New Beith’s newest neighbour

We’re excited to share an update on the new Frasers Property community coming to New Beith. Our latest newsletter provides an overview of the progress on our community masterplan, highlights the work we are doing across our Queensland communities, and outlines key construction activities and timelines.

At present, we’re experiencing delays related to environmental protection approvals, which are a crucial part of ensuring we preserve the local flora and fauna. As a result, our anticipated launch date has been pushed to late 2025 or early 2026. While we work through this important step, we are committed to keeping you informed. We’ll continue providing updates through our newsletters and via our website at newbeith.com.au, and look forward to meeting you at our upcoming community drop-in session, details to the right.

Drop-In

We’re holding a drop-in session, an opportunity for local residents to speak with us regarding the progress for this new development.

Date: Saturday, 19 July Time: 9am to 11am

Meet: 347-369 Mountain Ridge Road, South Maclean We hope to see you there!

Creating Community Legacy

At Frasers Property Australia, we have a proud history of developing homes and communities that go beyond bricks and mortar. For decades, we’ve been dedicated to creating vibrant places where people can connect, grow, and thrive together. Our commitment to fostering a sense of belonging is at the heart of everything we do, from thoughtfully designed homes to the long-lasting communities we build.

We are excited to share the first steps of our community initiatives at New Beith, a place that embodies our vision for sustainable and connected living. One of the key highlights is our collaboration with Bee One Third, an innovative environmental group, to introduce a bee colony in the area. The bees will play an essential role in supporting the local ecosystem, and as a community, we will have the unique opportunity to harvest honey that reflects the local flora –a true taste of New Beith. This initiative not only supports biodiversity but also brings our residents together to appreciate nature’s wonders.

Our community-building efforts don’t stop within the bounds of our community. We believe that art is a powerful way to express identity and connect people. That’s why we’re launching a creative campaign inviting local schools and the broader community to submit artwork that reflects what “home” means to them. The artwork will shape the look and feel of our future community campaigns, ensuring that the voices of New Beith residents are represented and celebrated. It’s an opportunity to share stories, express creativity, and contribute to the growing culture of our community.

At Frasers Property Australia, we are not just building homes; we are crafting experiences, fostering connection, and cultivating a sense of belonging. As we continue to develop New Beith and other communities across Australia, we remain committed to creating places where people feel truly at home. Together, we can build a future that is vibrant, inclusive, and full of opportunities for all.

We look forward to sharing more details soon, and here’s to the sweet success of our bee colony.

Our Commitment to Cultural Heritage

We’re proud to share that, through consultation and collaboration with the Danggan Balun (Five Rivers) People (Danggan Balun Working Group), we’ve finalised a Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP). This plan ensures we’re taking the best possible approach to preserving cultural heritage, with a focus on long-term care and respect.

We’ve also formed a formal partnership with the Danggan Balun Working Group, reinforcing our commitment to ongoing collaboration and a shared future. This partnership is more than just an agreement – it’s about embedding cultural heritage, environmental stewardship, and economic empowerment into everything we do. By working together, we’re integrating First Nations principles into the development with meaningful, lasting impact.

As part of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, we’re making sure First Nations knowledge, values, and leadership are at the heart of this project. We’re excited about what we can achieve together, both now and into the future.

Environmental Healing & Sustainability

By integrating Traditional Custodian knowledge to restore Country through native planting, cultural land management, and sustainable practices, long-term ecological and community benefits are ensured. This is achieved by:

• Restoring and regenerating the land through native species planting

• Honouring Indigenous water cycles through creek rehabilitation, wetland restoration, and integrating First Nations water management knowledge

Cultural & Community-Based Healing

Connection to Country is fostered through storytelling, art, and ceremony, while driving economic empowerment through jobs, business opportunities, and First Nations led initiatives. At Frasers Property we:

• Create jobs and career pathways for First Nations people through the Traditional Rangers Program

• Engage local Elders and Knowledge Holders to run workshops on land care, history, and sustainable living through our First Nations-Led Education Programs

Governance & Stewardship

In consultation and collaboration with the Danggan Balun Working Group, we ensure best-practice governance in relation to cultural heritage, embedding long-term partnerships and cultural safety into our decision-making. This is achieved by:

• Forming a committee with the Danggan Balun Working Group and Frasers Representatives to oversee cultural heritage commitments and decision making

• Establishing a long-term partnership agreement that extends beyond project completion, ensuring First Nations perspectives remain integral to the development’s legacy

By integrating First Nations principles with ESG leadership, we are honouring the past, shaping a more inclusive present, and building a sustainable future: one where Country, community, and culture thrive together.

Masterplan Design

At the heart of the site, Round Mountain stands as a distinctive feature, offering visual prominence and a unique elevation that shapes the community’s identity. As the landscape is shaped by the natural beauty of the Australian outdoors, green corridors will weave through the site, linking village precincts and creating an organic flow between different spaces.

These green corridors will extend into parks, playgrounds, and sports fields, ensuring that green spaces are integrated throughout the neighbourhood.

The masterplan places a strong emphasis on fostering a walkable, thriving community. By prioritising green spaces, cycling and walking paths, and a variety of play areas, the design promotes an active lifestyle while encouraging residents to engage with their surroundings. Nature play areas will be a highlight, providing children with opportunities to explore and connect with nature, building their skills and sparking creativity and curiosity. The community will also benefit from a central hub that will serve as the social and commercial heart of the development.

The Neighbourhood Centre will be a lively, central point where residents can shop for essentials, meet friends, or enjoy recreational activities. With its mix of local amenities and gathering spaces, the Neighbourhood Centre will also serve as a destination for visitors, drawing people from the surrounding areas.

Development Site

Over the past few months, our team has been hard at work refining the detailed design for Precincts A and B, and we’re thrilled to share that both stages are now with Economic Development Queensland for final approval. A key focus of this process has been making sure that the natural corridors and green spaces guide the design, creating a unique point of difference in the market and enhancing the quality of life for our future residents.

One of the standout features of the development is Round Mountain, which adds a natural elevation to the site, bringing even more diversity and interest to the landscape. We’re excited to share the full design with you in the coming months, and with civil construction for the first stage expected to begin in early 2026, pending approvals, we’re looking forward to seeing this vision come to life.

Mountain Ridge Road & Rail Bridge

We’re continuing to work closely with our contractors and local authorities to move forward with the design for the Mountain Ridge Road upgrades and the rail bridge. While we’ve encountered some delays with approvals and are still waiting for final council approval, we’re optimistic that construction will begin on both projects later this year.

We’ll keep you updated as we progress and appreciate your patience as we work through these final steps.

Sales Display

We’re excited to share that our construction partner, Integral, is making great strides on the new Sales & Display Centre. In collaboration with Calvino Architects and A New Legacy interior design teams, this project is shaping up beautifully. We’re looking forward to unveiling this space to you as we work toward a September completion, weather permitting.

The building slab is in place, and the frames and walls are up. Over the next few weeks, both the interior and exterior will begin to take shape. We’ve also partnered with Urbis Landscape Architects to ensure the surrounding green spaces take centre stage, creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all who visit the Sales & Display Centre. Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward.
