relocation Uncontrollable Students transfer to another local secondary school In later years of Secondary this is being reviewed Some of our existing Year 6 students do not transfer to FIAS Secondary School Family traditions or are they unsure what is available in the Secondary school for their child? Families withdraw before their student has started This is unknown, could it be our intake procedure? New Year 7 students leave within the first year Sometimes this is ‘Did not settle’ Why?
Where to start? Year 7 is the main Secondary intake for FIAS.
Replace this image with an image relevant to your event
From the figures produced, 180 students in Year 7 each year, would give the School a healthy cushion to manage the withdrawals as the students transition through the School. How can we obtain the required number of Year 7 students? Look into new ways of raising interest within the community Review our current intake procedure
