“Young people of every continent, do not be afraid to be the saints of the new millennium! ...The Lord wants you to be intrepid apostles of his Gospel and builders of a new humanity.”
— Pope Saint John Paul II
In his message for World Youth Day 2000, Pope Saint John Paul II entreated young people to “Be contemplative, love prayer; be coherent with your faith and generous in service of your brothers and sisters, be active members of the Church and builders of peace.”
Just as in 2000, we find ourselves on the doorstep of a Jubilee year. By God’s grace, the Jubilee year of 2025 will provide, in the still-timely words of Pope Saint John Paul II, “...an opportune time for courageous spiritual renewal and exceptional celebration of God’s love for humanity.”
As we begin celebrating this Jubilee year, the fruits of the Frassati Catholic community continue to appear in new and exceptional ways. As they learn the truth of human dignity and the greatness of their call, our students mature into young men and women who understand that holiness is possible for everyone.
Our mission is to serve the young people of North Houston with an authentic Catholic education, and with our consistent trajectory of growth we are nearing the limit for responding to the increased demand from the community. We need partners in our mission, builders in the community, who will help ensure our ability to serve new generations of young people on their path toward beatitude.
The Building Saints Capital Campaign will provide desperately needed academic facilities that would allow our student body to expand up to 450 students. As you learn more about this ambitious project throughout our brochure, we invite you to prayerfully consider supporting the Building Saints Capital Campaign, facilitating our growth and allowing us to partner with parents in the formation of saints for the new millennium.
In Christ,
Sister John Paul, O.P.
Principal
Growing Demand Leads to Dwindling Capacity
In 2020, the Frassati Catholic Board of Directors engaged in a strategic planning process which set the five-year vision for development in our community. The 2022-2027 strategic plan launched in spring 2022, with the overarching goal of increasing the student body to 300, roughly 75 students per class, by the year 2027. But as our students, alumni, and families shared the good news of Frassati Catholic, we experienced rapid growth sooner than anticipated. In the 2023-2024 academic year, we surpassed our enrollment goal a full four years ahead of schedule.
Thanks to prudent planning by our Board of Directors, we used available resources to temporarily accommodate our growing student body, including the purchase of two portable academic facilities providing room for 350-375 students. With record year-over-year enrollment, that limit appears to be on the horizon as soon as the 2026-2027 academic year.
And even with temporary room for increased student capacity, we still lack appropriate space to support our teachers including teacher workspaces, conference rooms, and additional classrooms to minimize room sharing. With the growing demand and immediate space constraints, we must now focus on building a 20,000 square foot academic facility to meet the needs of the community. Without it, we risk having to turn away young men and women seeking educational formation grounded in the Catholic faith.

Immediate Facilities Needs
Classrooms and Laboratories
The largest current need. Additional classrooms will allow us to accommodate more students, expand and enhance our curriculum, and minimize classroom sharing among teachers, a regular disruption for both faculty and students caused by limited space on campus.
Teacher and Staff Workspaces
A major painpoint. Lack of dedicated workspaces force teachers and staff to find areas on campus to complete their work, make confidential phone calls, and collaborate with others. A facilities expansion provides the breathing room necessary to support teacher and staff success.
Conference Spaces
Necessary as we continue to scale our community. Developing plans for future success requires dedicated spaces for regular collaboration. From our Board of Directors, to regular team meetings on campus, conference spacing will provide much-needed collaborative planning space.
The Building Saints Capital Campaign is centered on the truth that holiness is possible for everyone. We are called toward the ultimate good, union with God in heaven.
In order to form saints for this new millennium, we require the spaces that allow students to dynamically engage with present-day questions of faith and science, arts and culture, and the meaning of the good life. This formation allows students to confidently bring academic content to bear on the constantly developing demands of the modern world.
Building Saints will facilitate the fundraising and construction for a 20,000 square foot academic building. This $6M facility will include seven academic classrooms, three science laboratories, principal’s suite with a conference room, and limited administrative space.
“It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be grounded down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.”
— Pope Saint John Paul II

Frassati Catholic boasts a unique science sequence, beginning with algebra-based physics. This sequence supports student growth by progressing to chemistry, biology, and an elective science in the final year of study. The Frassati Catholic science sequence was intentionally developed to integrate fully with the signature Ethics & Culture curriculum.
“There is an emphasis on the Catholic faith in the classroom as well as outside of it. The unique curriculum contains lessons and insights that are not restricted to only one area...students are able to make connections between different subjects.”
The integrated curriculum provides opportunities for students to make connections across all disciplines, contributing to a holistic education.
With three additional sciences laboratories, we will have the opportunity to expand the science curriculum, including AP Chemistry, computer science, additional Agriculture Life courses, and other science-based electives.
