BAC Thanks the Special Project Heads and Aux Corps by CHARMIAN MOLINA
The Special Project Heads and Aux Corps are more than just volunteers - they are wonderful blessings to the BAC. It's not easy for 26 people to manage several projects and take care of hundreds of CBA students, but with the SPHs and Aux alongside, we can and we will. Thank you brothers and sisters, for you breathe life and soul into the BAC. You make our family whole. <3 1st Sem SPH’s Gen Reg - MJ De Leon, Jet Padernal BA Line - Camille Calma, Karez Martin BA Support - Kenneth Almanzor Freshmen Initiative - Marc Soria, AJ Lamorena, Aly Pucyutan Alumni Initiative - Marty Gonzaga, Abie Abuacan Grad School - Franz Karunungan BAC2YOU - Benjie Baladad, Aprille San Miguel Giving BACk to CBA Staff - Thei Bana-ay, Danica Manalastas, Jerell Rodriguez Cleanliness Campaign - Edbert Ching Giving BACk to Isko - Gelo Avendano, Bea Tempongko, Awie Clemente OrgPres - Nico Castro, Corr Reyes, Geca Gayo Big Event - Jules Herrera-Lim, Nikki Turano, Ian Dazo, Jhanette Co, Geline Clemente, Miriam Macasaet, Mara Villancio BA Choir - Kara Soliman, EJ Sarsoza

AuxCorp Experience Charles Yu, BAC 2012 AuxHead Working as the Auxiliary Corps Head during BACBACAN was biggest challenge in my college life, and I'm only a freshman! There was a point when the voice in my head just told me "what the hell have you gotten yourself into?" From making the mechanics of the parlor games to rallying the Auxcorps to volunteer, it became apparent that AuxCorps wasn't going to be a walk in the park, and all this stress served only as a foreshadowing for BACBACAN. Without any past BACBACANs to draw experience from, BACBACAN 2011 was very hectic for me. Half the time was spent running back and forth to check up on the Auxcorps on duty, while the rest of the time was spent being a marshal at the parlor games. It was a different feeling from simply being a spectator since I had to work while most of my batchmates were enjoying themselves. At one point I felt as if I've bitten off more than I could chew as the Auxcorps faltered slightly in facilitating the parlor games. There were many holes in the mechanics which made it harder to act as marshals the games, but I felt better when the council came to help us out. At the end of the day, I could have done more, but I'm content with what little I was able to contribute to BACBACAN. I stumble, I make mistakes, and I'm human, but that won't stop me from doing better. The next Council events better watch out, because Auxcorps are going to have them covered. Danica Manalastas, BAC 2012 Aux Logistics Head Being part of Aux Corps in BACBACAN made me feel part of something much bigger than myself. It was more than just volunteer duty; it meant working as a team in ensuring that all goes well from start to finish. The greatest fulfillment was seeing people’s happy faces and genuine smiles, which could only mean they enjoyed the event that we helped make possible. If I were to do it over again, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Go Aux! Aj Lamorena, Freshmen Initiative Special Project Head Applying to be an SPH of BAC’s Freshmen Initiative is definitely one of the best decisions I have made. Being part of the Freshie Team, I was able to work with people who I learned a lot from and was given the opportunity to do things I never thought I could. It was challenging, yes, but seeing the Freshies now makes everything worth it. Placing 2nd in Futsal in BACBACAN 1, stepping-up for various positions in the orgs they are applying for, actively participating in AuxCorps and going through their Freshie year as one strong batch, they are certainly starting to leave their own mark in CBA. All of these make us from the Freshie Team very proud and we’re pretty sure we’ll be seeing more from them soon.
